I will never go to this store again. The people in there are rude and lazy, and do not want to help customers. When someone has to go in not once, or twice, but 3 times in less than 30 minutes because what you are telling them to do is not working, maybe you quit visiting with your co-workers or get off your phone and help the customer. When you have to ask for the manager to get help, then you are not doing a good job. I will never go in this store again. Went in to upgrade my phones, but they were also offering a $500 incentive if I changed my cable to Direct Stream. I never received so I called for an update and they have no record of it! If your changing your cable make sure you have it in writing! read more

I went to this store to upgrade my phones to a iPhone 12 and I was told they would not sell me two phones because my wife and I are on ATT prepay plans!! They said they can't sell prepay phones. Yet there are no differences in att phones which is a lie. The truth is the phones they sell are to are to get customers to buy phones on contract payment plans only!! Just left the store to buy a new phone and transfer an old phone (during Coronavirus). The store was pretty empty so we got helped immediately. Our sales rep, Allen, was fantastic! He was super knowledgable, friendly, and best of all, efficient. He seamlessly multi-tasked the entire transaction and even told us how we could save decent money by making a small donation to the American Heart Association. I visited this store on the afternoon of Monday, March 11, 2019. I ended up leaving after being in the store for at least 10 minutes. Neither of the two male employees greeted me or acknowledged my presence during that timeframe. They were both busy helping other customers and there was another family waiting around as well. I had enough time to look at all of the phones, hold several up to compare models and to decide which phone I wanted. At that point I was ready to give someone a quick sale and be on my way. I waited around for a few minutes and after realizing that neither guy was even going to acknowledge that I was there...I left. As I drove away to go another location, I noticed the other family that had been waiting longer than me were leaving as well. And guess what, we both pulled into the same location about 10 minutes later and had a completely different experience. I've always done business at this location for well over 5 years but they've definitely loss my business now. Do yourself a favor and go to Barker Cypress @ Cypress North Houston location. It's not a "corporate" location but you would never know the difference. I only knew because they told me after I let them know about my experience here. read more

Save yourself the trouble of going in if you have a problem w your phone. Apparently they're trained to sell and nothing more. I never got past the front door. They took my number to get a call from Tech Support at a scheduled time. They called promptly, but advised they were the wrong group so transferred my call.... then, I was cut off. I just made an appointment w Geek Squad at Best Buy. Frustrating that I bought my phone from this very store that blew me off. I'll buy my next phone at Best Buy. Awful customer service. Absolutely zero help when I walked in to explain my phone had been broken. Explained situation. Gentleman offered no resolution. Said I could only buy a new phone even though I had insurance on my plan. Next day went to location in Fairfield and had a completely different customer service experience. Young lady was so helpful, utilized insurance and got our plan upgraded and saved us money. Erik was a motivated young man who helped me in an efficient and friendly manner. He helped me set up my FirstNet account. He was able to obtain the proper information needed if he didn't know the answer and he remained eager to set me up with an account. Although the other Atnt store off Fry and I-10 couldn't help me, Erik's 'can-do' attitude and efforts came through to prove that this store has potentially good customer service. read more

I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T at this location 290 & Rosehill in Cypress TX And at the time they had By one iPhone 6S get one free except it wasn't really free but $650 credit toward the supposedly "Free" iPhone 6S There were numerous trips to this store due to that so many AT&T employees was there and every time I come in , most of the time different person assisted me. Than in 2020 on one of my 6S's slow down due to deterioration of its internal battery so Apple sent me to Simple Mac in Cinco Ranch Katy to replace it , which more resulted that I needed whole display changed . But the Simple Mac tech discovered that my 6S was used / renewed phone which later led to discovery of that AT&T has sold me used one iPhone 6S as brand new . So this discovery wasn't pleasant but thankfully I had switched back to T-Mobile about two years ago . Thanks AT&T for making me distrust you . read more

The sales persons in this store are junks. that sold me a prepaid plan for $30/mon claiming it's free to call Mexico and Canada. after paying for $30 plus $15 activation fee for a new SIM car, I found i wasn't able to call Canada at all. I asked the representative for help and he just said he didn't know why. Asked for refund and he rejected. I complained that they gave me false information. The representative just gave me an ugly face and threatened me to be careful who I am speaking to. So next time you decide to go to this store think about your safety. While asking questions about buying a new iPhone 11 for my daughter he told me to be quiet not once not twice but 7 times! I have never been treated with such disrespect from anyone ever. It is sad to hear AT&T is closing offices and retail stores. But I hope that it raises the quality of service at this store. We were hit with a "bait and switch" that would have made a confidence thief proud. We were told my wife's old phone was eligible for a trade-in that would reduce future monthly billing by a total of $600, if we could make one repair. When we returned two weeks and $85 later with a repaired phone, a different saleperson repeated the sale/trade-in offer, and we accepted the terms. We took both phones so we could transfer data to the new device. A few days later, when we returned the old phone, we were informed by a third salesperson that they had never offered that kind of trade-in deal, and the best we could get was a $60 credit for the phone. read more

First time in and was looking for Apple earbuds. They don't carry any apple earbuds like they use too. They now carry their own type which don't even have the same port that Apple products need so you would have to make two separate purchases just to use their new AT&T earbuds. This is not my 1st time to complain about this store. It's a shame that it's got so much access to 290 and other businesses, but yet the guy inside, Tony, with the skunk colored beard, ruin it for everyone. This is the 4th time in 2 years I have complained of him. He is nothing but rude and inconsiderate and basically says have customer service do it if you prefer to call them. Any time you walk in there and tell them that you have talked to customer service he turns his nose up in the air and basically escorts you out of what he calls his store, ir lets you sit there until every other person and phone call is attended to. This guy needs to go. Cypress area likes manners. we do not like rude and arrogant people that act narcissist to us when we're trying to get help. AT&T is not the easiest to deal with to begin with but then when you add on fire like Tony, it's a lose lose situation. Day 2. Apparently technicians that came out to install direct tv ONLY, installed a new uverse acct. We as already have one. That's theft to at&t and to me! The store will not listen to what corporate is instructing them to do so they can waste mor of my time. Going on 12 hours total with phone and in store visits. This place is a joke. After arriving they took my number and I was told by the lady manager to stay in my vehicle while they assisted other guest. I asked if I could wait inside and look at the devices. She then told me to go to my vehicle or she would have to get the Sheriff deputy. Why would she say this? I was just asking a question and was not rude. After waiting in my vehicle for over an hour and noticing roughly a dozen people walk in, I went back in to check my spot and was told they forgot about me and had to put me back on the list. I asked the guy to put me on the top of the list since I had been forgotten about and he said yes and asked me to wait inside. We waited inside for about 20 more minutes until we had enough. There were more people being helped afterwards. I hope a regional manager reads this and does something about it. This is ridiculous. There was one worker who after he helped one guest when I got there, started to joke and talk with the deputy and what appeared to be the deputy's girlfriend for the entire time I was in the store. read more

I brought an iPhone in that I bought from ATT and says to call Apple if I have a question. These actions just fall right in line with the terrible expensive service that ATT offers. Extremely disappointed with the customer service from this store. I went into the store and purchased 2 iPhone 7 plus with a plan. I added the insurance family plan on their as well. Just my luck the phone breaks and what do you know, they tell me there is no insurance coverage on the phone. We go back up to att to ask then what the deal is. They said in fact no insurance was installed on the plan but they went ahead and added it. Gave me a number to call and file a claim. I did this and what do you know my claim gets denied. Fabian was great!! I purchased an Apple Watch with cellular elsewhere and after arguing with 2 AT&T phone techs and my cellular still not working, I decided to go to the store. Fabian was able to help me out and realize the SIM ID was recorded wrong and that's why it wouldn't work. After he fixed it in the system, bam NumberSync started to work. Assisted me in making possibly the worst decision of switching from Verizon to ATT. I'm lucky I even have enough connection to post this as I constantly get "kicked off the server" from my cell phone, or at times, webpages won't simply even load for a good hour. If I could give this company negative stars I would. The employees are useless, I am trying to pay off an installment plan and AT&T has gotten it all screwed up. I did the 20 month plan for $47.50/month, simple math one would think, but not for this company. I have spent at least 6 hours on the phone trying to fix this issue but still not fixed, so the CSR said to go to the store, and that did not work out at all, went in knowing I owed $142.49, left with the incompetent CSR saying I owed ove $300. But AT&T shows they owe me a credit of 332.49??? I am switching. read more

Helped us tremendously. We shed some fat from our bills, swapped to Direct TV for NFL Sunday Ticket, and got a hardline added. Charged my bank account twice immediately for a pre-ordered iPhone (was told I would not be charged until the phone shipped) and can not get anyone at the store or AT&T to reverse the charges, even after I cancelled the order. Less than 1 year ago our family purchased 4 new Apple I-Phone 6's and accessories at this location (BTW...customer of AT&T for years!). Today I stopped by to exchange the AT&T car charger that no longer works and was told they could not locate the charger purchase in their computer so they could not exchange it but for $30.00 I could buy another one. I stated to the CSR as a customer whom had been with them for years as well recently bought 4 new phones and has monthly service with AT&T it did not feel like very good customer service so when leaving I turned and said to the CSR please tell your manager I do not feel good about this and BTW who is your manager...Well amazingly the manager had been standing off to the side listening to the entire conversation (not saying a word or attempting to help) said I'm the manager, so again I stated my dissatisfaction and he said "We Follow Policy" I said so your policy can cost you customers and you just don't seem to care. I left saying so I'm walking out of here and you just do not care...He says VERY SARCASTICALLY "Yea, have a great day sir". So I will have a great day but will let everyone I can know how AT&T representatives at this location treat customers! read more
