I would not normally comment on something like my cell carrier, but I think we should all keep in mains the gain when evaluating the pain... I went through the process of unlocking a long-unused iPhone and actually found it to be very pain-free! And, the staff at your Las Colinas/MacArthur location were extremely helpful. Nice big store, but their sales people need a lot more training. They will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale, but when service tries to get installed, technicians will tell you the truth about what the system really can and cannot do. My husband and I walked in and told them we would like to switch providers. They said there was four people ahead of us and that they would take our phone number and text us when they were ready for us. We gave them the model and color or our vehicle and they said they would also walk to the car to get us if we didn't answer the message. We sat outside for an hour and during that time, the couple behind helped at the time left, but no other customer came in the store and no employees left the store to fetch anybody. We eventually left and went over to the Verizon store who helped us right away. Oh, and we never did get a text message. (And yes, we confirmed our number on her screen so we know that's not the excuse). From the other reviews, it looks like this location loses a lot of business. Corporate, I would look into that if I were you and try to figure out why so many people are having such a terrible, time wasting experience. read more

It was a pain to get the connection from these people as a first time user few months ago and now when I walked in for an upgrade they tell me I am not the account holder on my own account and wanted me to call customer care. Why would I do that If I knew you guys would not be of any help in store to me?. If you think you have enough time to take their BS go out there and wait for hours while they eventually come back after an hour telling you that only customer care can help you with your case. Now I want to say, I'm giving 4 stars to actually Alex at At&t for 2 reasons. First because I went back into the store yesterday and actually approached him to get some questions answered and he answered my questions even though I had gave him somewhat of a negative review about the situation. And he was not mad or had an attitude or did not want to assist mean which is the most important thing when you're dealing with cells and even if you don't want to deal with a customer that you may not like or may not want to deal with he handled the situation extremely well. Now however I was upset with the situation overall and I know that Alex per se cannot do anything but I do feel like his manager should have done something more because again we are the customer we were not the ones that allowed someone to steal our information and have to change numbers change bank accounts go through this hassle and you block our accounts and then we can't do anything and then you want us to be inconvenienced as the customer. So I would say go and visit Alex he is a good employee he can do his job very well he only has so much power that he can do by him being a customer service rep or sales representative not sure what they called them at the store but he did his job well especially the second go round and I want to congratulate him as a thank you. I hope that this is looked upon at corporate and his manager to understand that you have good agents out there and good employees but you need to give them a little bit more lenient saying and power to be able to help customers. Now also with that being said I did speak to corporate and they have helped with the situation and my mother has a phone I have the watch and iPad that I didn't want however it took all of this to get to this point which it should not have had to do when it was a simple transaction that should've been taken care of. read more

Representative was not able to communicate clearly about important information concerning my account and lack of information involved with trying to help me with phone service and data plans. He seemed to be motivated by obtaining a commission for himself by having me sign a contract and break my existing new contract I had just gotten two months earlier. I would have to pay $150.00 to break my two month old contract to sign a new one for him. It would be a bogus business account. Nothing in writing / on paper was offered after I requested. Walked in a minute before closing time in addition to them starting inventory and John immediately began to figure out options for me as I was totally bewildered at the fact that my phone was dead done no hope for it and he quickly got me set up with a new one in probably less that 30 minutes and it would have been shorter had I been more decisive . I am giving this place two stars because I have been coming here for years. It is a large store with much to offer. This store is always very crowded, not to say this is anyone's particular fault, just a populated area. Most of the employees that have helped me throughout the last few years have been friendly and knowledgeable. Although today was no exception, the attitude my husband and I received from the employee, although seemingly knowledgeable, was absurd. I'm also not your average consumer dummy, nor a "hipster techie" that thinks I know more than I don't. Yes, she helped us, explained everything thoroughly, and in the end we got what we needed and left. However, we also got service that included sighs, grunts, and numerous eyerolls. Considering my husband and I both work in customer service, one in the medical field, and the other in a call center type environment, we both understand how hard it is to take crap from people day in and day out. Yet still, I can't help but salute this employees deliberate attempts to show us how disgusted she was that we exist. I would also like to add that we are your typical "nice customers." And even after her obvious sighs, blank stares, and eye rolls, my husband still had the decency to apologize for having to re ask a question he didn't quite get the entire answer to. I understand I have no way of knowing how many rude customers she had before us, but I do know that we are the type of customers that usually make you hate your job less. BEWARE if you try to get DirectTV through AT&T they will give out your contact information to apparently all other satellite and cable providers. I was not able to get Direct TV, my apartment faces the wrong direction and now I keep getting text messages and phone calls from other providers. Wish I had not bothered to try and get direct tv. read more

Trent has got to be the worst customer service rep there is. I spent 1/2 hour last night with AT&T tech support to figure out the way to upgrade my Android phone from KitKat to Lollipop. (Version 4 to Version 5). My phone is an UNLOCKED AT&T LG G2 phone. My carrier is MetroPCS/T-Mobile. I was told by LG tech support that since the phone is an AT&T model, the way to get the operating software updated is through the AT&T store. AT&T tech support confirmed this last night and told me to get an AT&T sim card to enable the software upgrade. I told this to Brent when I checked in for my appointment, he seems disinterested and dishearten once he learned my carrier was with MetroPCS. He went through the motion of bring out a sim card, without any valid telephone number, handled it over and walked away without a word! I inserted the card into my phone thinking that would solve the problem but it didn't. I had to ask him to come back and assist me. He finally stated I would have to check with tech support...he knew nothing about how it works. Tech support worked with the sim card he gave and still was not able to get the software upgrade. Either tech support is not technical enough to solve the problem of nobody in the store wants to help solve the problem. The analogy is this: If I buy a personal computer (Dell or HP) with Windows operating system software. I shouldn't have to go to DELL or HP in order to update my operating system. Android operating system is an open system and as such should be upgradeable independent of which carrier one has phone service with. THIS IS PLAIN MONOPOLISTIC BEHAVIOR ON THE PART OF AT&T. read more

All time low experience with a service provider, thanks to their sales team. Please do not see Anne at this store. Here's my feedback of how that conversation went : The rep was extremely rude after a few Initial discussions. She kept rushing me and suggested that I should hang up on my husband who I was talking to simultaneously so we could decide to buy t new iPhone. She hit on "I accept" option when it should have been me; just to hurry me up, it was abt 8.30 so may be was in a hurry to go home. She told me not to read the disclaimers because they were available online and could be read out of the store. She got so pushy that at one pony I had to ask her to relax. I almost walked out of the store without purchasing the phone because of her. But stuck through as I had waited for an HR to even talk to a rep n she didn't have the courtesy to talk to a client who was investing 650 dollars on a phone. read more

I was trying to come back to AT&T from another provider and was greeted by Trent. During our interaction, Trent would push other products on us and even after we told him we just wanted the Iphones we came in for, he would still push it on us. I know it's "Sales" but his comments and attitude were very rude and awkward. It was so awkward we ended up walking out and my wife cried because of the awkwardness. Yes...my wife cried because of the attitudes of one of the store's sales people. Another one of the sales people named Jillian was sitting behind us and we noticed she had jailhouse tattoos all over herself. Not something we expected in that area. read more

None of the sales people would give me eye contact so I went up to one of them and she just handed me a card all while not giving me eye contact and said we don't handle damaged phones. As I can't give 0 star - giving one. Recently I lost my AT&T phone and have no active sim on it. Went to the store to ask about blacklist my lost phone using IMEI number - the representative said : AT&T cant do anything like blacklist/erase/locate and asked me to work with any third party site to blacklist ... I didn't believe this store , so then called AT&T service center - they were able to blacklist the lost one. Never believe what the representative say to you , just call service center to make sure what you listened here is right. read more
