Visited Wednesday, April 22nd around 11am expecting a routine phone upgrade. Instead, I accidentally walked into a masterclass in customer non-engagement. There was one rep. One. No backup. No support. No second person. No help coming. Just a single employee managing one customer while the rest of the store slowly turned into a waiting simulation with no instructions. And to be clear, the issue wasn't that the employee was helping someone else--that part is normal. The issue was that no one else existed to help, and no one bothered to acknowledge that fact. No greeting. No "hey, I see you." No "we're short staffed, it'll be a while." Nothing. Just immediate, professional-grade silence as if customers entering the store triggered a "do not interact" protocol. My wife and I waited about 20-30 minutes. Another customer came in, stood around in the same invisible queue, and eventually left. We followed shortly after, not out of frustration at waiting--but out of clarity that waiting was never actually part of an acknowledged system to begin with. Because when a store has one rep and no communication, what you're really doing isn't waiting for service--you're participating in a guessing game where the rules are never explained and the outcome is always the same. And that's what makes this stand out. Not the staffing level itself, but the complete refusal to acknowledge basic customer presence. Even a simple sentence like: "Hey, I'm the only one here, it'll be about 20-30 minutes" would've completely changed the experience. Instead, the approach seemed to be: If we don't acknowledge them, they'll eventually decide reality for themselves and leave. And we did. I don't expect instant service. I don't expect special treatment. I expect basic acknowledgment when I walk into a store that exists to sell services. This location didn't just fall short of that--it acted like acknowledging customers was optional, and possibly discouraged. We left without being helped, without being spoken to, and without any intention of returning. Not because it was busy. I had the worst experience at this store. The sales associate who was the manager just kept talking about how much he could have made if we signed the policy under him. He gets a free points for helping my elderly father set up his new phone after he repeatedly tried to upsell us on cases and screen protectors. I told him I didn't want one and he told me my phone was going to break with a cheap case. Nice. He also took a phone call and talked to other customers for half of the time he was with us then said we had his full attention. Clearly not lol. We had to keep repeating things and he would respond with some anecdote about his life. I will literally go to any other store from now on just to avoid him. Omg, what a disaster. The real MVP, Ari, deserves a raise. We walked in and greeted by a super nonchalant associate. We shared our issue and a person who seemed like the manager immediately started to tell him what to do. Mind you she was across the room while helping another customer. Needless to say she micromanaged him so hard, it complicated the solution to our problem. Luckily, Ari stepped in, gave us more info about our plan and troubleshooted the entire issue. I'm not holy blaming the people who work there but this place has horrible customer service. I walked in on Sunday two employees and two customers being supported and no one acknowledged me or the first 15 minutes until one of the customers was completed and left. And then unfortunately they were not able to help me because of whatever corporate policy and minimal access to my account from this local store. I do not recommend dealing with AT&T through a local store if you have any way to avoid this. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! I usually do not write reviews, however the service my mom and I faced today was insane. Justin is the only sane worker in this building. Everybody else has a NASTY attitude. The lack of customer service is quite frankly astonishing. The laziness among the workers here is unmatched, instead of helping and guiding customers to the correct answer, the workers play telephone with each other. Who is the manager? I would not know, as this location has zero idea what they are doing. For the young man who scolded my mom (and me over the phone) today, I hope you have a serious reality check. just now New The ONLY reason this store is even getting a 5 star review from me is because of Paris. On 2 different prior occasions to my visit tonight BOTH times I was met with an attitude by each store employee. The first was because I wasn't an authorized user on the account - okay no biggie just explain that. No need to cut me off and be curt. The second encounter was with Justin and if you're not there to buy something for him to make commission off of you then forget it he "cant" help you. And by can't I mean won't. Every other customer buying something was able to have their question answered. Jokes on him if he would have answered my question and not been rude I would have upgraded my phones with him instead of Paris. Which by the way Justin - when you told me to call the customer service line they informed me that my request could have been done in store and in fact would have been easier. I received my iPhone that I bought through Apple and needed to mail in to AT&T or take it to a store for my credit. Since this AT&T store is about 1/2 mile from where I live, it made good sense to go there. On entering the store, I noticed the chairs were placed following social distancing protocols. The only thing I didn't know was did I need to sign in. One of the people waiting said she hadn't so I followed her lead. The three customers ahead of me were taken in order. In about 20 minutes, I got to talk to one of the reps. The transaction went quickly. He explained the various options available to me for receiving my credit. About 5 minutes later, I was out the door and on my way home. The receipt of the new phone, setting it up, and wiping the old one and then the stop at the AT&T store took about an hour and 45 minutes. Not bad at all. I went to this AT&T store to transfer lines and after waiting an hour in line, the guy tells me he can't transfer lines. The guy obviously just didn't want to do his job. He tells me I need to call AT&T. So I go home and call and if course the person on the phone says I need to go to a AT&T store so I can show my id to transfer lines. I go to a different AT&T store because I didn't want to deal with that guy again and the other store I went to did it for me. Just spoke on the phone with him and he was being a total jerk, kept interrupting me while I was talking. Also he kept denying about his bullshit lies. Walked into an empty store (not one person was inside) and asked who i should speak to was pointed into the direction of "Roy" who seemed extremely thrilled to help (sarcasm). He made a couple passive aggressive sounding dry jokes, which to me as a client just sounds like i walked into a store where you aren't doing anything at and God forbid now you have to do your job. I told Roy my problem which is my messages both imessage and sms are not being received, which he asked who I spoke to at Apple (asked this twice) and told me whoever i spoke to probably didn't know what I was talking about (which I've spoken to multiple apple support representatives who all made this situation easier on me as inconvenient as it is) and have fixed the issue on their end (so yes, it did make sense). His attitude and costumer service throughout our entire interaction was extremely off-putting. He finally changed his attitude when his manager (who was actually nice and offered solutions) came out. Extremely disappointing service and poor issue resolution on AT&T, my partner and I have been considering to go with Verizon and I think this just sealed the deal! I don't care about not having my issue resolved then and there, but don't forget part of your job role is costumer service why make a complicated situation even worse. I was so extremely impressed with the quality of service and professionalism at this location. All the employees helped me after my phone was stolen. They were empathetic, patient and knowledgeable. Vincent even drove to another store to get me the phone I wanted bc they didn't have one at his location! I was so blown away by the kindness I was shown, I bought the crew a well served lunch. Clay, Nicoh, and Bradley all chipped in and helped me transition into a new phone and the accessories I needed. These gentlemen deserve acknowledgment for their willingness to go above and beyond to make sure the customer leaves happier than when they can in. I went in to upgrade my son's phone. The sales guy was rude and when I asked for an explanation he was rude. I told him I would take care of it later he tried to kick me out of the store and said he can no longer help me and for me to leave. I stayed to speak with the manager he said his employee was completely in the wrong and has numerous complaints about him and he was going to be fired. Two weeks later I brought back my trade in device and the young kid whom tried to kick me out was still employed there and was giving my family and my self dirty looks and huffing and puffing and gave my special needs son a real nasty look. I have a contract with AT&T and my lines were eligible for upgrades. My husband had been thinking about upgrading to the new iPhones, and also upgrading our watches. We stopped into the AT&T location on Blue Diamond. We were greeted but basically left on our own to browse. I had to find someone to assist us. We told the gentleman what we were looking for and he pointed us into direction of the iPhones. After finding out that we were interested in the Apple iPhone 14 Max the gentleman lost interest because the phones are not in stock. He told me I'd have a better chance of getting an iPhone from Apple so I should call them. Which I did while in the store. I was somewhat irritated and told my husband that we should just go to the Apple Store instead. The gentleman at Apple answered all of our questions that the AT&T associate couldn't and even showed us the upgraded version of our watches. However, Apple was out of stock of all the items as well. The gentleman at Apple told us that we should go to AT&T because we would get a higher amount for our phones when we turn them in. At this point we were inside of the downtown Summerlin mall so we decided to go to the AT&T that was nearby. When we walked into the store we were immediately greeted by Nicoh. We had told him about our experiences so far and he sat us down. He did explain to us at the Apple iPhones and watch as we were looking for we're out of stock, but he could place an order for us and they would be sent to out house within a week or so. The whole process was fairly simple from start to finish, and he was able to get us exactly what we wanted. He also insured us that by using AT&T we were making the best choice because of the customer loyalty programs, and discounts that they offer. Thank you to Nicoh for saving the day! read more

First BAD review I have to write BECAUSE I just waited an hour for Eyla to tell me to call customer service. The hour wait was a waste of time and disregard of my time. There were two employees only so I made the best of my time waiting in line patiently. Fast forward to last 5 mins before close for Eyla to ask if anyone had a quick question since there were only 5 mins left. WOW what is the point of having stores at all then if they cant even update your name in the account? The previous ATT store updated on their end and now all of a sudden it can only be done through online customer service? How does that make any sense. I hate to give bad reviews, but I had the worst experience at this AT&T Store... The associate that was supposed to help us, Jeremiah, kept telling us to call 611 to set up our account and refused to do it in-store. He was more interested in watching the football game on the direct tv screen than actually getting my new phone account set up. So I spent literally an hour on my phone in store with crappy reception trying to hear the associate on the other line help me set up my phone account. This something that should be able to be done in the store. I don't think Jeremiah was a bad associate, he was nice enough to try to help, but how the AT&T system is set-up now is a mess.
