This is the worst experience I've had in a very long time. I was already here a couple weeks ago and purchased/transferred everything to a new phone and I'm literally just trying to drop off my old phone - I have been waiting for over an hour. I'm 9 months pregnant and told the only person working here (who finally came out of the back room with food in his mouth) that I'm not feeling well and will need to come back again, and would now just like to know how long I have to turn this phone in. He said I need to wait for that information and went back into the back room, I'm assuming to continue eating the bag of chips he was walking around with. I would avoid this location and go to the strawberry location instead. They don't even acknowledge you when you show up. When I got here, there was only two other people. It still took them over a half hour just to acknowledge me. Then another employee showed up from the back and told me he couldn't help me look up my info because he didn't have a tablet on him. Told me to go to a different location and see if they can help me. Very poor service here. Had the worst experience of any service store in my life. Complete failure all around . Came in for two simple requests. How to complete removal from contract .( something we've been working on with phone numbers provided for 4 months ) and a request on how to get refunded for payment without service. They simply gave another number to call that did not work. I very calmly complained to a very nasty doorman and he called the cops ...YES! He was the aggressive one. Worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. First, made an appt. at 2pm. They did not get to me in until 2:30, don't make an appt. as it is first come. Second, the manager, I think his name was Ricardo, said that he was late for his lunch break and left. I was trying to upgrade my phone and the guy helping me could not do it. I was there until closing, and they said go home and use your wi-fi as the one here is public? The phones did not sync. In any event, I took the phone to apple the next day and they made the data transfer in 20 minutes. Then I went back to turn the phone in and they said have a seat it'll be awhile as there are people ahead of you. Mind you, I'm just turning the phone in. All they did were to make excuses, said my phone a 13 was too old, the new phone was glitchy, needless to say I'm done with ATT. They are woefully incompetent there. Good riddens. Who ever runs that store should be fired, and they should hire people that know the iphone product as these guys do not. read more

Waited 40+ minutes to return a charger from an online order, super inefficient system

I used to consider this place the least bad ATT store in my area. when it's good it's good. but when it's bad it's the 13th quadrant of HELL + added depravation. I learned a good lesson last time--whether you have an appointment or not, if a woman and her teenage daughter are storming out disillusioned when you are coming in...just bail. if the store has no ability to service a person ready to commit their next 48 months of cellular service to them, it's not going to go well for you either. And to my Boichik Bagel's Buddy, I came in happy getting my kid a new phone for her birthday, I was in a good mood. I didn't understand who does what and might have made faulty assumptions. But your issues shouldn't have been with me but with who put you in an impossible situation. read more

I've been an ATT customer for 20 yrs. No longer. Customer service reps do not have a basic and fundamental understanding of their own plans. There are additional issues which I won't prattle on about but after numerous store visits and calls to ATT customer service, I am done with the lack of knowledge and competence. Do better. My phone lines were hacked from ATT, identify theft occured with thousands stolen from me. I went to this store and their only assistance was to let me use their phone to file an online claim. It has been over a week and I still have no phone, no resolution, and ATT could not care less. I had to purchase a phone through another carrier to get anything fixed with my accounts. Super unhelpful. Waiting a week for a phone that was supposed to be shipped already. Tracking info doesn't even work. Was told my phone was canceled but why weren't we notified?? Haven't been refunded. Can't get customer service on the line at all, waited 40 mins and nothing. People in store kinda stand offish, not really sympathetic, well one guy was more standoffish and one guy was robotic and gave the same computer like response. Didn't feel really helped. Crazy because the process to get the phone was smooth and the lady that helped us gave amazing customer service (I wish she was there this week) so basically once you buy anything in store, and need it shipped because they are out of stock which apparently happens a lot, if anything goes wrong, AT&T the store cannot help, immediately it's call 611, they know nothing, they can't look into nothing, they are just there to sell sell sell and that's it. I went in for a free phone upgrade. The plan i had on my existing phone, which i wanted to keep, was eligible for the upgrade. Without telling me, the woman who helped me switched me to a plan that wasn't eligible, and put two $10 add-on's to the new plan that I didn't want. Trey deserves more stars than this allows, he helped both my husband and I simultaneously in the most thorough and informed manner. I lost my phone and needed to replace it with, and also an upgrade. He assisted in turning off my old phone, downloading all my information to a new phone, discussed AT&T fiber optics speed and installation, leaving us with helpful information to consider. This is about the abusive nature of your employee at the store in Corte Madera California. Aron was his name. Today, my appointment was to set up the transfer from my Samsung Galaxy to your new phone. Your employee was such a jerk, I asked to stop the session. I left with the objective left unfinished. Here's what Aron had to say, word for word. "I'm in sales. It's not my job to help you with the transfer to your new phone. You are lucky I am helping you this much." How hurtful. I'd travelled all this way to receive rotten conduct. On the AT&T website the choices include, "get help using or setting up my device." NOT TRUE HERE!!! I received no help and the guy was so abusive I had to leave. Owners, take a look at the video. I read the one-star reviews for this place, and thought, "It can't be THAT bad." It's that bad. I drive here on a Sunday, during business hours. Yelp says they're open. Web site says they're open. Sign in the window says they should be open. They aren't open. 12:30 on a Sunday. No "we'll be back" sign. No "closed due to illness" sign. Just...shut. Unbelievably atrocious and disrespectful customer service at this location!! The employee here called a lady shallow for being disappointed that nobody working knew how to help her with a very simple question about her galaxy phone. She was never disrespectful or rude towards the employee . She just asked that if there was anybody else that knew how to work on her Galaxy, for some reason the employee that was helping her talked down upon her so bad that she left to cry and I had to go out and console her, and I ended up helping her with her question! AT&T needs to do right and follow up with this and follow up with employees at this location. Avoid this store, was given a 30minute wait time which was reasonable but myself and 2 others who were being taken care of were the only ones in the store. Names were called and they didn't answer so the sales guy told me I was next. Then the folks who left their names but took off started to trickle in. Incompetent staff sharing misinformation resulting in lost customers and no refunds. I signed up for Direct TV and internet through the store. The technician missed 2 appointments (after I cleared my day) for internet install. I never opened the 2 tv boxes. Decided to cancel all together. The store called me several times to apologize which was nice. I told them I'm canceling service and the rep in the store said she noted it on my account- which I come to find out she never did. I was charged a monthly service fee which ATT is refusing to refund claiming I never canceled service. I also responded to the text saying cancel and the response was "sorry to see you go as a customer". How does the inability for the ATT systems talking to each other become the customers responsibility? Worse service ever. Never again . read more

I called this AT&T store to get help with my new service, and the woman "helping" me (I did not get her name) was EXTREMELY rude -- huffed when I asked her a question, talked to other customers while I was on the line waiting, and then ultimately abruptly put me on hold and kept me there until I just hung up in frustration. Do not come here. Seriously, don't waste your time with this store or AT&T. AT&T clearly does not care about the reviews for this store and the inept people who are "running" it and they clearly don't care about Customer Experience. After 2 horrible days with AT&T, I'm back with Verizon. I came into the AT&T store with the hopes of changing over my service from Verizon to AT&T. We waited for 40 minutes before meeting with a young woman who seemed more concerned about what we did for work than what we were there for. Without many questions, she switched my phone from Verizon to AT&T and just like that, my phone stopped working. When I asked what happened, she had some BS excuse about how my phone data was "now in the cloud". She said she assumed my phone was unlocked. Why would you assume when it's your job to ask questions? When I asked her to fix whatever she did, she told me I need to contact Verizon and it could take up to 3 days to restore service, or we could purchase a new AT&T phone. She didn't do her due diligence and because of her mistake, I have to go to Verizon and be without service until it's resolved, or buy a new phone. Why didn't she tell us this before? Because she was too busy asking us about what we do for work. As we're leaving, seething, she has the audacity to remind us of the "$30 activation fee that will hit our bill" when I was leaving with a dead phone. A service she didn't even properly activate. So off we go, back to Verizon, to figure out what AT&T did to my phone. There was no wait at the Verizon store in Corte Madre and the customer service rep gave us detailed instructions on what to do to fix the issue, unlike the incompetent people working at AT&T. Great first experience as a new AT&T customer. Fast forward two days later, my phone is now active on AT&T-- thanks to the help of the Verizon reps-- and suddenly, I start getting error messages before I make a call. Head back over to the AT&T store where I have the displeasure of working with "Store Manager" William. William pretends to be helpful all while wasting my time. As we're talking about my issue, he pauses me and calls his coworker over. They-- and I kid you not-- proceed to take a picture of themselves doing 'peace signs' in front of me. Losers. I am seething at this point but bite my tongue because he's suppose to be a "manager" who can help. He (like the other inept person) tells me he's seen this issue before and all he has to do is change my sim card. Perfect. But there's a problem (of course), I'm not listed as an "authorize user" on my husband's account (he's the account holder). So I contact my husband to get him to add me as an authorized user as quickly as possible so I can get out of this god-forsaken store looking at this disheveled wanna-be-manager. I sit, staring at this guy for about 10 minutes before I get tired of, not only looking at him, but wasting my time. As I'm leaving, William yells out "oh wait! I thought of another way"... He sat across from me for 10 minutes while I hounded my husband, and conveniently thinks of another way to get access as I'm leaving? What a joke. I left and immediately called Verizon to reinstate my service with them. If that's what my first few interactions are like with AT&T -- I'll pay more to get better service. My husband is switching to my Verizon plan at the end of the month. You guys don't care and we don't either. That store is a joke and is a representation of AT&T. I hope they know that. read more

The location is 1 mile from my house so I figured I would at least try - that it can't be as bad as all these reviews. Well, it is that bad. A 1-star review is generous. I left and went to another location (Strawberry, Mill Valley) at my visit was resolved in 5 minutes. The problem is clearly this location and the "manger" on the weekends. Worst customer service I ever had! Jennifer the manager absolutely no help. I went in with the I watch that is not charging and she put it on a charging station and then walked away didn't look at it didn't see what the issue may be was. And then when I told her it's still not charging she told me I could cancel my bill. Also I was there she reprimanded a staff member in front of a store full of people very embarrassing for him and everybody around. I am a restaurant manager and I know you should never reprimand staff in front of other people. We made an appointment and were greeted by Joe, who was very friendly, followed covid-safe protocols perfectly, and addressed our issues with patience and respect. That alone was huge as I have had my cell phone with AT&T for 30+ years and never once have I been able to access my account online. Every time I call I am treated as if I am a moron who doesn't understand passwords or cannot operate a login page. Joe was so helpful and respectful. He could see that the problem was with AT&T's connection with my account, not with my brain, which I appreciated. It took about 35 minutes, but we got my password reset, tested it a few times, and I was good to go. I had been at this place, almost, once before with a service person on the phone who proceeded to sell us a package of Internet and television services. The next time I logged on, I got all of the same error messages. That's why Joe had me stay and test things again and again. Also, when the installation person came to the house, we didn't qualify for what we were sold by the phone rep. So when Joe brought up the idea of switching to AT&T fiber optic for internet and television, we told him that it wasn't possible. But, he pulled up our address, a map, checked with his boss, did other due diligence, and determined that what we were sold before was only partially available, but he had a service that was. He explained it to us and it was better than what we had with Comcast and better than the previous phone rep had tried to sell us. He got his boss to approve a discount for our previous bad experience. We were so impressed with him, his professionalism, concern, and diligence. I highly recommend that if anyone has any needs for AT&T services or products, please see Joe in Corte Madera. He's the best! read more

Today I went to change my number, and the guy name Maximilian help me and told me yes I will help with this and get you new number. After a while he told me it was all set up and ready, but that I need it to call 611 and cancel my old number that the system didn't let him do it there. I ask him will there be any charges to me and he say no, he switch the sim card also and put a new one. So we left and I call the 611 and told them what they guy told me to do and who ever talk to me started to tell me the other guy open a new line ap they get commission and lie to me and if I cancel the old number I would be charge over 800 since I still owe for the phone. Just so pissed for something so simple this guy did all this to get a commission n mess me up and had to go to the store 3 times. read more

Went to get a new phone and the service at the AT&T Store at the Town Center was the worst I have ever experienced. The store was empty and you'd think they would be happy to have a customer and get a sale, but clearly they were not interested. They didn't have the model and color I was looking for and offered no alternatives or solutions. Just horrible. Customer service is everything. Worst service possible. Employee watches tv because he is on lunch. A line of people waits. Employees are not respectful to customers. I did not appreciate how the employee voice was raised to me when I question the service. I had an appointment at 3:30 and when I came in I asked if I could rescheduled for an earlier appointment. The attendee said sure, you are next. I waited. Your football tv employee finally got up and came to help. Quite an attitude. He told me he had an appointment before me.
