Went recently to ask for assistance with my new cell phone. Two employees, Eric and Fernando, were like two wizards at work. In a short time they answered my questions and took me through the process by showing me exactly what to do. I am grateful that they were available right then to help me out. Unprofessional and extremely rude staff. My husband went there to port the number and ISSAC instead of porting the number gave him a new number just to make a $50 sale. he did not picked up my calls so i can give him the Account number and PIN from cox. My husband is disabled and its not easy for him to remember numbers. we are very upset about it. i spoke to Alex the manager and they took forever and the number is never ported. He kept telling me he is working on it. I called back after 3 hours and the lady said its still not done and they cannot do anything about it and she hung up the call on me. We were a very loyal customers of AT&T for more than a decade. This is extremely unprofessional, upsetting and disappointing. i need my money and my number back or i have to complain this to the corporate. I would never recommend this store to anyone. read more

My suggestion: You do not need that place. Went to the AT&T store to get a phone released. First clerk, typed into his tablet and said done. Failed to work however Went back second clerk says to wait for the person who can do it. Third clerk says, "We don't do that". Even though the just did. So I sit on my car and call AT&T. Two weeks ago I changed our plan, upgraded 2 phone and put my in-laws on our plan. One of the phones was for my husband, we wanted to keep his number and just upgrade his phone. The employee ADDED A NEW LINE! Fast forward to my bill. The new line has the new phone on it so not only am I paying for his regular phone number we have to pay for the new line too! I contacted ATT customer service, what a f-ing joke! They CANNOT transfer the phone to his regular number. They refuse to move the phone to the regular number. The only thing I can is cancel the new number and pay for the phone in full! Plus the can't cancel it until 7/31 which means I have to pay FOR ANOTHER MONTH! The icing on the cake is that she also added insurance which I never approved. So now, thanks to one employees problem I am out almost $550, the minute my contract is up I will move somewhere else. read more

After a recent visit I was introduced to the new solution by ATT called ATT TV. It is AWESOME! A better version of Direct TV, no Satellite and runs off your Internet. If you're a novice or a tech geek like me, it's simply plug & play. Easiest install ever. Best part....much cheaper than Cox! More channels and features. Highly recommend! If you visit the AT&T store in Goleta in the Costco shopping center, ask for Drake. He's super helpful and knowledgeable about this product and can give you in store demo. We had Royce wait on us today, at the AT&T store in Goleta Market place. Our previous Experience was good, where we bought a 5G phone and plan from an associate at this store. Out store visit experience was Awful for the following reasons, due to Royce arrogant behavior. 1. Disclosure A second individual in training just sat down when we were in the middle of talking, this person in training was never introduced or disclosed his identity, he just sat down. Although I don't have a problem with the trainee, at a minimum he should of been introduced his role. When I asked, whom is this .. then Royce exclaimed the second party role. 2. Product knowledge limited Royce has limited knowledge, as well as plus and benefits of a mobile hot spot router, he "acted" as though he was an expert, but the truth he misrepresented the differences, to a personal phone hot spot with great arrogance and confidence. 3. Aggressive tone of Arrogance Royce, spoke down to us...like he was the boss of AT&t, as he continued to speak in his arrogant and aggressive tone..I decided to move on because I cannot stand Liars with a great tone Of arrogance. Overall, for a person with 11 years with AT&T he needs new training to understand the offering , as well as common etiquette. read more

ATT cancelled my prepaid account for no reason and when I asked a store assistant to help me with the issue he refused to help and just said "call customer service". How am I supposed to call if my phone isn't working? Worst customer service ever. They won't even lift a finger to help you out. It is comical that an ATT employee tell you they won't help you with your ATT account. read more

I went in to get an iPad for one of my workers. The service was fast and the kid was very nice and helpful. The only problem is the week after my visit I received an email from a insurance policy that was ordered for my iPad. It was nine dollars a month for insurance that comes automatically from Apple with any new product. I really find it dishonest when I am in rolled in these sorts of policies without my knowledge. I've had nothing but problems with this store. I Was told about a promotional for the iPhone and the watch whereby I could Get a new iPhone watch and upgrade my phone as part of a first responder program. I was helped by a guy named Drake who constantly kept trying to add on an iPad to the package and then said it was "free." I have continuously been charged for the watch since I signed up, despite this being part of the promotional. I have been to the store in person on three separate occasions and have achieved no resolution. At one point the manager (an Argentine woman) gave me her card and told me to call her after she resolved the issue and i got my next bill. I did just this, non-working number. I called AT&T Hotline three separate times and they told me after the second call that there was no case created regarding me getting inappropriately billed. I would completely avoid dealing with a store if you can. Empty promises and no delivery. read more

I went in March 21st 2018 to get a BOGO deal for samsung galaxy note 8 and s8+ only to find out that the store manager and staff has no professionalism in handing a BOGO deal that was not set up properly. Fast forward to July 16th 2019. My husband and I were in the store, distraught after all our channels of appeals, complaints, and calling are exhausted. Cesar (assistant manager) and Erik (store manager) told us that they have spoke to the area manager about our issue and that we should not bear the burden of paying full price ($754.99 +$20/line for 20 months= $1154.99) for a staff's mistake, and they will refund the money for us. But one month later, still no news. They have barred our cell phones to reach the store, their direct work phones. Our friend walked into the store to ask about our case, Erik said he did not remember us, and later switched and said the refund will be there in two week (after no further clarification on paper or anything). So, internet, please spread this horrendous practice loud and wide, because they thought they could drag us out with time and silent our voices with each rejected call and "two more weeks". They are messing with the wrong people. We will not give up our hard-earned money for this predatorial corporation called @ATT to profit from its unprofessional, multi-level-hierarchical-malfunctioned business model. read more

This is just ridiculous to get an appointment at 5pm. I arrived 2 mins b4 5pm and there is just one customer service as the rest are on their lunch break. The girl who checked me has no idea how long their break is. Here i am 35 mins later and still no other customer service has helped me yet. Biggest waste of time. Low stock and rude staff needs some training in customer service. I needed a screen protector replacement. I intentionally purchased an att protector so it could easily and quickly be replaced in store. Big mistake! After having to jump through 20 minutes of hoops to get into my account to see whether or not I could get the replacement, I waited another 10 minutes for them to tell me that the item was out of stock. Would have been helpful to know that from the beginning! Check your stock before wasting people's time please. I will avoid this store and buy a mail-in replacement screen protector next time. read more

Amazing service! I just got a new phone & Melissa was an AMAZING help. She walked me through each step of the process & helped my dad specifically (he had to deal with a corporate phone nightmare). She was so helpful, friendly, and she helped us achieve a great deal. She was able to answer all our questions and was very patient. This is a team that LIES about products, prices, and phone availability. I dealt with Lawrence and Eric (who hid in the background). I had so many problems trying to get the phone I was "promised" that I was allegedly given 60 days of free cell service! I received a bill for $112+, and when I went back to the store (4th time), Eric refused to come out from the back. I was told he would "take care of it." He still hasn't!!!!! I've been an AT&T wireless customer for the last decade or so, and it is the service I receive at this store that makes me not ever want to switch providers. This Camino Real location, in particular, is pretty on the bar with their customer service. I can't always say this, though - I've been here in the past and the service absolutely sucked (the employees on duty were often too busy talking amongst themselves to acknowledge a customer walking in). Over the past year or so, however, I've noticed the customer service level really increase. Maybe I've been catching them on good days, but I no longer have any sort of complaint. Service is prompt, the associates I've worked with (especially the manager on duty) are helpful and knowledgeable, and the store is modern and clean. I went into this at&t with the intent to purchase a new phone for my sons existing line. I was greeted upon entry and tended to immediately. Melissa was great and spent plenty of time with me doing each thing I asked for. Not only did I purchase a new device but she changed my insurance to make sure I was getting my money's worth. She also helped me to add international plans to the lines which I asked. She was great! Also her manager Christian was a big help, the both of them together helped to make my phone bill cheaper and made sure any concerns were addressed. read more

Made several phone calls to the store at their opening hour. Seven phone calls later using option number 3 to choose to speak to someone live, nobody answered. Or it would continue to ring and just disconnect me. I decided to drive into the store and see what was going on. There were two store clerks not busy with any customers. Store was empty. I decided to call the store as I walk in to see how they handled their incoming phone calls. I was greeted and as I stood there I saw the line ringing and lighting up. The worst AT&T store. When trying to get my phone fixed, the employees did not notify me that my phone was under warranty and could be replaced with a new phone. I was told to buy a new phone. They told me that the phone I wanted (on display) was "terrible" and should by the newer phone. They tried to up-sell their newest phone with a wireless charging station and watch. The employees were only focused on making commission and not helping the customers needs. I got better customer support via AT&T contact support. Very disappointed with the employees. I would recommend staying with AT&T, but visit another store. read more

His customer service skills are stellar, he listens, he's educated about his product and services, and he's patient. He worked through a snarly mess I had with several plans that weren't optimum for me, helped me get the upgrade I wanted (that no one online or phone could). As a freshman in USA, AT&T is the worst company I have ever seen. We told the sales that we wanted a 12 months plan, but the result turned out that we involved in a 28 months plan.
