I just went in to the store. I don't know why I keep trying to give them a second chance and a third chance in a fourth chance, but the customer service here is horrible went in looking for iPhone 7 Plus Pro Max. The phone was not charged and the associate did absolutely nothing to try to even show me the phone. Asked her about the AirPods. She said they don't have them. I said do you think Apple have them and she said I don't know they're inventory I wasn't asking about inventory. I'm assuming they have the AirPods because their Apple Store but the customer service here is a waste of time so go to Apple Store in pentagon city or Tyson. It has taken me almost a week to calm down and not write an expletive ladened review regarding my visit to the AT&T Sore in Baileys Crossroads. I went in last Friday to purchase the new IPhone 13 pro max, AT&T was offering up to $1,000 dollars for my IPhone XS Max, in perfect condition, how could i not trade it in and only pay an additional $100 for the 13 pro max. I informed the Associate, the only thing I wanted to upgrade was my plan and to incorporate existing discounts I had in place, had to gently remind him more than once. Associate and then the Manager tried to HARD SELL ME additional items, such as DIRECT TV and special, buy two generic cases and receive free generic charging cable. First off I only use Tech 21 Cases and have now need for new cable, if you want to sell me anything, include Magsafe charging cable. I totally own the mistake that really sent me over the edge. I did not carefully review the final paperwork until later in the day, i assumed the Associate would be honest and only upgrade the Plan, add the new phone and trade in, 36 months of refunds for approximately $27 per month. NO the rip off artist added in $15 per month for insurance and $5 per month for AT&T Next up without ever discussing them with me or asking if I was interested. Unfortunately Yelp hasn't implemented a negative star feature, because my experience at this place yesterday was easily, without question, the worst customer service experience since I've been customerin'. Ever. I'll refrain from getting into the details because just thinking about it re-boils my blood. It was so over-the-top bad that for a brief moment, I thought I was on a new version of "Punked" and I looked around for any hidden cameras. Apparently they will only sell you a phone on a payment plan in this store. You cannot pay full price. The associate said I can buy the phone on the plan, pay the first month's payment, and then pay it off. This would keep me under contract, which I don't want. I don't want to be under contract with them because I don't trust them. Why don't I trust them? Because of things like this. Plus, the associate was far more interested in selling me DirecTV than the expensive phone I was going to pay for in cash. I was able to do everything I wanted online and the phone is ready for me to pick up. I'll be adding to my review after I pick it up in Pentagon City tomorrow. read more

I had a horrible experience at the ATT in Pentagon CIty so I went to this location so that they could return my phone and upgrade properly. Skye who is the manager there was very helpful and patient. Avoid this place like the plague unless you want to be scammed! Especially avoid their MiFi product at all costs as it gives you barely any data and when you use it all (as you almost certainly will) the charges are exorbitant. Their sales rep on the phone even admitted their sales reps will tell you anything to get you signed up for the plan then will make it nearly impossible to cancel the service without paying a cancellation fee. It took me three calls and a visit to this store to get out of my horrible mistake of being conned into buying this horrible service. Save yourself a huge headache and avoid AT&T and MiFi unless you have money to burn and time to waste. read more

I had a horrible, terrible customer service experience with Freddie Cash at the Falls Church, Va, AT&T store. He called me a LIAR because I told him that I did not know the password for iCloud on a iPhone that did NOT belong to me. I asked for a different customer service representative and got the nicest, most professional, and knowledgeable Ms. Claudia. As for Freddie, he does not deserve a job involving customer interaction. He's the type of employee that contributes to bad customer service ratings for the AT&T company. I suggest he gets customer service training ASAP or takes the initiative to find a different line of work. I did report his rude behavior to the Sales manager, Mr. Bustamante who conveyed that he'd counsel Freddie. My girlfriend decided she wanted the new iphone. Her old one had seen better days. We had went to Best Buy the day before. She met with a sales person who took her info and said they would be right with her. 45 minutes later nothing. Her carrier was already AT&T so the next day we headed across the street to see if they were any better in helping us. We walked in and were met by Rob. It is not often you have a pleasant and positive customer experience these days. Rob was the exception. In 45 minutes he had the line transferred over the sim card set up, billing explained in clear detail and the phone ordered. It was such a smooth transaction for us. Rob delivered a level of customer service that is rarely ever encountered. I was sure we would be there for hours and leave annoyed. But not at all. Fantastic experience. read more

After being an ATT mobile customer for several years, I went to this location to upgrade my phone. I had received an advertisement with price for a specific phone. After waiting in line for 50 minutes, I requested the model from the advertisement, which was the same sale price as the model on the sales floor. The service person immediately said that he did not have that model in stock, but offered to sell me the next model up that WAS in stock. The model he was trying to sell was 100% more expensive than the one I came for. This is a classic bait and switch. I asked him to check other stores for this phone. We went in to upgrade our phones. Roberto greeted us at the door, and assisted us through upgrading our phones. He was honest and professional. He didn't try to sell us the highest phone or a bunch of accessories. He asked the type of things we would need from the phone and then provided us with a couple of solutions. Our upgrade did not take long at all. He switched my husband and I phones over from our old ones to our new ones and also installed the screen protectors in minimal time. HORRIBLE! I was hoping to come in, buy an accessory and get out... It wasn't the case! I have to be put in a long line of customers (12th) that required long transactions... I waited for almost 3 hours... Unfortunately they were the only ones carrying the accessory so I had no choice but to patiently wait... Definitely horrible experience... My husband and I just got out of this store today. He had given his name to one of their female staff (she was wearing white shirt). The store was pretty busy so my husband waited for over an hour, he finally asked one of the staff to see where he is at on the list just to find out he is NOT on the list. The girl who took his name already left for the day and the other staff who my husband asked for follow up basically did nothing and she was hesitant that we were really on the list so we just left. I went into this AT&T store on new years eve. I asked how much they would give me for my Iphone 5s. They checked and said they would give me $300. i said okay i will get it in exchange for the Iphone 6 Plus and pay the rest of the difference. Sadly, they didn't have it in stock with the GB and color i wanted so i said i would be back. I came back another time and they didn't have any. I came back today and they had only one left in stock (which by the time i was attended by an employee someone had already bought it). I told the employee that i wanted to trade in my 5s for the 6 Plus. He then checked how much they would give me and he said $185. i immediately said that previously they had told me $300. He said that price couldn't have been right and that it was not possible that it was only a week ago when i was told such price. That was when i got upset. For him to tell me that it was impossible. As if saying i was making it up. I even showed him who had helped me previously and had point blank told me that they would give $300 for my 5s. He did not even look to who i was talking about. And it was if he had not heard me. If they had simply told me that there was a deadline, i would not be so upset. I came home furious. I called AT&T customer support and asked for an explanation on my whole situation. The kind lady told me that it was a promotion that they had been giving for the holiday season. The associated at this AT&T completely failed to mention that for one. The customer service associate then went on to tell me that it expired on the same day i was told i would get $300. Furthermore, the AT&T associates who had given me the price of $300 NEVER said it expired that same day. Alas my confusion ceased. The AT&T associates at this specific AT&T really need to be informed of the companies offers and deadlines. It would be wise of them to make sure to ALWAYS inform their customers. I honestly thought the employee who was helping me had little to know knowledge of the offers/promotions the company had been giving out. I do not think i will coming to this AT&T again. Iphones are never in-stock and employees need to be know about the promotions and its deadlines. read more

First time here and came in due to issues regarding an upgrade that I did through Best Buy. Considering the not so favorable reviews I didn't really expect much, but all this turned around after this visit. I was helped immediately and, Ana, was amazing. She was courteous, knowledgeable and had me out of there in 15 minutes. Mind you I spent 25 minutes alone on the phone with a CSR just to have them tell me I needed to go to the store. This is the worst AT&T store. If I could give zero stars I would. I worked at AT&T for eight years and I know that employees are supposed to greet guests when they enter the store. I sat there for over 10 minutes while two representatives stared at me and nobody greeted me or bothered to take my name and get me on the list to be helped. All I needed was a screen protector and I know accessory opportunities are very valuable and I ended up leaving because I was so disappointed with the lack of customer service. Went in today with an iPhone question. I just updated my mom's OS and she couldn't remember her Apple ID password. I thought she needed it, so we went to the ATT store for help. We were greeted almost immediately, but when I asked about our problem the lady said simply that they couldn't help us. That the only solution is to buy a new iPhone (what!?). When I continued to question she said try the Apple Store. When I asked where the nearest one was she said Tysons and turned away to help someone else. Anyway, after a quick call to my husband, I found out that we could bypass that screen without an Apple ID password to get into the phone (and we could re-enter it later or change it in settings). It was so easy and quick. Anyway, the trip was a waste, the ATT employee unhelpful AND I found there is a MUCH closer Apple Store in Arlington. read more

They were very apologetic about the wait and very patient with my questions and extended the store hours a half hour to get what I needed done. My family came to this branch to have my wife's phone activated. We're 5 accounts with AT&T now on our 3rd yr. we've always come to this branch and ethnic evolution of staff is incredible from the first time we came in 2011 or so. Majority or about 90% of the staff are apparently hispanic but this didn't deter extending excellent service to these asians. Nasha was very patient and spoke eloquently in English. She looked stiff during the first few minutes but she gradually warmed up and smiled a great deal during the transaction. She was unquestionably knowledgeable and answered all questions that were thrown every 2 min. She offered good deals and options if we decided to modify our plans. She was cool and pretty, too and we look forward to being served by her again. read more

My aunt just walk out of their August 30 2016 5:30pm. She has a phone she wanted to unlock that was fully paid for. They told her "they don't unlock phones there" an proceeded to give her a phone number to call. Well the problem is she's an old Spanish lady that's not tech savvy. THATS THE WHOLE REASON WHY SHE WENT TO HER CARRIER TO ASK FOR HELP. Worst part is they where Spanish speaking employees and still her own ppl couldn't just help her with making that phone call.
