My parents and I were due for upgrades on our phones so we stopped by the Covington store. Upon entrance, we were greeted and told someone will be with us shortly and within a min or two there was someone to help us. Both Holly and Cindy spent several hours with us (translating was involved as my parents don't speak English well and were switching from a Samsung to iPhones). Cindy the manager was even trying to get us an even better deal for our monthly fee on the tablets via Direct TV. We were set up with new phones, phone covers and 3 new tablets. Long story short, Holly and Cindy were very nice, super helpful and extremely patient through out the whole process (there was also another gal that briefly helped us and saved the day with my dad's phone so koodo's to her also). Great customer service!! Tika was so helpful and nice. While my phone was updating Tika went to help someone else so another customer service rep came to chat and keep us company while we waited. Horrible customer service, go a few extra miles to Southcenter or the Renton Landing. Trust me, with travel time and all, you'll get service before you would if you stayed in Covington. Thursday 11/13, myself, my wife and my son visited the Covington store. Waited for help for about 30 minutes. Didn't get a hi, be with you in a moment or anything. No dialog at all. Finally left about 7:05 pm, pissed. Went to feed my family and called AT&T to ask questions and register a complaint. Proceeded to go to the Landing store that same night. Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Was promptly helped, very satisfied. Bought an iPhone 6 this morning from SAMs Club. Went to The Landing this evening for accessories, again greeted as I walked in before the door even shut. The nice gentleman that helped me made a recommendation for a certain screen protector that they were out of. He checked his iPad to see if Covington had it, came up that they had 16. He called, we were waiting for a minute. It looked like he forgot about us cause his phone was in his hand. He saw my look of concern and he walked over and apologized and showed me his phone, it was on speaker and he was on hold for 10 minutes. He finally hung up and called back, he was put on hold again then was told they didn't have any. Summary of this experience, if I haven't been with AT&T for 20 years with no major problems, my experience at the Covington store would have made me look toward Verizon or another carrier. So I went there because I needed a new charger for my phone because I didn't want to drive to the iPhone store. My mistake. It was very overpriced. Then I also wanted to talk about getting a new phone for my spouse. It's AT&T right. Guess I was wrong again. My husband wasn't with me & I couldn't turn his phone off right then, but was going to bring him back later that day. Cassandra said they would just ship to me. So now I have to wait a WEEK to get it! When you order over the phone or on line they fed ex it & usually get it the next day - not when you order at the store. They send ups ground. read more

I've been to this store on 3 occasions. Only once have I had good customer service. Tonight I came in the store and was not acknowledged by any employees. Not even to put my name on their electronic waiting list. 4 other people were standing around also. Only 2 names were on the waiting list. After 15 minutes of no one even noticing me I left. I will now always go to the store in Auburn. Smaller but I have always had exceptional service. read more

AT&T has caused me a lot of stress. I have been back on forth with the loyalty team(today I spoke to a very unfreindly and disrespectful loyalty team member Erica @4:37pm). I spoke to a customer service rep who told me there was no case opened or closed on my account. She transferred me to the loyalty who said indeed there was a case opened on my account. I was charged a restocking fee on 2 phones although I returned only one phone via mail and the box was never opened. I was charged activation fees although I signed during a promo betweeen Oct5-10 and there were no activation fees. I was charged insurance on a line that I never needed insurance on. I was charged for a third line though I returned the phone and requested 3 times that the line be cancelled. I have a bill of $525. I have asked fr my bill to be adjusted but was told to pay the full amount and wait for my next billing cycle to get a credit. No I will not pay the full amount. I have traded in my phone in the switcher program. PAid off sprint but now here that it takes 2 to 3 months for AT &T to send me a cash card with my early termination fees. The entire process is stacked against the customer. Customer service is not key but milking a customer. I am disappointed I came to AT&T based on past positive experience now all I want to do is pay off my phone get it unlocked and go to a prepaid service with any other carrier but AT&T. I am sorry I switched and have had a bad experience with incompetent and disrespectful customer service people. The online customer chat folks are really professional but I guess that is the hook to get you in as a customer where you suffer terrible customer service. read more

Horrible. They oversold us on what we needed, then talked us into "insurance" We paid the insurance and one of tablets broke from DirecTV. Trying to do an insurance claim on this was a nightmare. First took tot the store and they were rude to me and said there was nothing they could do. So they gave me some card that had a website on it, but it wasnt helpful and didnt work for this device. I had to talk to 5 different people over a two week span and go the run around. Finally got a new tablet for a replacement, but then they charged me for it. I still have yet to have this taken off my account. They never honored my employee discount, I have had trouble with my phone that when I bring it in, they tell me that it is a one time glitch. The price they quoted me was lower than what I was charged. I have used ATT for a very long time, but am finally ready to ditch them because of my experience at this location. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! I've never written a review about any company before and my experience at this location has driven me to this point. 1 of the 3 reps were busy with the one customer that was in the store... the 2nd was giggling with her boy toy best friend and the 3rd rep was playing with the other customers 6 year old kid. The 3rd rep told me should would be with me momentarily (I guess playing with a 6 year old while her mother is being helped by another rep is more important) After 10 minutes (oh forgot to mention boy toy has left leaving the 2nd rep totally available) the 3rd rep finally comes over and claps in my face asking what brought me in??? Geeeeeee I don't know, I'm looking for customized cupcakes!!!! What do you think, maybe a new phone or 2??? Then to top it off............... while the 3rd rep is going over the plans as fast as she can the 6 year old jumps in between her and I and she cut me off to again entertain this little girl! She told me to come back in a couple weeks because she's assuming they will have what I want.......( yeah because she calls the shots) I am a sales rep and I would NEVER act this way at work towards a current or potentially new customer............
