The battery you had for me was much better quality, higher Cold Cranking rating and higher reserve power. I've been a Volkswagen owner for nearly 20 years, and this has been, without question, the worst…read moredealership experience I've ever had. I had a great car-buying experience at first, but unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. My first service visit started with the dealership ordering the wrong part. Mistakes happen, but it was the beginning of a frustrating pattern. When I returned to have the correct part installed, a technician accidentally ripped the driver's seat. It then took over three months for the dealership to provide a loaner vehicle so they could repair the damage they caused by patching over the rip. The repair lasted only a few weeks before the seat ripped again. Now, more than a year later, they're still refusing to replace the damaged seat cover. The Service Manager's only solution is to patch it again--which would only conceal the rip, not actually fix it--even though the first repair already failed. I don't have time to keep bringing my car back every few weeks because of a problem their technician created. To make matters worse, replacing the seat cover properly will cost over $800--a bill I'm now expected to pay myself because the dealership refuses to take responsibility for damage caused by its own technician. That's simply unacceptable. This was a brand-new car that their employee damaged. What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability. Had they simply taken responsibility and replaced the seat cover, they would have earned a customer for life. Instead, they chose to save a few hundred dollars and lost a customer who has been loyal to the Volkswagen brand for nearly 20 years. I'll never return to this dealership, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Based on how this situation was handled, I'd also think twice before doing business with any Mossy-owned dealership. Customer service isn't just about selling cars--it's about standing behind your work when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here.
