I went in to ask some questions of my phone service contract. the wait was less than 5 minutes and we were taken care of by Miguel. we then went to a table and everything was going good until the fruit flies started flying all over us. we stayed put but after a few minutes we had to move tables due to the fact that there was so many. at the other table it was ok. but then it started again. one of them almost went into my nostril. i had to keep putting my hands up to brush them off. i felt so bad for miguel he was being harassed by the fruit flies too. i did not see any food or fruit out anywhere, so the question is where and why is that problem there. i couldn't bare be there more than 20 minutes i feel bad for your employees. is that even sanitary for your employees or your customers? you are a big company and i can imagine you can spare some money to take care of this problem. put your employees and customers safety first. i feel bad for your employees working there and have to deal with this unsanitary issue. Miguel is a great employee and he and your other employees deserve better, do better. miguels customer service was more than i expected. i hope if i go back soon, if i need any more information and not have to deal with fighting off the fruit flies. please do better. show how much you value your customers as well as your employees. read more

I went with my mom who has dementia to get her a cell phone since she lost her old one. No one could do anything because she didn't remember her pin and when she opened her account the lazy ATT employee who opened her account set her last name as her first name. So, her ID didn't work, she didn't have her pin, but her credit card was able to charge her every month. My mom started to feel hopeless. Danny, the manager in turn, started getting into a shouting match with my dementia mother. He than, said he couldn't help. I called the company and finally after calling several times, they changed my mother's first name to her last. Now, trying to pay for my mother's bill has taken an hour an half so far today, even though I am in the account. ATT has the rudest and worst customer service I have ever seen! FirstNet and Family by AT&T is a discounted service for first responders. Once you get it setup you should be good right? Wrong, after 3 months they lose your account information and cancel your service. I have been going through this for 8 months. This has happened 3 times. This is an issue since they cancel the phone service, I use my phone for work and communicate with doctors. I hope there's no emergency during this no phone service. I can tell you that I'm switching to another phone service. read more

Terrible experience a total waste of time !! I am specifically talking about the AT&T sales crew in Costco on Broadway Chula vista. I stopped by to ask about prices since a couple weeks ago one of the guys working told me it would be about 140 for 4 lines unlimited everything. I've been with Sprint now tmobile for years 30+ was looking to save money. They asked for info they said they were going to check credit but not running it so I explained i have my credit on a freeze to protect it. They ask me to unfreeze it for a bit while they checked so I did all 3. Then they say now I have to wait 15/20 to check it ok I leave for a bit to walk around Costco. I come back he says we have to start over because the first one showed it was on a freeze. Ok let's re do it then we come down to taking a picture of my ID and because the app isn't working (so he said) he says well sorry we can't do it. Complete waste of my time if they could not offer a reasonable price then why lie. I will stick with Tmobile I would rather pay extra than deal with a company that lies. read more

Came into AT&T to order my iPad Pro for my last birthday present. We were put on the waitlist and waited for about 10-15minutes not too bad at all. Meanwhile while waiting we played with all the cool gadgets & phones around the store. We were finally called upon and was helped by Omar I believe was his name or maybe it was Oscar. Cool chill guy with glasses & black hair black beard. Omar was amazing!! Great salesman and had an answer to every question we asked or were curious about. We searched for any rose gold iPads nearby, there were none so we decided to order a regular gold one online. Omar also told us about our 25% off apple products that day, we decided to pass but we did learn that you are able to make payments on accessories too! Like headphones & Bluetooth speakers. Super cool because I never knew you could do that! My husband was also really curious about directv through AT&T. So Omar told us how to do it and since we purchased an item we're getting it for $10 a month which is cool because with that we're offered free HBO. AWESOME!! TOO LONG, DIDNT READ If you need help with customer support, ask Francisco, he helped me out with my issues so quickly, it was much faster than going to Little Caesars to get a hot and ready pizza. AVOID the AT&T store across the street, next to Starbucks. Terrible customer service over there and probably the rudest employees. I came to this location after having one of the worst experiences with customer support. I came here to remove my phone from AT&T and have been experiencing issues doing this for almost 24 hours. Francisco was available and easily showed me how to handle this whole issue. He showed me that I could remove my SIM card from my phone, connect to the WiFi, go to the AT&T unlock page on the website, input my information and then after that I would no longer be attached to AT&T. It was so fast and easy for assistance over here. If I come back to AT&T then this would be the location for me to come back to. 10/10 read more

I have been with ATT for over 10 years, he saw that and went all out to make me feel like a preferred customer. It's hard to find that level of customer service anymore. I am writing a review on behalf of my grandparents who visited this AT&T location. My grandmother is in her late 80s and recently got an iPhone and somehow locked herself out of it. She felt very confused and frustrated upon entering the store. A man named Joel (who I believe is a manager) was very kind and showed her great patience. He was able to solve the issue and explain things in very cohesive way. She left the store feeling listened to and got the issue resolved. read more

I went to the store June 30th to get internet and att tv service, they couldn't install my internet service because my apartment was #6 and for some reason at&t wants to install it under apartment #f. I don't recommend getting tv until the internet is installed, with this tv service if you don't have internet, tv doesn't work. No matter what the managers offers wait for the internet installation FIRST! I had to go back to the store to cancel after waiting 20 days and return the tv device I paid for in advance... they kept me on the line for 45 mins, manager Andrea had to talk to their loyalty team, ( she seemed not very happy to take the call to help me.. ) AND still got a charge 60 DLLS for a service that never was installed. My husband and I came in to fix some issues we had transferring all our data from our old iPhones to our new iPhones we had just received In The mail. We were greeted and seated right away by Vidar. He listened attentively to our concerns and began to problem solve all the while explaining everything thoroughly as he worked. He made sure everything transferred accurately and checked and tested that we could send and receive texts and phone calls from each iphone. Entered the AT&T on Broadway at the mall at 10:55 on Wednesday 1/15/20. Four employees in the store, two with customers. Checked in with the "Greeter" ( his only job, unless I'm someone relives him) One employee left said to the others have to go to my appointment. At 11:45 one customer finished with the employee and left. With no customer the "Employee said something to the greeter , and went to the back room. At this point there is 4 of waiting for a free employee. Five minutes later he hasn't returned. I ask the greeter how much longer will it be. He says " I don't know. I said good by. I stopped by this past Sunday April 25th around 4 o'clock for a trade-in upgrade promotion. As a disclaimer my previous phone was cracked in the top right corner which the AT&T associate Vania acknowledged and assured me that I would be able to get $300.00 credit towards my new phone and not 500.00 because it was a Samsung note 8 (out dated she said). I was told that transfer of data from my old phone to my new phone would take 20- 30 minutes approximately. All was well until I attempted to transfer data from my old phone to my new phone, which took longer than expected (because I had so many texts messages apparently?) and transfer of data was not completed by the time the store closed. I was at at&t nearly an hour after the store closed (store closed at 6pm) while still waiting to complete the data transfer, I finally asked the store manager (before any associate offered any other options) if I could take both my old phone and new phone home to compete transfer or if I could leave the new phone at the store; at which the store manager said I could take both old phone and new phone to complete transfer at home and that I had 30 days to return my old phone. I was unable to come in the next 2 days but returned on Wednesday. My phone was in the exact condition as it was on Sunday when I first came in, cracked in the top corner, the same store associate Vania that helped me on Sunday then told me today when I came back that she could not provide me the 300.00 credit because "she not noticed the crack on Sunday " which i was forthcoming and showed Vania on Sunday and assured me i could get the 300.00 credit towards my new phone, but 2 days later claimed she didn't see it on Sunday. To be honest I felt as though I had been misled, misinformed, and completed the trade in promotion under false pretense: behavior intended to deceive others; with inaccurate information. Vania's proposed solution was option 1: Keep the phone and pay full price? option 2: to return to new phone and they would waive the restock fee? Option 3: bring in another newer phone for a $300 trade in value. Very unprofessional, horrible customer service, terrible business practice....and to think their catch tag is "rethink possible" should be "rethink your practices" more like it... read more

Came here to see if I can upgrade to an iPhone 6. I was helped by a young and nice gentleman named Jr. He told me his real name, but I won't disclose his real name. He was very helpful and answered my questions. I was fourth in line and waited about 20 minutes which was not that long. There was a lot of people in the AT&T store waiting to be helped. I wanted to upgrade my iPhone 4 to a 6. Jr. answered all my questions about all the fees. He even got me the screen protector and a nice case for my phone. He transferred all my contact info and pictures on to my new iPhone 6. Such a great phone. His customer service was excellent and he was very patient and kind. He even got me a few discounts. It took a few hours for everything to be set up which I did not mind. I wanted my phone to be set up properly. I think Jr. was very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about. Awesome customer service. I think I will be coming here for all my cell phone needs. Ask for Jr. He's a great and friendly guy. It was a pleasure doing business with him. Went in this store to get accessories for our phones and since they're brand new of course we'd have couple of cases to choose from. We asked for help from the guy named Alex to take off the phone case my sister tried on because we couldn't do it, it was so hard. He then came up to us and made a comment after seeing the stuff we had on the table, he probably didn't want to get disturbed bc he was on his phone when we called him. The whole time he was helping us he was just frowning and it looked so obvious that he was annoyed. Of course, as a customer you would not want someone helping you with an expression like that, good thing another employee came up and helped us to finish the transaction. This place deserves ZERO stars, but I guess I'll settle for 1 star since AT&T's corporate customer service is ok. When I went on Mother's day weekend to buy my mom a phone, I asked the person helping us to take off the internet on the phone since my mom has no need for internet on her phone. The guy, Juan said it was no problem, and then had to get a "manager" Emilio to help. This manager stood there for 30 mins with Juan and finally said, we have taken the data off. I confirmed again, this is not a smart phone, correct? They said no and data is disabled, so I took their word for it. A few days later when we logged onto our online account to pay, we see not only a data plan for this said phone, but the most expensive data plan available. I called customer service to let them know what happened, and they said it was indeed a smart phone that required a data plan, but they told me I could return the phone within 30 days. We went back today, and told the manager what happened. Not only was she completely unsympathetic, she said the receipt says 14 days, there's nothing I can do. Well you are the manager, are you not? I told her the corporate customer service said 30 days, but she simply repeated the fact that the receipt says 14 days. Well hello - it was your incompetent employees' fault to begin with that we bought this phone, and it was only 1 day over the 14 day limit. Really? There's nothing you as a manager could do? Seems like all of the people at this store are pretty incompetent. Not only were we conned into buying a GO phone that required a data plan, the manager didn't even acknowledge her employee's mistake and she didn't even bother fixing it. THANK GOD the corporate customer service is better. Otherwise, I would leave AT&T all together. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE - they will lie through their teeth to get your money. read more

I'm new to att wireless. Was having a few issues with my Galaxy S3 watch. Timothy Chavez was a great great help. I had misunderstood some of the info I was given from 800 line. Tim worked with me thru all the issues. Was able to get my watch device working as an independent phone & wireless device. We even had to call technical support at one point. Tim could have easily said for me to talk to them and solve one of the technical issues. NOPE. Tim stayed there with me, even spoke to Melissa at the Att ProTech. Which I highly recommend. She was able to remotely connect to my Pixel 4. Together Tim & Melissa solved it and wallah, my watch is now working flawlessly. Also met Mikey the manager. He also helped out. Great experience. Great Service . I highly recommend this store , they also can service my devices as well. I highly highly recommend Tim Chavez for his courteous & professionalism. So my gf has been trying to get internet for her new apartment for the past 5 days and at first everything was squared away and settled, then AT&T tell her to call the next day which is a Sat and they end up not answering because they are closed. So she calls Sunday and they tell her they can't install her internet because the previous tenant hadn't cancelled their service there yet, which my gf had already discussed and squared away. Now AT&T changed their mind. They even hung up on her 3 times or would put her on hold for 45 min. Now my gf can only get AT&T because her assortment building has a contract with them and then AT&T have the nerve to tell her "why don't you get COX" like wtf. these assholes are just being straight assholes and have extremely terrible customer service. I would never in my life recommend this piece of shit company to anyone. I myself have COX and they get the job done no ifs, ands or buts. read more

I don't know if he's glued to that area of the store but he never came over to say hi and as I wandered the store I saw another hefty gentleman with a white shirt. There should be a zero star option because this is what Kathy- sales rep should get! Was conned into opting out of my current plan for the Next plan- don't do it! It is NOT cheaper no matter how many times they recalculate your monthly bill because by the time your monthly statement comes in your 14 day return policy will expire and you will be stuck paying a higher amount until your next upgrade! The cooperate office was able to redeem my unlimited data plan but I am still livid after seeing my bill statement every month. read more
