I am an older adult and needed help with several technical processes that I felt unable to do myself. After being rejected at another (non-Verizon store) I came to this location without an appointment. There was a bit of a wait, because of that, but I really didn't mind. I loved the music being played and I met an older, lovely couple there, also getting help. It helped to pass the time. The best part of my experience was meeting a wonderful young man named Chris. Chris was so patient and caring towards me. He helped me with all my issues.... Transferring data to my new phone, deactivating an old iPad and uploading new major operating system to my current iPad (because I was anxious that something would go wrong if I did it myself). I am certain he didn't have to do all of that for me but I am so grateful he did. All the employees I observed there seemed knowledgeable and kind. I made a Yelp account just to review this place. The customer service is a mess. It took 3 hours for their system to process things and it seemed like everyone had an attitude to serve you; like they weren't happy you were there. I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon because I always heard how good their service was, well I switched and constantly had 2 bars so I decided to switch back to T-Mobile, well dealing with the staff again, they said I paid 56 dollars for a screen protector even though I had a statement from my banking all that I only paid 26$ so my refund was off and I lost about 109$ with me switching back even tho I was with the 14 days of using there service..... That place stressed me out. If you plan on switching to Verizon or already have it don't go to that store to buy a new phone or talk about phone plans, they need a whole new team. read more

I would give this Verizon store a -5 stars if I could. As a former Verizon employee, I found that this store really does not want (YOUR) business. We went into the store to make a major purchase. No one else in the store. And the employee (Cheyenne) was curt with her answers to questions and basically did not want to be bothered with us. So if your looking to buy a phone, accessories or whatever. I would take my business to East Port Plaza, 10 minutes up the road. Zach B at the Clack/Happy Valley store helped me and he was amazing. He got me the plan, the phones and the service I needed to quickly switch plans for my whole family. I had all kinds of things I was throwing at him, veteran, multi - line. Switching existing phones. Do NOT go to this store. It is not a real Verizon store and they WILL rip you off. The way they run their company should be illegal. I literally created a Yelp account just to discourage people from making the same mistake I did. I went into this store to get a new phone and I the 2 hours we spent on that (still not sure why it took so long) they convinced us to take a Hum device and a tablet that we didn't want with the promise that not only were they free, but they would actually lower our monthly bill. We asked multiple times if there were any extra charges or fees and they said no. They lied. The next day I look at my bill and see $80 in one time fees for those devices plus $10/month for the Hum and $20/month for the tablet. When I went back into the store to return the Hum and the tablet they made me pay $70 each for restocking fees and $20 each for a "set up" fee... even though they didn't do anything to set up these devices. When I tried to get out of paying these insane added fees they said I had signed their terms & conditions so they couldn't waive any fees even though I was lied to repeatedly. We definitely aren't the only ones who had this experience because while we were trying to return our scam devices another person was there with a similar issue. There is a real Verizon store across the street with very kind and helpful people who don't rip you off. I strongly suggest you go there instead. read more

I went into Victra at the Clackamas Town Center on Black Friday and was sold their "door buster" promotional deal which I was told with the purchase of the Samsung S10E, I would also get the Samsung Active Watch and a tablet. I was told all I would have to pay for both the watch and the tablet would be the activation fee. I asked the store manager, Mikka (who I have also been told multiple times that only she can remedy the problem), to explain the bill to me- she told me that all of the credits would be fully applied by the 2nd or 3rd bill cycle and told me what to expect in the meantime. The first bill was $150 over what she told me it was going to be ($250 more than my "normal bill"). The next bill was over $100 over. The 3rd bill, which should have officially had all the credits applied and been significantly lower due to all of the fees I paid on earlier bills- this one was still $20 more than my "normal bill." I have driven down there 4x now in the last 4 months and each time, Mikka has told me that it will all be resolved by next bill cycle however it has not happened. Last time, Mikka even gave me her work e-mail in case the next bill was incorrect. When I reached out to her after getting my most recent bill which was still incorrect from what she guaranteed it would be, she did not responded despite sending her multiple e-mails and still has not. I have also tried to call the corporate Victra number that has been listed multiple times on other reviews however after being passed around for 2+ hours, I was disconnected and no one reached back out. What they are doing at this Victra location is unethical and most likely illegal. Do not accept any "promotional deals" from them because based on my experience and many others on here, they will totally take advantage and lie to you over and over again. Man named Edgar needs to be fired. The people in front of me were getting shamed for not wanting insurance on their phones and being pressured. When it was our turn before we could even finish speaking he starts telling us we are wrong and he is going have to charge us. Before we could even ask anything he would be borderline insulting us. I made the right choice of going into Victra, a Verizon store at Clackamas Town Center. Stephanie was so sweet and took a lot of time helping me find what I needed. The Corporate stores don't seem to have this quality of employees. Johnny, the store manager gave me an incredible deal on my purchase and he too was really nice to work with. This will be my go to store whenever I need anything even though there is a Verizon store in my city. I hope Victra realizes your value and compensates you accordingly. He spent almost three hours with me; Selling me new phone; setting it up; trying to figure out a glitch with the transferring of my photos from old phone. The Costumer service here is TERRIBLE. The cell service SUCKS! I never got bars anywhere I went, apps wouldn't download as fast as they should've. ( which was why I was trying to cancel and get a refund ) Not only did they make me wait Forever to even be asked if I "needed help". I wanted to return a phone I purchased. So when they finally gave their time of day and opened my account. I needed to bring back the Box my phone came in ( which was my mistake for not bringing it back with me Originally) So I drove home to be able to refund my phone. THEN they told me they needed my debt card I used to get a refund. So since I had driven home already they added a comment of "man I'd feel bad if you had to drive back home for it" So of course, I had to drove BACK home to grab my debit card because I just so coincidentally I left it. So once I finally came back AFTER driving home TWICE. Ended up telling me that I would receive my Refund VIA MAIL. So then I was like "So you're telling me I DIDN'T NEED TO GO HOME FOR MY DEBIT CARD???" So then the clerk was like "Ohh, I thought I grabbed it from you.. well I guess you're right. I just selected via mail. My fault, didn't think about that" So after this WHOLE ASS VISIT, I'm beyond Frustrated. I don't recommenced Verizon, OR this location. read more

The reps (we had Amanda, who is the manager?) also do not print anything out nor do they have policies, so they will not give you a copy of the receipt unless you specifically ask for it. The associate working in the store did not greet me when I entered. After telling him I was there to pick up a phone that was ordered online he asked if I was the account holder, I told him I believed so. He asked for my PIN number which I could not remember. I showed him the text message I had received saying the phone was ready for pick up and also logged into my Verizon account. He just said don't care, doesn't matter what's your pin? I again told him I did not know and messaged my husband for the pin which he also didn't know. The associate stood there silently offering no way to rectify the situation. I attempted to call Verizon directly but it was a long hold time. I had a scheduled appointment and told the associate I would just have to come back later to get the phone and asked for his name and told him that his customer service was awful and that his online school seemed more important than helping the customer. He said yeah I'm in online school and I'm not even paying attention. I asked if he could call Verizon or offer any other help and he said no. I asked for his name again and he said he didn't have to give it to me and then waved at me and said bye bye. As I walked away I heard him mumble something and I turned around and said excuse me, and he yelled I said Jesus fucking Christ. I was appalled and said are you serious right now. He then said I'm a grown man, what are you going to do about it.....your just gonna write something and try to get me fired. I again told him his customer service was awful and he then said bye bye you fucking bitch. I walked out the door without my phone. The associate is either white or a biracial male, appx 6 foot tall, thin build with wringlet type curls that are just above his shoulders. read more

Called this store and CJ said he could not give me information about my account over the phone and that I had to come to Eastport Plaza. So I did. Turns out he could have told me to simply call 611 for customer service but then he would not have been able to upsell me. Before my visit to Victra I was a big Verizon fan of their coverage and discounts on new iPhone every two years. When my contract is up Dec. 14, I will not be renewing with Verizon. Yes, all the one-star reviews are no exaggeration: this place will CON YOU HARD. When I left the store (without any provided paperwork), my email receipt I was sent showed I was charged TWO activation fees, $10 monthly mobile protection, and a "setup and go" fee simply for setting up my phone. You won't be told you are being charged for ANY of these things, not even indirectly. I wasted a whole afternoon trying to cancel my contract with them. Luckily, I was successful. I would agree with the previous posters about a HORRIBLE customer service experience. I went to upgrade my phone on June 3, 2018, and the customer service rep lied to me that some things were free when in fact she charged me for them, she put products in my bag that I did not want and charged me for them, and she did not give complete information, a review of my new plan, or an itemized receipt to review later. And the transaction took twice as long as I've experienced before which led me tired and frustrated and just wanting to leave the store. I am beyond frustrated and flabbergasted that a staff person provided me such horrible customer service. I will be contacting the corporate office as well as Verizon overall to let them know about what an incredibly bad experience I had. In the end I overpaid $194. UNACCEPTABLE. read more
