Fast forward 14 months later and the guy I putted my address incorrectly - didn't get my email for the account and now Verizon shows up on my three credit reports saying I owe $195 - for an account I used less than 24 hours and already paid for. To make matters worse I've twice Called the store and they are too busy to talk and don't return my calls. Turnover is high nobody I first spoke to is there to help me. Read all the fine print and try to get the person helping you to listen.

I was very nervous and stressed, but the team was extremely kind, patient, and professional. The manager and the whole team treated me with so much empathy that they managed to calm me down after almost four hours of stress. Through their kindness and sense of humor, they made me feel truly cared for. It wasn't just a simple thing they did -- they really made a difference on a very chaotic day for me. The photos were supposed to be held in the cloud in storage but were not. So Alex sent my phone out to another service, there was no communication for months thereafter, so when I called to see what the progress was with my phone and the photos being retrieved, Alex told me that the second service could not access anything in the phone and sent the phone out for recycling without asking me if I wanted it back. If they had asked me, I would have asked for my phone back and gone for yet another opinion before eliminating my phone or turning it over to some stranger, and not knowing if what was said was true. I had an appointment, got there early and still had to wait. But it's not the end of the world. I got an offer via text from Verizon. I called the 800 number and it was a little bit complicated so I decided I wanna sit face-to-face, and go over the terms. When I met with the representative, he was not familiar with that exact offer and suggested several times that I should go back and call the 800 number instead. My initial reaction was that I felt like I didn't fit the box of the customer they were looking for because I was looking for a specific program and had quite a few questions about how it worked. What I will say, is it's probably an issue of training. As a former sales manager of hundreds of people, it would've been better if they sat down and tried to understand what I was looking for and then explain what they could offer. It may have worked out that they got the Sale. Ultimately I did take the new plan when it was explained to me correctly. But the woman on the phone took a good 20-25 minutes answering all my questions. It was a win-win for both Verizon for me.

Once I had paid by credit card, he told me "acutally we do, but I just don't like to have to count it a the end of the day." No problem. Then he sold me a new case and camera protector for my new phone for a little oer $80. He installed the camera cover incorrectly, and consequently, it fell off the next day and was no longer functiional. The case for the camera also needed to be replaced because the buttons were so stiff that it took both hands to push them. I did not go back to the store for three weeks because i was out of town for the Christmas holiday, but when I did go bakc to explain, I was told that there was nothing they could do about the non-functional accessories because it was outside the two week window from the purchase date. Very poor customer service overall, although the person I was working with very apologetic and I know that he was just the messenger. The person who did initally help me heard the entire exchange, but did not come over to help or apologize but rather just sat at his table having a snack. I will certainly not purchase there again.
