Juan Morales took very good care of me and my needs. He walked me through each of my challenges (internet, television, 4 cell lines down from 6, and another line already with ATT). My husband died so I wanted to change my phone acct. Between apple and ATT I went 6 different days! Finally I had nice customer service call with ATT then was told to head to the store. First issue was I wasn't told to bring a Death Certificate, I did ask to talk to a manager and when they realized I was sending the phone back we moved on. Next I get the new phone, I questioned Jose R. that the GB (it was lower) I was told it would be "fine" HA!!! Even after the transfer finished he said it would be "fine", by midnight my phone was freaking out. Went the next day and was told the phone didn't have enough memory!!!! Couldn't even start the transfer without deleting some stuff. Got a different deal and redid process. Then they charged me a $55 RESTOCKING FEE!!! I told Jose R that next time he should look closer at the memory. He started yelling in the store with customers and employees Saying I yelled at him and his manager the day before - Yes, I was upset about the death certificate, then he said "I demanded" that phone!!! I said, no I questioned you at the time about the 128 GB, He was walking away and said he was at lunch!! No employee came to ask anything about the transaction!! They added a second line without telling us. Called customer service and they told us to go to the store. Went to the store and they credited the account activation fees but never cancelled the second line. Now we have the run around for a 4th time to get this situated..... I'm beyond upset. Horrible Experience with AT&T - Never Again! After 17 years as a loyal AT&T customer, I'm done. This has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience imaginable. I upgraded four phones as a surprise for my kids, only for AT&T to ruin it by sending each phone a "How do you like your new device?" text before I had given them their gifts. To make things worse, two of the phones arrived with the wrong storage amount. Returning those phones was an ordeal--it took forever for them to acknowledge receipt, and I couldn't even get replacements until they did. Fast forward to today: I was told the phones were received, so I drove to the store to get the replacements, only to be told they couldn't confirm receipt after all. Instead, they claimed the installments had already started, leaving me stuck. The employees were shockingly unhelpful - Naza, Juan and especially Isabela, who was outright rude. After waiting over 45 minutes on the phone with customer service (in the store!), I needed help asking the right questions, but Naza, who was assisting me, had disappeared. When I knocked on the employee door to get assistance, Isabela came out, scolded me for knocking, and told me Naza was on lunch and had done everything he could. She was dismissive and rude, leaving me to figure it out on my own. This is unacceptable customer service. AT&T clearly doesn't value its long-term customers, and this location in particular is a nightmare to deal with. I can't wait to switch to a provider that actually cares about its customers. Avoid this store and AT&T in general if you want to save yourself the headache of dealing with a store not even worthy of 1 star! read more

The people there are very nice, but ATT's "Teacher Discount" is a dead-end gimmick. I teach full-time at an accredited university and I have plenty of proof. My discount was revoked two weeks after I started service because I did not respond to an email I never received. Their website sends me in circles when I try to address this. I don't know what I can say that hasn't been said. Wife has had AT&T for the 11 years we've been together. I wanted to get her a new phone, website wouldn't let me get a new phone saying there's a balance even though it says balance 0 on the payment screen (there's no balance, I pay the bill). Went to this store after breakfast to get her a new phone since website sucked. Person came out took our name and number said they'd be with us. After a 40 minute wait and them helping people who came after us we left. Funny thing is I was looking at family plans and was gonna upgrade service and get myself a new phone also. My theory is they only want to help who they feel they can get a better commission from. Well you had me in the store trying to spend money and upgrade plans and you lost that completely. There was employees popping in and out of the back the whole time and helping nobody, it's almost comical how bad the service is/was. Only thing AT&T had going on was they had exclusive iphones, well they don't anymore even though they act like it. So I will redeem the T-mobile flyer that came since I had them years ago and will never spend another dime on AT&T again. I recommend others do the same. read more

Manager couldn't even do his job to close an account in the store. All he did was call customer service after they had sent me into the store because it couldn't be done over the phone. 55 minutes and I'm still in the store on hold with their own customer service line because this place doesn't actually care about customers they just want to sell products. All I want to do is cancel an account from a previous residence since they don't service my new area and they cannot or will not. Who knows. Terrible service as usual. Fun follow up: phone CSR was intent on selling service to the new residence despite protests that I had already called and attempted but service was unavailable. She spoke through me anyways then told me I needed to Mail the equipment back myself because the store is not responsible for their own equipment and I would be charged $150. The first woman I spoke with spoke such little English at such a low volume I couldn't understand any of her rambling and she never stopped talking even interrupting. Been a customer of AT&T for mobile phone for more than 20 years....either Uverse TV & WiFi (or Direct TV) for at least 11 years....I spoke to them last weekend to try to see what we could do to lower my monthly payments (over $4K per year) and was told....they could discount me $5.00 .....ummm your kidding right? Nope! They seriously said $5 off after I've been a customer forever basically. I asked to speak to a manager and that person said the same. I said please tell me the ending of my bill cycles for each (TV service, WiFi and Cellular) they told me and I said then on those dates one by one shut my service off...to which they replied...ok. I'm sitting here thinking to myself. Good job man! You finally cut the cord! I put a stop to the years of being overcharged. I also reminded them that they have been discounting my cell service now for three months because the courts determined that they were overcharging their customers (cell phone service) for too many years so they had to provide me some money back. Wow what a dummy I am for sticking around as long as I did. I'm running to Verizon for a lot less and if AT&T buys them I will put a string between to empty cans and begin using that instead of putting up with AT&T. As far as my service for television I'm jumping to UTube TV which is awesome and so much less money than AT&T!! Please people....do a little research and save a ton of money. read more

Recently had an issue with an order from AT&T. Called AT&T and after talking to them for about 30 minutes I was instructed to take the phone back to the store and have them order me a new one. When I got to the store I was approached by KITHZIA (kit) so They activated the new phone so my old phone stopped working and they didn't have the new phone in stock so my advisor and the manager were working on it. I was at the store for an hour and the advisor told me the deals on accessories and phone cases I was told if I buy two phone cases I will get a charger for free. And not only to find out that they couldn't help me with my return but she told me that she can't honor what she told me and give me that deal and give me attitude and so I left. AT&T as a whole is a joke. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have had an account with them twice and both times have been terrible. My account is always in good standing so it isn't an issue of pricing although their pricing is high compared to their competitors. They make it impossible for you to get rid of them. I have moved over to Direct TV against my better judgement but the DTV employees have been so kind and helpful so why not give them a try. I was told over the phone to return all equipment to ANY AT&T store, start with the one near Ash & Valley PKWY was told to go here because it is a "corporate" store. Arrive here they tell me I must return it to a UPS store that they don't accept equipment. They also can't even tell me if my service has even been cancelled with them, doesn't matter that thy have merged with Direct TV and are now under one umbrella. I've dealt with Miguel today at this location and he wasn't helpful. He tried pawning me off on an 800# and then proceeded to lecture me about how getting my direct TV through DIRECT TV/ATT wasn't good, I should have come in to the store and had them switch me. I'm an adult and do not need a lecture on how to handle my life but thank you for that Miguel. I will NEVER EVER again do business with AT&T! read more

The time for the tec. to show was 1 to 3 pm sat. 6-1-19. Now I am on hold for the last 60 min. Still no at&t truck no phone call and still on hold. I can think of a better way to spend my day off. Experience: I used to love this store and how the employees helped me set up my new phones in the past but I guess that's not a thing anymore. I got a new phone and no one helped me set it up or understand it, and phones don't even come with instruction manuals like they used to. Shoot, my phone didn't even come with a CHARGER...I had to buy it separately (and everything is so expensive). I literally asked four store employees if they could help me understand something on my phone and all four told me they have iPhone so they don't really know Android. They left it at that without even trying. I was disappointed. Even transferring my contacts from an iPhone they had to have two or three separate employees come try to figure it out. I wish they would train all employees on Android and iPhone since they are selling those two mostly. AT&T is the worst internet and cable company I've dealt with in years. I would leave 0 stars if I could hit the post review button. They try every way to NOT help you closing an account down and try to make you stay as a customer. If they really cared about customers they would ask how to help and make that happen. I own a small business and only talk about info relative to a project. I never over sell, over repeat myself about customers' personal info, or make customers confused. My girlfriend and I have wasted over three hours on the phone with customer support. One specialist even got disconnected and never called us back after the dumb trick repeated our callback number two times. They are a shitty corporate company that only cares about money, never the customer. Should be the opposite viewpoint. The process of purchasing a phone is always a good one because they want sales and whatever commission they make. When there are problems with your phone then that's when the nightmares happen! I came last month with my mother to get her Samsung Note7 the day it came out. It was a great experience and better than when I bought my Samsung since an android user was helping us and he was a way better sales person since he knew the android device. The Note7 problems then started to happen. Oy! My mother thought it was going to blow up so she was always scared to use it. She got the text that she can get a loaner phone and blah blah. She went in one day and waited half an hour. She then left with the same Note7 because she didn't have a box! Can't they see she has a tiny bag?! There is no where that she could hold a box and I don't understand why a box is so important when they sold us a phone with multiple reports of blowing up. I made comments on their social media and received a fast reply. The social media on FB were great to us. They reached out to the store we went to so we wouldn't have any problems getting the loaner phone. They understood people who got the phone may not hold on to the box especially since we all didn't expect any of this mess from happening. So my FB messaged helped since it got this store to finally help my mom to give her a phone to use until the Note7 problems get fixed. Well I thought everything would be ok. She explained to me her experience which was horrible. She was there for 2 hours and they got her a phone which didn't have everything backed up and wasn't working. She had to get to the office but then went to the ATT near her office to get that phone working. I've learned from this experience to not trust the sales people at AT&T! I need to do my own research for whatever product I want. Also wait a month to make sure there are no problems with whatever phone I like because there are always problems whether it's a android or iphone. Horrible horrible horrible experience! read more

I'm not sure what's up with all the bad ratings, but I've came to this AT&T store twice and each time has been fine. "Oli" assisted me and brought my phone back to life after I thought it was dunzo last week. Even though my cell phone was still usable I browsed at some phones. He was friendly and honest which was cool as he was not pushy. I came back last night and was assisted by "Pierre". He was very nice and helpful from beginning to end. My new phone purchase ended up being entirely different from the one I was adamant on getting (I saw one I was all about a few months ago at the Carmel Valley AT&T). I got some accessories along with my new phone and the experience was fine. I'm happy my selection, and overall this store is a good one to meet your AT&T needs with a good selection of inventory and different promo deals, along with great staff.~ read more

The most horrible experience ever. We had a particular issue with the use of our service, so since we were in the Escondido area, he wanted to stop in to see if he could get some assistance. Keep in mind, we had our 3 kids, with our baby being a month old. We pull up and park right in front, and see a couple of workers talking outside, and a handful of them standing at the entryway table. I stay in the car with kids and observe as the Hubby talks to them and then all of a sudden disappears into the store. He is in there for 15-20 minutes. All the whole, I see the workers talking, laughing, going out to smoke etc. My hubby finally emerges and gets in the car shaking his head. Basically, the workers brushed my hubby off and told him to call Customer Service, instead of even trying to help him out. We could have done that from the comfort of our own home, but we thought a rep could be knowledgeable. Needles to say, we were not happy with our service. We went to a location closer to home, and at least the rep there took the time to help us (and he was the only rep at that location). read more

As a family of first responders, we all switched over to AT&T to take advantage of their first responder offer event a couple months back. Since then, our bills have been incorrect (not what was promised) & we never received the correct credit for a phone that we turned in for credit (again, not what was promised). We feel extremely deceived & like it was a bait n' swap situation. We presented our findings to this location around the latter part of last week & after explaining our concerns to the customer service guy... he was clearly not interested in helping us remedy the situation. I then stated that I will be taking all of my business back to Verizon. He stood there completely cavalier & responded, "that's fine." No offer to remedy. No offer to get me to someone who can help. No call from their retention department. Nothing. So, back to Verizon we went! Great business model AT&T! read more

Frank at this locations needs some help. I tried to get service on my wifi hotspot and frank had a hard figuring out if my device is compatible. He then said it is but he had to upgrade my phone line service to add the hotspot which i didnt want to do. Then he proceeded to make a new acct in which he needed to do s credit check. I let him know my credits locked and he said it wont work so i unlocked it and he proceeded and still unable to do it. I left the location. I went to another att store. They were able to setup my router without running any credit check and made it really easy. Some employees truly like to help you and others just worry about their commission. I just need to RANT for a second about ATT lord help me because I have had enough of these people taking more and more money - shout out to AT&T for being hands down the worst prices, service, and customer service I have ever dealt with. The fact I have to result to blasting a business on fb is enough said. ANYWHO here we go.... From 2018-Present I have had ongoing issues with ATT. Recently, ATT (05/24/2019) alerted me that I was due for an upgrade on my line. I went into the store to receive the upgrade and instead of upgrading my line, they added a third new line to my account. NOT to even mention i brought in my great condition iphone 8plus for a rebate....never even got the rebate credited! they said "you can get 350 for this phone towards the upgrade" ok sweet lets do it i HAND THEM THE PHONE....never got the credit or rebate! This line has a designated # and i did not get any sim card or phone for this extra line that they charged me for. For the last year I have been paying for an extra line that i did not give ATT permission to open a brand new line with a brand new phone. It was only suppose to be an upgrade. They put my current number/sim card into the new phone thus making it impossible for me to cancel any line..in order for me to cancel my line they want me to pay off the device, pay early cancellation fees, and then pay what they called an "inconvenience fee" for wanting to leave in the middle of my installments. AUG 2020 - i canceled a line with ATT that had a phone stolen. I bought a phone for my nanny/roommate and the phone did not get returned. I contacted ATT insurance company to report the phone stolen. Next months bill comes and they are still charging me for this damn phone, so i call ATT and they are making me charge out $400 in order for me to pay off device and cancel the line. At the end of the day i pay them the $400 on top of paying my $235 monthly phone bill...$635 !!!! THEY NEVER CANCELED THE LINE! Still to this day they will not help with that line with the stolen phone at all Finally they froze the line due to inactivity and i had to keep suspending the line to avoid being charged.. I get the occasional service rep that says "hang on i am going to waive your fees" Thus putting me on hold for 30 mins sometimes almost and hour then hanging up./ Anytime I call or try to settle the debt they add on more off the wall charges & then telling me "its not our responsibility you need to handle this" NOT ONCE has ATT done anything to help navigate through this instead ATT will shut my service off (12 days before my bill is due) I pay the fees thinking it was MY fault and then 3 days later i get yet another bill with more charges and more "fees" that have miraculously came up. I have been a customer with ATT FOR YEARS now and have never had issues until the last 2 years. My phone needed an update, I didnt want to update so i kept ignoring the cellular update and had to have ATT reinstate my service and pay a $35 fee all because i wouldn't updae the phone (not even kidding) SO now, I have had to type this up on fb, report a legal claim against ATT, and then contact the BBB and file a complaint because I refuse to fork over $1200+ to leave ATT when I have been trying to leave them for the last 6 months. Anytime I try to leave there's a new charge, a new hidden fee, and a new reason of why I am stuck. GOOD RIDDANCE - thank you again AT&T for the ridiculous amount of money you've taken from a pregnant mother of 2(yes i will pull that damn card)...end rant. read more

I went to the store to upgrade my cell phone service to a new plan and I had experienced the worst customer service in this AT&T store. Rudeness and disrespectful behavior here is so unbearable that I couldn't tolerate in my short visit to this store. They try every way not to help me on my simple request of upgrading the plan.
