Supposed to open at 11am, but they put signs up saying they wouldn't open until 11:40. Myself and two others were waiting since 10:50. More people showed up closer to 11:30-11:40, and who did they take first? The handful that rushed through the door past all of us who had been waiting. They asked us to sign in, but then skipped right over us and served others first. The staff clearly saw us waiting at the front before opening, and still ignored us. Pretty messed up and extremely frustrating. And then, after all of that, I still had to wait an additional 30 minutes before anyone helped me. When I finally got service, the rep couldn't even fix my issue. My cellular watch can receive calls and text just fine, but it can't make calls. Instead of troubleshooting, he was in such a rush that he just pushed me off to Apple Support or AT&T phone support. I didn't want to sit on hold for hours, so now I'll have to try again another day -- and the problem still isn't resolved. If this is how they treat customers before even making a sale, I can't imagine how they handle actual service issues. read more

UPDATE: With the amazing help of a friend, my first review here got in front of Corey Cooper (retail store manager) and he worked with his area service manager to take care of everything. They took care of the full amount that the business line had accrued. They also had my brother and I go back into the store where Bryan Persen set up my brothers add-a-line how it was supposed to be. In the end, this was definitely an ordeal but I'm happy that once the initial review got in front of the right person, it was handled quickly. He called immediately, texted after and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Both he and Bryan made up for the initial bad customer service. We decided to stay with AT&T when I had initially planned on moving our entire households accounts over to Verizon. In the end, everyone was empathetic and wanting to help. The biggest frustration is that no one seemed to have the ability to help and it was 3 weeks of trying to resolve this. That's where Corey Cooper came in as a God send, as he was finally the first person out of the 7 I had already talked to, who could find a way to fix this (and quickly). Thanks! read more

Wow! Just wow, we came in with our Apple watches and had many different stores/customer service reps on the phone try to help us. Frustrated at the all day event we were finally sent to the Company store. After 4hrs on the phone the day before and an hour at the store off 172nd, Isaac knew what he was and fixed our problem within 20min!! I would definitly recommend this store to all AT&T users. He was very knowledgeable and even felt like an old friend the way we conversed. He made our day better and saved us from our problem! read more

I have been with AT&T for my cell phone needs for quite a while. I've even had them for my land line at times. Overall, I much preferred their service for land lines. This isn't a review of AT&T as much as it is for this particular store. I reviewed the store at which I began my service with them in terms of a service/equipment upgrade. That store, Oregon City, started out with 4 stars and, because of the departure of the excellent employee who helped me at the time of the sale and even after that, I downgraded them to 3 stars for their subsequent caliber of service. I then had an issue with my phone. Being that the Clackamas Town Center store is fairly close by, I stopped in to see what to do about it. A young lady helped me. What became apparent is that this store is focused on making a quick sale and isn't concerned with your needs. I explained the issue I was having, asked if they've seen it, and asked what others have done about it. Instead, I was cavalierly whisked over to an area with the latest phones, most of which exceeded my needs, with the key word here being "cavalier." I looked up a few things and learned that resetting it to factory defaults could be done. It will probably work but one will lose some, yet not all, of the things that were on the phone beforehand. I went that route. I know I will have to replace this phone, even though I've gotten used to it. What I've learned is that AT&T stores found in smaller malls, in strip malls, or as stand alones tend to have employees who are more patient, are more thorough, are better listeners, and are less pushy. The Clackamas Town Center store seems more like a mill to me and, because of the volume of people coming through there, that would make sense. Still, I don't like that. So, then, 2 stars - one star for having people with a pulse inside a locale where the lights are on, and another star for having phones and related gadgetry to sell to you. read more

Micheal Horn the manager is an ass and I will never spend another dime with ATT after 10 years of being a loyal customer. I asked to be taken care of a bit and was told no so I went to the Sprint store. My phones screen failed and I couldn't get the info off of the device to switch providers. When I came back to get the info he told me to wait and cussed as he walked away and played on his computer in the corner while other clients waited. There he sat and disparaged other providers and didn't help any of the waiting customers. If you want any type of quality service stat away from this store and the company doesn't value loyal customers I guess. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years and this is the worst disrespect and lack of tack by a managerial position I have ever seen. read more

This was our second and last time to darken the door of this particular AT&T store. The first experience was half an hour before closing on a week night. The store was dead and there were two obviously available sales people, one may have been closing a til or something, but not working with a customer. My wife and I were planning to purchase new phones. We had to approach these two to get any assistance. They appeared to have "checked out" of their duties since it was nearly time to close shop. After they told us they'd be right with us, It was another several minutes and neither looked to be making any effort to see what we needed. We left, and made a purchase at our local AT&T Authorized Reseller (on Oak street in Milwaukie). They will get all of our future physical store business. Our second experience with the Clackamas Town Center store was today to get a sim card swapped out. There was a bit of a hassle accessing the account, which I understand is just part of the process, but once that was resolved, there was still a considerable wait (5-10 minutes) for the sales person to locate the right card. When my wife asked what was taking so long, she was told "don't worry about" by Trevor, the sales person who finally helped us with the sim card swap. As we were leaving, I politely asked Trevor if he would accept some constructive criticism. He agreed. I mentioned our reluctance to come to this store after our previous experience, but figured we'd give them another try. He did listen and seemed to understand my input, but immediately made an appeal for us to understand his position of basically having to deal with "people" (complaining customers) all the time, like we should not expect polite customer service from him if we have a complaint. Just really poor attention to customers, and a complete absence of truly serving the customers that provide them jobs. We will NEVER enter this particular store again. read more

The new store set up is fantastic. I personally loved the layout and found it very aesthetically pleasing. There are so many new gadgets to check out from speakers, to home security, keeping tabs on your kids (without getting all weird and implanting them with a microchip), and then the usual tablets and phone options we are accustom to seeing. You won't find a cash register in here. Everything is done via tablets that the employees use. From checking you in to ringing up your total (make sure you have your credit card on you!) it's all tech all the time. The employees are all smart and courteous and take their time to assist you with whatever need you have that brought you into the store that day. There are really a lot of cool things to find. Example? Well ok. There is this fantastic outlet 'extender' that 1) curves to fit the area you have it in and 2) turns on and off at the push of a button ON YOUR PHONE. There are tons of designer phone and tablet covers. Tablet keyboards, which aren't anything new but I've not seen the ones they have for sale before. Tons of speakers that I can't even remember all the names of, beats by dr dre. ...Next thing you know they will be selling laptops and plasma televisions. Over all it's a cool store that you should check out! read more

If the old AT&T Clackamas store still existed, this place would've gotten a 5 star. We've gotten a lot of support from the old store but the new employees (of this new location) has been such a big disappointment. Not only that they did not help solve our problems, they just told us to contact customer support. If every employee here direct their customer to call customer care, then what's the point of even having employees in store to help "assist" customers with problems. This isn't the first time we've been turned away without help. I've been a loyal customer of AT&T for more than 10 years. Recently, AT&T has decided they wanted to add various charges to my bill without my consent. I had upgraded a phone and DECLINED the insurance. Little did I know, the employee HAD ADDED the insurance without my consent which did not came to my attention until being charged for the insurance for 7 months!!!! Not to even mention technical difficulties we've faced with our devices. One of our line was no longer a smart phone and is out of contract. There were some unknown/unauthorized charges for data plan when no one has touched that phone in almost a year! Not to mention, the SIM card was thrown away. However, one employee decided to put anther phone code on our plan and have caused some confusion as we were charged for data plan we didn't use or agreed to. They had called tech support and they've confirmed that there were no usage or activity within that line. HOWEVER, employees at this store kept accusing us for putting in the SIM in a smartphone when we don't even have the SIM to begin with!!! This goes back to the line that a different employee had changed the code from a smartphone to a basic phone. We were also charged a whopping extra $30/month for their employees mistake. I am not stupid and I know how to work technology. Only if they would stop accusing their customers and start helping! After my contract expires, AT&T will no longer have us as their loyal customer. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had an issue with no service on new iPhone and support could not help and asked me to go to my nearest At&t store. Upon arriving in the vacant Clackamas Town store, I was approached by an employee by the name of Baruch. Unfortunately for me Baruch F, has no business working in customer service. He couldn't make eye contact with me once, just kept leaning on their service table acting almost as if I'm to beneath him to actually address me as a human being. When I asked for his manager he pointed to the nearest employee next to him; I suddenly got a feeling I'm negotiating a car purchase not fixing a service issue. I informed Baruch that if this is what I should expect from At&t I would gladly take my money to one of their competitors like Verizon. Baruch in an aloof manner told me to go ahead and do that. Well Mr. Baruch F, if all of the At&t customer leave where will you be punching in your hours. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place, you are better off at contacting customer support and talking to a friendly agent. Best part of my wasted time here, Baruch couldn't fix my issue, egregious waste of time. Worst customer service experience ever. Still unresolved. They overbilled my upgrade, adding services that I didn't sign up or ask for. They promoted a free case with signing up for a new contract and purchase of a warranty. Itemized receipt showed that I paid full price for the case; no discounts on the other line item either. They refused refund and reaching out to their district manager didn't return my contact. Ended up filing a dispute with the Better Business Bureau. After multiple conversations by email and phone denied resolution by AT&T. read more

My first time purchasing a phone with them about a year ago was great.. It's all gone downhill from there. Because of my good experience I decided to return to the same store when I decided I wanted to switch back to iPhone after having my LG for less than a year. My most recent experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I certainly will not be returning to this store when it is time to upgrade. First, my sales consultant Jon, while he was nice enough, seemed rushed through the entire process. I had him install the $35 glass screen protector because I trusted that since he worked at the store he would be better at doing it than I am. I should have just done it on my own, because now I have a crooked screen protecter with a big bubble on one side and the other side doesn't even cover the screen completely. It would be nice if he has taken the extra 30 seconds to line it up correctly. The final straw was when I got an email from AT&T thanking me for adding Insurance on my new device..... That I never agreed to purchasing. I am EXTREMELY displeased that this was added without my consent. read more

If I can give a negative star, I will. Ok, in my case, the sale associate named Lai told me I could get a bundle of tv, internet, and mobile for $150 plus tax. I was hesitate, so she told me they could sign me up just to block down the price. I tried the service for one week, if I did not like it, I could cancel any time without charge. No contract was held until I accepted to continue the service, and I could switch to the mobile prepaid plan.Then later, I checked with the online agent about the internet if it was available in my area. He or she said no. Next day, I came back to tell them if the internet was not available, I did not want the bundle. They charged me for $45 restocking fee with the phone I used for 1 day. Fine, I paid it. Now more problems came in. They could not switch me to the prepaid plan since the shit loyal system saying the account was so new. They could not switch it. It had to be 30 days to switch to another type of account.Really??? They told me they will be pay the difference between my prepaid plan and what they are charging right now ($90 plus tax). Let's see how the first bill comes out. Come on AT&T, if your system can't handle switching different type of account after locking down the price, don't offer your customer the shit trial week. I got charged twice for a restocking fee $45x2=$90... Online customer service said my only recourse was to go into the store that overcharged to get a refund. I went in and the Assistant manager said there's nothing they could do that I had to come in when the Store Manager was there. He wouldn't be there for 2 more days. 2 days later I got a text saying he would be there from 9-6 the day of. I went in at 5:20pm and of course the Store Manager was not there. This was the second drive there. Nothing could be done except crediting my cell phone bill and then he went on to say if I come back in a couple days... At that point I was irate. "I'm not coming back again, I want my money back". He walked away and wouldn't deal with me anymore. I ended up calling my bank to dispute the charges which they happily credited my account immediately. This wasn't the first time I had below par customer service at this location. I cringe whenever I have to go here. Never again will I go to this location and will do my best to just deal with ATT online or another location if I even stay with ATT which I am highly questioning currently. read more

My husband and I went to the att store at Clackamas mall at the beginning of October because my husband wanted an upgrade to the new iPhone 6 Plus. We ended getting an iPad mini, changing our home security system and changing our phone plan along with the new phone which was to be delivered three weeks out. After several weeks, the phone my husband ordered made it to that att store but was returned due to an error in either the store's name or my husband's on the order. I called att's main line and had to also ask about our bill which also did not jive with what was promised and was told I had to go into the store to fix any problems. After a month and half of waiting for the phone, I went into the store and told the associate who helped us what happened. The words sorry about anything for the situation or that maybe there was an error on his or the store's side came out of his mouth. If I hadn't looked up the tracking information and looked at our bill, we'd still be waiting for a phone that would never show up. My husband decided not to get a new phone from att and we're looking at when we can move on. read more

I have been in here several times and have been treated like an inconvenience each time. The first time I came in, they were having a promotion for a free speaker with a phone upgrade, which was sweet! But then I started receiving a $70 "accessory charge" on my bill. I had to go in THREE times to have them take the charge off and refund me the money. When I came in a separate time to get a phone upgrade, they acted like I was an idiot when I didn't want to get the newest iPhone when I only needed to trade in my damaged phone for a replacement. Last December I was sold an I Phone 7 Plus with the understanding that if I buy one I would get the second phone free. I thought this was a great deal and said okay to a salesman from the Clackamas Town center store in Oregon. I had previously paid off 2 phones I really didn't want to pay for 2 more new phones but I agreed to the deal because of the 2 for 1 deal. I also decided to upgrade one of the phones to a 128 Gb and pay the upgrade fee. They said after the first three months the promotion would kick in and then the phones would cost $10.00 a month instead of $36.00. Now that the 3 months is over and it didn't happen the way they said I would, I went in to ask about it. First of all the manager said he couldn't help us. So I waited an hour and a half to talk to the salesman I worked with. This salesman looking as if he made a mistake said he couldn't do anything about it. Now, I am being faced with the decision of losing a phone I have been using for 4 months and have tons of stuff on. Next week I am going back into that store to give back a phone that I like because I will not allow myself to live with a lie from your salesperson. Furthermore, I am dumping AT&T as my provider after this contract period. I intend to write my story on Facebook and Yelp to encourage other people not to use this service based on my experience and your salesman's inability to keep their word. read more

Went in today between 5-6pm to ask about the rabdom changes on our bill, as well as to purchase a new phone. My wife and I were by the entrance, waiting to see if someone would approach us. We probably waited a good minute, no one approached us, so we went ahead to look at phones. No big deal. We waited. We saw that there were at least 4 men chatting on the corner of the store, they were wearing black shirts so I assumed they worked there. I told my wife that maybe they were on lunch. I noticed later that there was a lady that was sitting on one of the chairs, i was positive she worked there. Another couple came in and she approached them just right before I was able to ask her for help. We waited again. It took about a total of 10-15 minutes until we decided to just go to another store, so we started walking towards the exit. That was when an employee approached us. He asked if we needed help, I said we did, earlier, but you guys are having fun chatting and laughing over on the corner there. I told him we were going to another store instead. The salesman I worked with took such little interest in helping answer my questions, he rarely completed a full (let alone informed) sentence. He wasn't rude, just disinterested. When I returned to the store, moments after buying my phone, he looked annoyed that he had to stop reviewing his lunch options on his tablet to help me. What's more, he didn't know that Apple headphone mics aren't compatible with AT&T phones. I had to learn this by querying friends on Facebook. So now I have to make a second trip to buy compatible headphones for a new AT&T phone. I guess this is what happens when you're not buying an iPhone. read more

I went into this store to meet someone that was selling me their phone off of craigslist so I could have the phone checked out before I bought it and also to add the phone to my account for my daughter. When I approached an employee and asked him to check out the phone for me, he looked at me like I was crazy. But he finally dinked around with the phone for a couple minutes and then said, "looks good to me". I handed my money to the guy selling me the phone and proceeded to try to add it to my account. At that point the employee told me it was a stolen phone and was nothing more than a brick at that point. As an employee of an ATT store, I would think this wasn't his first time encountering a request like this, so was shocked that they would not make the effort to ensure the phone wasn't stolen before he told me it was fine. I don't know that they're actually in collusion with criminals, or if they're just lazy and don't want to get involved, but this sucked. read more
