On the positive side, the in-store experience was pleasant. I knew exactly which TV model I wanted, and the salesperson was friendly and efficient in getting everything checked out and scheduled for delivery. My only feedback on the purchasing experience is that the store prominently advertises "lower in-store prices" on every page of their website, yet I discovered after my purchase that I had paid more than the online price. To their credit, the manager refunded the difference when I pointed it out, but the website claim feels disingenuous and highlights a communication gap within the company. The real issues began with the TV mounting service. When purchasing the TV, I made it clear I did not need any outlet run or extra electrical work--just a straightforward mounting. Unfortunately, the installers drilled unauthorized holes in my accent wall and ran the TV's power cable behind the wall in a way that violates Fairfax City electrical code (NEC 400.8 is clear on this point). While they insisted this is "common practice," it's still a liability issue and something that should have been discussed with me first. Especially when drilling holes into a customer's accent wall where an unsightly wall plate was not wanted. Additionally, the wall plate installed under the TV was secured improperly--directly into drywall instead of using a bracket--meaning it will eventually loosen and fall out. For the hole they drilled behind the TV, they installed no wall plate at all. They also left the work area messy: drywall dust on the mount, dusty handprints on the back of the TV and the power cable, and marks on my freshly painted accent wall. Most disappointing, they scratched the back of the TV on both sides while installing the mounting rails. While the store refunded the installation fee after I raised these concerns, they never truly acknowledged the poor workmanship or the code and liability issues their install practices created. I spent far more time fixing the aftermath than I would have if I had mounted the TV myself--and my TV now has blemishes that reduce its resale value which the store also refused to acknowledge. Overall, while the purchase started well, the installation was the worst I have experienced. A company's true colors show in how they respond to legitimate concerns, and unfortunately The Big Screen Store fell short. I hope they take this feedback as an opportunity to improve communication, installation standards, and accountability.

They told me they still don't have the claim available. I asked them how long it usually takes for claims to come in. The employee told me an hour....sir it's been two hours. I've been trying to fix my phone for three days now and all they do is give you the run around probably until you don't show your face anymore. Seems like they have too many claims to handle for 2-3 employees. Mind you I pay monthly for insurance so I expect way better service and quicker service. I just need a replacement because that's what the employee told me they do for broken mics. I just want to fix my phone so I can upgrade my phone and get out of yalls hair. Employees are nice but seem lost and misinformed. Customer service needs a lot of work.

I pay my first payment with a card $254. Then try to my credit card on my phone. That card is strictly credit . I don't have a pin. Well it doesn't go thru so he says hit cancel and try again. I try again and it doesn't go thru. I tell him we will have to cancel the transaction until a further time. He tells me well I'm not sure if I can do that. Let me call help desk. He calls the help desk and says they canceled it. But he then shuts down the work register. He never gave me a receipt, email or any type of cancellation form. He told me oh you weren't charged. But I check my account and I was charged $254. I only have some type of register log saying I spent $254. I've been shopping at GameStop for 15 plus years. Never have I ever got done bad this way. This guy constantly kept slamming stuff and being angry with me when I did nothing. I'm a customer. I've never been so scared to go back to a store. I just want my money back and I'll never even visit a GameStop again . This is for 10 year old nephew whom my brother sent me to go grab. He's now out of $254 and my nephews birthday gift has now been sold. Like what do I do now? This is messed up
