I went to shop for OLED panels and to my surprise the models they had at video only were either higher quality than BB, or the same models were $200 less than BB. The knowledge these salespeople have is also top notch, knowing more than just the description but they had good insights on the OLED structure, nuances, and manufacturing updates each year. You don't find many folks that are this professional anymore. And I'm happy to have gotten my 2nd TV in 3 years from these folks. For years now my dad has been going exclusively to video only to get his tvs. Now when my grandfather's tv broke down I took him to the Federal Way location to browse around. The prices were much better than any other store and the tvs were definitely higher quality than what you could buy for an equivalent price in other stores. We were helped by Mason and he was truly just amazing. He walked us through all the 55" tvs in our price range and went over the different specs. We met with him 2 different days and each day he helped us narrow our decision to the Hisense. At every corner it seemed that Mason was trying to give us a fair deal and help mitigate the cost for my grandparents. I have only been to this shop like three times. Yet, because of the professionalism, knowledge, politeness, recommendation, and patience by salesman Jim, I ended up buying myself a new 2021 LG Nano75 55 inch Smart TV at $599 and also gave me a good deal for my 5 year product extended tv warranty of $80. He even assisted me in putting my large Smart TV in my back of my trunk. I am so surprised that not many customers shop there and it is located next to Home Depot and one block south of Costco. This shop has numerous 4K Smart TVs and I believe one oversize 8K tv, which I believe is at around 65 inches. This shop has a small selection of 4K HDMI cords, sound bar, and TV stand/TV mounts. I would highly recommend shoppers do research before buying any new TV, which is what I did. Has 30 day return policy and just keep your receipt. This shop has TVs mostly ranging from 32 inch to 85 inch. Price range is I think $150 to around $4000. read more

I have been in the market to buy a new TV for over a year now. The last TV I bought was in 2005! Yep, we were watching the same TV we bought from Video Only 13 years ago, and it was a plasma we bought from Video Only. By the way, the TV still works perfect. I just wanted something a little bigger, and updated. I did shop around, and really wanted a 65-75 inch screen. Our old one was a 50 inch. The salesman was quick to answer my questions. He actually sold me on a 65 Inch TV. I wanted the best bang for my buck, and boy did I get that. Not to mention, a 3 year warranty came with it. I also got a nice sound bar as well. I came in below my budget. The TV was easy to setup, and we were up and watching TV in less than 30 minutes (from box opening, switching the old set with the new set, programming the new set, setting up the base, to cleaning up the mess!) And let me tell ya!!! What a difference 13 years makes! Beautiful display, crisp and clean! Very happy customer!! I will be buying my next TV from Video Only. read more

Updating my review of this Video Only location. I had written off this business after an (almost) unforgivable visit last year. I was in the market for a new primary TV today and was content with ordering from Best Buy, but the dang VO jingle kept playing in my head, "You'll be sorry." So, I stopped by on the way to Best Buy. VO had what I was looking for (both TV and receiver, of which BB doesn't sell the receiver). The service was what I remembered (both early 2000s and 2010s): quick, A+, and no up-selling. In the end, I walked away saving hundreds compared to the best online prices, and a fat warranty to boot. I'd give 5 stars if not for the previous experience. read more

Before buying my television I did a little homework. I was looking to spend around $1000 and narrowed down my search to a Sony or a Samsung. Samsung because from what I have read it really delivers good value for your dollar, and Sony because I have been very happy with their products in the past. The main reason for my trip to Video Only was just to get a little more information about the tvs and to compare how much bigger the 40" is to the 32". Salesman comes up and asks if he could help me and I just let him know that I am looking at the Sony and Samsung and what size I should get. He shows me a 40" Toshiba 1080 that was on sale and close to the price of a 40" Samsung. I let him know that I kind of wanted to stick with a Samsung or Sony and wasn't going to buy a tv that day (last day of the sale). I swear it is like he just turned off. I wasn't going to get the Manager's Special, why give me any information on the tv's? He said if I have any questions just let him know, and walked away. I was so turned off and didn't learn anything. I ended up getting my television at Best Buy where they were not afraid to give me all the information I needed. The first thing out of the salesman's mouth was, "I'm not a high-pressure salesman, so if you have any questions, just ask." We were just looking at the difference in picture quality between a Panasonic and a Samsung, but as we were leaving he really starts laying on the "we only have 2" and "you can pay for it now and pick it up later." Once we got home we decided the Samsung really had a better picture and only $50 more than the Panasonic so I called and asked if I could put down a deposit on the TV. The person who answered the phone said yes so I drove back to the store. "The deposit won't 'hold it' hold it. Why don't you just pay for it now?" I asked him if they would at least call me to let me know if they sell it out from under me and he said to assume that the TV is mine. Today I was in the market for a new tv, as my last one I bought only five years ago died, it was an LG. Once again customer service at this location is top notch, the way it should be. I read a comment from another customer on here saying he had a bad experience and the lot was empty. I guess it was just a bad day for them as I've always experienced excellent customer service. Do not deal with the ASIAN salesman- he is a pompous ass! Go to their Tacoma location for a better deal, and experience........ I went in several times to Federal Way to price 3D TV's, and was comparison shopping and learning about the brands. The second time I went in there, he said I should be ready to buy since I come in there and look and never buy anything. Jerk- I was doing my research (I'm not committed to anything yet). I asked him for the best deal on a package, and he gave me a quote and answered a few questions. I asked him twice more if it's the best he can do, and he said there is no one out there that can come close. Cool, so I took the information and slept on it. I ended up in Tacoma and stopped by their location and priced out the same package, and lo and behold- it was 350.00 cheaper!!!!! WHAT! Of course I bought right then and there. The next day after it was all delivered, I went back to the Federal Way store to get some speaker stands- The same ASIAN pompous ass salesman asked if I was ready to buy- I told him I already did, at the Tacoma location because they had offered me a better deal. One that I couldn't refuse. HE GOT PISSED OFF, AND TOLD ME THAT I SCREWED HIM OUT OF HIS COMMISION!!!!!!!!!! HIS SALES MANAGER WALKED PAST US AND TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM THE OPPORTUNITY, THAT HE WAS HOSED OUT OF GETTING MY MONEY!!!!!!!!! I bought two tv's (52 and 42 inch), 2 surround sound system's and a blu-ray player. Needless to say, I spent a lot of money here. I also opted for the home installation because I was smart enough to realize that one of my surround sound system's was way too complicated for me to setup. The delivery and setup was fine until they walked me through using main, more expensive surround sound system. They said I didn't have enough wires and I would have to install the rest of it myself (hooking up the rear speakers). It took me a few weeks until I sat down to figure out what I needed to buy when I realized I had all of the right equipment, they just didn't want to cut some wire to run it through the wall jacks/plug-ins (whatever they are called), so as to avoid running wires from the front of the room to the back. I have never setup anything like a surround sound system and lacked the expertise needed to finish the job and I wish Video Only had finished the job I paid them to do (you do pay extra for the home installation). I think next time I am shopping for electronics, I will go with Best Buy. read more

Bought a 60 in tv w free blueray.. Which was backordered (the blueray)..which was fine.. 2 weeks later still haven't gotten a call, turns out they may or may not ever get them in.. I can now either wait til maybe some come in.. Wait til maybe they get an upgrade and if I call at the right time I might get it or waste my time going into the store to get $100 back so I can go elsewhere and buy one. Ugh. I also purchased a tv stand that they didn't notice on the invoice so had to bring the next day. Love the tv.. It was the same price as amazon..but they would deliver and set up for free. Which would have been great if they had delivered everything I ordered. Good thing I had someone there to get my delivery, I would have been extremely angry to have to take two days off because they can't read invoices. Got jerked around for 1/2 an hour waiting for "manager approval." To return an unopened TV purchased on a credit card. Not asking for cash, not asking for anything special. Is this a franchise?! Why does it take an act of congress to return something from another store? The store associate was nice enough but the "policy" is stupid and not customer friendly. I've purchased in the past from this location and recently purchased from another. The one thing I can say is its like buying a car. Don't pay full price. Prices here are similar elsewhere. They will make the statement it's not the "same model" for instance with Costco. It is, just a slightly modified part number to identify Costco's from everyone else. I found that OLED tv my husband wanted for his birthday for a huge discount. I searched online, best buy, and fry's; they all sold the tv for the same exact price: $2500. I even noticed that when a price would change for one seller, it would change for all of them. So I was about to shell out the $2500 when I accidentally stumbled into video only. I was trying to kill time. Surprising to me, they were offering the tv for only $2000! It was the exact same model and new in box (not some kind of open box or used tv). I don't know how they do it.
