I would give this store and AT&T a zero stars if I could. Placed an online order, "ready in 2 hours" at 5:05pm on May 6, 2026. Called the Central Park Fredericksburg at 7:03pm to see if my order would be ready before the store closed so I could make my way to the store 30 minutes from my house. Spoke with a male store employee who informed me that they did not in fact have the phone and could not fulfill the order. Although he could see my order the system he could not cancel it. Advised me to cancel the order in the APP so I could reorder for delivery. I was unable to cancel the order in the APP or online. Spent the next 2+ hours being bounced around AT&T chat feature and on the phone with customer service to be told that there is no way to cancel the order. After speaking with 5 different agents, a Manager in the Loyalty Department told me they cannot cancel the order sent to the store. There is actually no way to cancel said order. She advised I wait until the store reopened at 10am on May 7th, contact them again, verify they had my order and could not fulfill it. If they cannot fulfill the order, I could reorder a phone for shipping because the line was still showing available for upgrade. Contacted the Central Park store again at 10:33 am on May 7th. Spoke with a second male employee who could NOT find my previous order in the system and said they can't fulfill the order if they could see the order because don't have the device. I can see in the APP and Online account, it's still showing that the order went to the Central Park Fredericksburg VA store but they cannot locate it. 10:52am per advice of the Manager in the loyalty department last night, I reordered a phone to be sent to my daughter in NC. Line was still available for upgrade. Order processed with no issues. 11:43am receive a text that my in-store order at the Central Park Fredericksburg store is available for pick up. The same order they could not locate an hour before and told me 2X that the phone I ordered was NOT in stock. 1:30pm Show up to pick up the phone and store is unable to release the phone to me due to the phone in process to be shipped. Cannot cancel either phone. Have to wait 7-10 business days for the phone that was ordered in store to be returned via NON Pickup although we arrived to pick it up. Cannot cancel the phone for shipping and told by both STORE Manager and Loyalty department that it may not ship since the original order was fulfilled after being told 2X that it cannot be fulfilled and to reorder for shipping!!!!!! No one at AT&T is able to help! Not one of the 9 people we talked to can cancel either order and there is no way for the consumer to cancel the order! Daughter does not get a grad gift. If the second phone does show up for shipping it cannot be activated due to the phone sitting in the Fredericksburg store that I cannot have or cancel. WTF!!!!! We've been loyal customers since 2001. Not anymore. Keep your damn phones. Taking all 7 lines and moving on! Will also tell everyone I can that your customer service is nonexistent and loyal customers are not valued. read more

Wanted information on switching to ATT. I waited for the reps to finish with others BUT, when it was my turn, the rep walked past me to two women who walked in well after me! Store manager Logan Hartman is classic scam artist. Went in to buy new phones and trade in old. We were sent to Best Buy to purchase our new phones since there were none in stock. This is after Logan held and looked over our phones and guaranteed us that we would receive $700 per phone upon returning. After confirming the prices and even having him write all the numbers down on paper for us we left and purchased our new phones at Best Buy with no problems. When we returned to Logan we were told that we would only receive $350 per phone, he then got extremely defensive when we asked why the major decrease. He then tried to tell us that our phones were damaged and he couldn't tell because of my "dark phone case". When I pulled out my CLEAR phone case he started getting rude with us to the point where he tried to force me to leave the store... for calling him out on his mistake... After having to deal with Logan Hartmans very unprofessional behavior trying to scam my family I would highly suggest not going to this store. read more

I went in because my phone wouldn't place phone calls. The gentleman that I spoke with said "oh it might just take a couple of days for your phone to reset itself" (because the day before I had been in and had my "network reset" in order to send pictures.) I wasn't receiving text messages to my actual phone number, only my iCloud email. The gentleman that I spoke to (never caught his name) was rude and acted like he had 1000 other things to be doing. Gentleman was 0 help. I ended up resetting my phone and getting it to work myself. On another note, the gentleman that I had spoken to the day before, actually took the time and showed me how to fix my phone if I had the issue again. 5 stars for him! read more

Horrible customer service, both store and corporate. The associate at the store was not helpful or informative, when I called corporate they had 4 people tell me I wouldn't be charged for anything if I returned anything before 17 days. Had hot sporty for 5 days, was charged for a whole month and a restocking fee. When confronted no one at the corporate office could find my account, wouldn't let me talk to a manger, and won't refund my money and are still charging for a whole month. Will never do service, which didn't even cover the area, with them. read more

Marcos Wright is the worst sales representative they have... he lied and said I had zero phone lines paid off when I had two clearly paid off... the manager said he had only worked there six days and h did apologize but said there wasn't much he could do because the employees are backed by the union... Marcos hid in the back because he knew he got caught lying... if you go to this store do not give him credit for the sale because he is a liar and will not be respectful to you... let some hard working employee get the credit... Been sitting here for at least 30 minutes. There are only 3 employees actually working with customers. There are at least 2 security people, I think, since they are doing nothing. There must be at least 3 other employees hiding in the back. On top of that the restroom is marked out of order but I have seen at least 3 employees use it. Not very customer friendly all around. Turns out one of those "security " people is actually the store manager. He is incapable of waiting on customers because he needs to be available if a salesperson needs help. Really? You manage a store yet you can't multitask? The people hiding in the back are trainees. Maybe they should be on the floor and the manager could assist them if need be. Also these trainees should have been ready for the holiday season. read more

Ever since the route 1 location shut down I've gone to this location and its always packed. Ive walked in walked out quite a few times because the wait would obviously be ridiculous. The one time I didnt have to wait the person I talked to could not for the life of her properly explain the concept of the next program...in fact she confused us so bad we said screw this and got an at&t line added at best buy. Watch when you renew an account here. Might get a bunch of lines you don't want then when you go back to straighten out good luck. Have been going back in at least once a month since November and still not straight, have also called customer service and not straight, have been nice and patient but now enough is enough, I feel like I'm helping them meet their quota if they have one by just redoing things in 1 month my bill jumped $70 plus a $30 credit so $100 for just removing a line, how hard is it. 1 phone, 1 line, and Apple Watch should go down not up read more

I had an AT&T track phone of several years which I hardly used any more and had accumulated quite a balance on. I had always been told that if you close your account that you just lose any balance in the account. With an extended trip coming up I was concerned about not having access to my e-mails. So in order to stop the bleeding with the track phone and see about the ability to access e-mail, I decided it was time to pay a visit to an AT&T store. I went to the one in Central Park at 1601 Carl D Silver Pkwy. I was greeted with a courteous welcome by James, a sales associate. I briefly explained the reason for my stopping by and he invited me to have a seat as he would try and give me some options. He said I was a candidate for a Go Phone plan and he explained them all to me and we talked about the one plan in depth that he thought best fit what I was looking for. Then we went over all the phones they offered with that plan and all their many features. After I decided on the plan he recommended and settled on a phone, our discussion turned to the large balance I had on the old phone. He saw a way that the balance could be brought over to the new account which most surprised me and of course pleased me. Then he said he would go ahead and set up my e-mail account on the new phone since my e-mail was a prime concern to me. Not knowing my password for my account off hand we fumbled a bit and eventually Yahoo locked my account down, something they do for what looks to be fraudulent attempting to access - wrong password on a new device. The lock out has a twelve hour duration but they will send you an e-mail telling you what private information to enter to immediately regain access (now go figure - an e-mail sent to you that you can't respond to because you are locked out of your own account). James had a solution - a way to have that e-mail sent to another person's account that you were comfortable with in doing so. He sent it to my partner's account that when I got home and could find out my password to my e-mail (using Chrome), I could follow the steps in the e-mail that Yahoo had sent and complete the set up on my new phone (worked like magic). James spent nearly three hours with me, never showed any bit of frustration, annoyance, or signs that he would like to move on to another customer. Needless to say I was most pleased and utterly impressed with his show of professionalism. I'm happy with my new phone (though I have lots yet to learn about it) and most happy with James and my experience with AT&T! read more

I received a bill for 613.00 for 2 lines, data and insurance and one line for 12.00. I went to the store to get resolution. I worked with the staff and the staff tried to help but could not. The manager came out to try to explain the math to me which made no sense. He started with April and May payments saying I did not pay them which I should him I did. He went all the way back to Jan\Feb saying I missed a payment. I went online and I had made the payments. He could not show my why my bill was 613 and could not even do the math to his own bill they use. I have bought every iPhone since the iPhone 3, every upgrade to 4, 4s, 5, 5s, 6, 6s, 7 and 7plus even in Red and also Apple watches (not to mention phones for my family members). I have spent an insane amount of money being with them since 2006 when they were Cingular. So, what do they do instead of fixing my bill...they give me a lame excuse of I wish I could help you. So yes you did help me AT&T!!! You helped me go to Verizon and you will never....ever get a dime from me ever again. I will have a Jitter Bug flip phone before coming back to you. There is no customer loyalty or service (while all of the people in the store a very nice they could do nothing for me) They just want to get your money and that is it!!! read more

Weirdest at and t store I ever been to... This place is set on walk ins and has to register to talk to an AT&T staff ...so it's pretty much like calling AT&T on the phone but doing it in person...how fun!...the place is big for its own AT&T store...there was actually a lot of people walking there and a lot of people coming in...There's about five tables and there's a staff member in each table to assets you with what you need or want... Waited for about 15 mins... It's was so annoying..there are side benches... That fits about six people...that's the waiting area..they didn't really help much pretty much just say you can do it online...but since we here why can't you fix the issue in person...people are so incompetent...the people greet with welcomes but once you start asking them multiple questions they start greeting you with good byes... There is a huge parking lot! So don't worry about parking ! read more

I've went to this store a few times over the years, because at one time it was the only AT&T store in the area, and MULTIPLE times I've asked them to change my cell number. The fat guy behind the desk said, 'You're not allowed to.' No further explanation was given. I asked him why and he said, 'You're just aren't allowed to. I own the account and I've always paid my bill, AHEAD OF TIME, and, in truth, the only reason I still have their service is because they one of the few people in the area who have decent cell reception in the remote areas of Virgina, which is the best places for nature walks and beaches. If it wasn't for their coverage I would have dropped AT&T as a carrier because of this store YEARS ago. read more

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had to deal with with any cellular store. May just be the worst ever! I set up online to get my phones from the store. Customer service told me they were the closest store to have my products. Got there and they could not find my lines of service even though they had pulled my account, texted me to say that it was ready and had my sim cards already prepared. They couldn't explain why my numbers couldn't port and they said that I only had one line of service. I asked the lady and the gentleman that had been helping another angry customer "if you can't find more than one line on my order, why do you have the 2 phones in your hand with our order ticket and sim cards in your hand? I guess they were psychic but they couldn't sell them to me and that At&t would freeze the account if they sold them to me. They told my wife & I to just wait 24 hours to see if the account updates. The company needs to come to Fredericksburg and totally revamp that store because they are giving at&t a very bad image. read more
