I went to this Apple Store on Sunday May 24th (a Sunday.) I wasn't surprised to find it very busy with a lot of people. The greeter at the front door was very pleasant and helpful. I just switched to an Apple Laptop after years of using Microsoft Windows desktops. I wanted to ask some questions specifically about saving YouTube Videos to specific places and folders. The greeter quickly told me about their instore lesson sessions available to sign up and attend (I did sign up for one of their sessions.) Being I had specific questions I was directed to a table where I could wait, and a store rep would come and assist with my questions. Josh A. came over and spent a good 15 to 20 minutes answering my questions and explaining the differences between saving files on the Apple computer and a Microsoft system supported by windows. In the end Josh was great in showing me how to create folders and where I could save them. He also spent time sharing knowledge about the different apps that come downloaded on MacBook Air Laptops. I've always wondered if apps you never use can be uninstalled without impacting the operation of the computer. The time spent with Josh A. was very worth it. I don't get it. I walk in and schedule an appointment. They said about 1 hour 15 mins and they would notify me when I was getting close to my time. Nope, never got updated information and almost 1 hour and 30 mins later and they said for me to take a seat, in which I did. I sat for another 20 mins before anyone came up and assisted me. He was very nice. Didn't introduce himself, but people these days have trouble with manners it seems like. I guess I am old school. Anyway, he couldn't help me and didn't know how to fix my issue and didn't refer me to anyone that could. I had a scheduled Apple Vision Pro appointment today at 2:00 PM at the Apple Store Summerlin. I arrived on time, but was told there would be an additional 20-minute wait. An appointment should mean the scheduled time is honored, and I was unable to stay, which resulted in a wasted trip. The "worker" didn't apologize and was patronizing. You want to sell a $3500 piece of tech but fail to make the experience premium. On top of that. you hire poorly skilled customer service reps. I see why this place has bad reviews and I would suggest taking your business to another Apple Store. read more

A few days before New Year's Eve, I ended up buying my husband a new iPhone 17 for a holiday gift. The online option at the Apple website, had an option to select in store pickup. The closest Apple store to my residence is the location in Downtown Summerlin. It's one of the few Apple stores in Las Vegas! The Apple store is a part of the major retailers and offerings in the Downtown Summerlin shopping district. The store is near Macys and there is plenty of parking available. I ended up parking at the Macys parking lot and walking over to the store, arriving just as the store opened in the early morning on a Wednesday. Inside the store, there was a wide range of Apple's latest devices and accessories from iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, and more! There were plenty of Apple Specialists available to answer any questions, assist with product setup, or help to explore features and services. There is also technical support by appointment available at this location, which allows customers to bring in devices for diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting. The store also participates in Apple's Today at Apple program, which offers free sessions and workshops on creative and technical topics. Some of these topics include photography, coding, music creation, and even device tips! The pickup for the new iPhone 17, in orange, was seamless. The setup and transfer from the previous iPhone device had no issues. Everything backed up and restored properly. So yesterday we went to the Apple Store to see if they could fix my husband's phone. The back was cracked and the buttons weren't working. Before that, we had gone to Best Buy, but they told us the phone would need to be shipped out to get fixed--which wasn't an option for us since my husband really needs his phone for work. The Apple staff were honestly so nice and helpful. They let us know we didn't have to ship the phone at all and that it could be fixed right there at the store. They said it would take a couple of hours (about 3 hours max), which I didn't mind at all--and the price was even better than we expected. Overall, it was a really good experience. I'm just glad my husband is getting his phone fixed without all the hassle. read more

Big shoutout to Franco, the technician who helped me. His service was excellent -- he communicated clearly, was patient, and genuinely cared. Even though he couldn't replace my device, his professionalism stood out. I'm a long-time Apple customer and own nearly every Apple product, except for the Vision Pro. I upgrade regularly and have always supported the brand. However, my recent experience with Apple's warranty service was extremely disappointing. My AirPods Max are listed as eligible for "Express Replacement," but that promise wasn't honored.I'm To make it worse, the Genius manager told me I needed a "CS code" from customer service -- but after being bounced around multiple departments, I ended up speaking to a senior manager who didn't seem to care about resolving the issue. Apple makes premium products, and I expect premium support -- especially when the warranty clearly promises certain services. This experience felt frustrating and misleading, and Apple needs to do better in honoring their own terms. read more

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! So Sad, we walked in at 2:55 pm. They told us that they can see us around 5:15 pm. We get back to the store at 4:55 pm. At 5:30 pm, we ask about our appointment. A young Brazilian lady said she would check us in. Then she comes to us and says, "We have 2 people ahead of us." We explain that we have been waiting since 2:55 pm. She did not care. What is worse is that, as we are driving home, we get a text saying that, because we did not check in, our appointment was canceled and they are moving to the next person on the list. WE wasted our Sunday afternoon and evening due to poor service, and the phone problem was not resolved because she canceled our appointment. It is now 7: 30 pm. So sad. read more

let me start at the door with Robin the security guard amazing!!!! i have a disability and she was so helpful. i was soo great and appreciative for her. lovely to chat with and she made sure i was ok during my visit. When walking in I had to chase down an employee to get help. No one ever asked if they could help me. Then when I asked if they could help me, they were rude as hell! Like I was interrupting their day. When I told them my problem, they couldn't do anything because Apple is operated by controlling idiots. And won't let you gain access to your account for 6 days if you are locked out. Even if you've proven your identity over and over and it says you will be notified in 24 hours, but still won't unlock it after that period. Absolutely ridiculous! What other software program does this to you other than Apple? I have never had such a problem regaining access to MY INFORMATION and I have never dealt with such rude and unintelligent individuals while dealing with this problem both in person and on the phone. Came here the day I had an issue with my Apple phone. Can only be seen with an appointment. If someone doesn't show for their appointment they go to the next person, the. There is no walk ins allowed. Made an appointment with the store associate. Was super easy received an email with the time frame and date. Came next day I was 15 minutes early, was sat immediately. There was an assistant that came over asked a few questions and asked us to wait for our Technician that she would be with us shortly. Having Apple Care saved me from having to replace my entire phone. Payed $99 for a swap I guess there was water damage which doesn't make the swap free. The location is really beautiful and in the perfect spot of downtown Summerlin. Parking: There is street parking as well as private garaged lot parking in downtown Summerlin so parking is never an issue. Product availability: I normally come to this store when I need to replace my charger cords. They always have what I need in stock. Customer Service: Inconsistent. On some of my experiences here, the service has been great, however there are times including my most recent visit to this location where the customer service has not been so great. The associate who completed our transaction most recently (01/25/23), he had a very blah personality. With as many associates that this location has on the floor at a time, you would think the customer service would be immaculate all the time.
