In need of copy paper, I did a search while in Clackamas which brought me to this Office Depot. Located in the Sunnyside Shoppjng area, it did take me a few tries to find it! You have to go around the McMennamins pub and back to an area away from all the other stores and restaurants. As soon as I walked in there was a display of Cottenelle TP, 12 Mega rolls for $9.99 Which is a really good deal. So whike this wasn't in my list, I picked up two packs, not hoarding! Just happens to be my brand and at a far better price than at the supermarket. This Office Depot is large. All the norms plus lots of random impulse purchases scattered throughout. I was greeted when I walked in and when I said I needed copy paper, I was sent in the right direction. Good to know it's here because with gas prices are so high, if I need to run an errand I always see if I can take care of several in the same area Which leads me to new locations for my regular stops. In Clackamas I hit up Petco, Old Navy, Cost Plus, Target, Michael's and now Office Depot. There is plenty of parking out front. Easy access on and off I-205 and close to Clackamas Mall and Clackamas Promenade. read more

We came in to get copies of some documents and decided to browse for a few other things. We were asked multiple times if we needed help and they were so quick to give answers. The shift manager, Stella, was especially eager to help us as we checked out. There was an item that she needed to get (with a security tag), and she looked through all the drawers just to make sure it wasn't misplaced and was in the wrong spot. Just poor equipment, personnel, and customer service at Office Depot. I stopped at Office Depot on Sunnyside and 205 (10-22-25) to copy some government forms. I need 2 double sided copies of 3 pages (6 sides). This is a do it yourself location with 2 machines. The toner in the first machine I tried was so weak, the 6th page was not even readable, it was nearly blank. I could just make out the first 5 pages. So I tried the second machine for just the 5th and 6th page, 2 sided. The paper coming out of the machine was blank on both sides. I talked to the manager, showed him the problem and he said he would make a copy. He set the copier on a higher level and made 2 sided copies for me, however, I could hardly read the 6th page. Same as my first attempt. I asked if there was an ink problem (toner), his excuse was the weak master copy i was using. So I asked if there was any other place with a better copy machine. He stated these were the best, $75K machines. I said I might find better copies from the Public Library, he doubted this. I said I would come back if I found better copiers. I about 15 mintues I was back with copies that were darker than my original. I turned up the machine I used at another location 1 notch above normal. The Manager said those are good copies. I mentioned the Office Depot machines were not good and need to be replaced. He defended the machines. I still believe it was simply a toner issue and the inability of staff to understand the machine. Just poor equipment, personnel, and customer service at Office Depot. read more

I was in desperate need of a home office after I had just moved to Portland. I needed something quick and easy to set up over the weekend. Leah helped me tremendously and showed me all the different options they had in stock. She understood what I was looking for and led me to the best options. I bought a desk and chair on the spot and was easily able to put it together myself! They are both very sturdy and well-made. I'm very happy with the outcome! The Tech Service Manager (Eric) was extremely helpful and went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. I had phoned in about a tech trade in for an old iPhone. At first he said the store wasn't able to do it, but upon further investigation he found out he could. I had already gone into the Milwaukie Office Max (#6580) and was told they didn't do it, even though the website said they did. Eric said come on by and he'd help me out. I showed up a short time later and was greeted very pleasantly by Eric and he proceeded with the tech trade in. Unfortunately the computer system was not taking the tech trade in request (he tried multiple times) but that didn't stop Eric from continuing his pursuit of excellent customer service. He honored the tech trade in value and discounted my printer purchase, and gave me back the old iPhone. Eric also gave me a discount on the ink since the products I had wanted were out of stock and I had to purchase the higher price alternative. Eric is a rare gem in the industry of retail and customer service. He listened with concern and never became defensive. He looked for a solution to my problem and found a way to make me, the customer, happy. I truly appreciate his dedication to kindness - especially given our current world events. I came here early in the morning to print some documents. I did the self serve but the printer not printing. Maybe it was too early and the printer still warming up. The good thing is the young man from the print center helped me and no extra charge. Things like this makes a lit of difference and I will continue to come here and recommend you guys. Awesome job! I like office depot, they mostly have what I need, and usually not too overpriced. I like their employees, most of them are very friendly. In fact, today I saw an employee who was very clearly an introvert, and very clearly did not want to talk to people, yet he went out of his way to make sure that my wife and I were satisfied. That young man earned office depot five stars. I also like that they have good quality paper products and file folders. My wife and I always get our folders here. read more

Horrible customer service... I was in a hurry to find something I needed and could get NO help. I waited in the check out line, just to be told to go to another associate and wait. That group of employees sat there and didn't even look my way. (Even after asking for assistance!) Also, I wasn't the only person waiting. The two people behind me ended up just walking out of the store, as did I. I can't believe all the good reviews on here for their customer service after being in there myself. I will not be coming back. Walmart or anywhere else would have been better. read more

I would give ZERO stars if possible. This was the most atrocious experience I have ever had at this store. First off, the lady at the counter said she actually worked in furniture. What was she doing in the print department???? Next, she claimed that the job couldn't be done until tomorrow. I came to the store at 11:30 or so in the morning, and needed 9 clear covered booklets made with 45 pages each. Last time I had a job like this, I went to Fed EX and they did it in 20 minutes flat. Then, she keeps ruining the pages. Then, after like 15, 20 minutes, she tells me she can't do it by today. I say ok I will go to FedEx. She then hands me the ORGINAL COPY, (made up of several different packets from online that took me an hour plus to assemble,) BOUND, (never asked her to do that,) with the spiral coming out of each end!!! She then CHARGED ME FOR IT!!!! She said, "of course" I had to pay for it. I had a coupon so it was only a bit over two dollars, but still!!! Now I have to go to another place, have them unbind it, wasting time and money!!! Never again! They lost my business for good. read more

I work right across the street at a major Hospital so, I have to go in there every now and then. My co-workers and I have always felt, The general manager Jeremy. Has always been weird and creepy. so we just order more from Staples. I had to go in there and the creepiness and the weirdness just went to far! following me around the store, not asking if I need help but watching me from other aisles, it's just too much! I walk in there with my badge and now he starts calling me by my name, like we're best friends and wanted to walk me out to my car, and I didn't even have anything heavy, I've barely had half a bag full. it was just weird and creepy and I felt like I was being stalked and all I was trying to do was buy some office supplies, just to make it through the end of the day! Went in this morning with next-to-no time and one mission: print 4 pages of a Powerpoint Presentation for a lunch meeting and get out of there as soon as possible. I went to the printing counter and was helped a minute or two later (all three attendants were busy on the phone/with other customers when I walked in) by a nice man who quickly helped me print out what I needed (in color and black). Then, we turned to wait for the cashier to open up since the other attendant was using it. Sensing I was in a hurry, the attendant turned to me, smiled, handed me my debit card back, and said, "I'm not going to make you wait. Have a nice day, ma'am." I was blown away, to say the least. Honestly, I'm sure Office Depot didn't lose out more than $1 or $1.50 AT MOST from that transaction, but the counter attendant's fantastic customer service made my day. I plan on going back for any future printing needs, for sure. read more

I didn't have a very good experience with this store when I recently ordered a print job (flyers) by phone & email. I was told I would be contacted when it was ready, but this didn't happen and I had to call them. When I went to pick it up, the flyers looked terrible, cut unevenly and very unprofessionally. The guy helping me agreed and said they would re-do the order and I could pick it up in 1/2 hour. When I returned in 45 minutes, this guy was nowhere to be found and the people in the print departmend had no idea what I was talking about - he had not told them anything before he left. A friendly young woman said she would try and fix the problem as well as she could (this took an hour while I waited), but she told me that the store had an inferior cutter and that management had told them they would not be getting a better one, so they couldn't do a good job on the cutting. She did what she could, but the flyers do not look good. Besides the edges not lining up correctly, there are dots on the prints that look like there was dirt on the printer. I've ordered copies of these flyers for years from the Office Depot store (now closed) at SE 82nd and King Road - I never had a problem there and they always looked professional. I'm very sad that they are closed, and now I must find another place to bring my business. read more

Man, I was in such a rush because the construction crew was already at the site waiting to begin working and needed the blueprint plans ASAP. Problem was, I didn't have any extra copies of the plans so I needed to print a new set immediately so I brought my disk with the PDF file, to print it out here. For some stupid, random, reason, the files were all different sized sheets which gave me a headache. But Adam did such a great job of figuring all of it out for me by print them out the best way and for the best price. Using good judgment and experience he had from similar situations--we were able to print out the sheets with out any more dilemmas. I was really happy with the customer service I was provided with and how the finished product turned out as well. This printing shop has an awesome friendly and professional environment so I definitely recommend coming here for all of your printing needs. read more
