I had a very pleasant experience at this AT&T store today. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, especially Delcy.

Calvin was hostile, rude and unprofessional. We came in to the Lincolnshire location to trade in our phones. Calvin started out with not wanting to check other stores for phone colors, I guess because he wanted commission as another store would make the sale if we left. Which is fine, I guess. But then said that we had to pay for the "next up" and the whatever insurance they offer for the first month and then we would have to call and cancel the addon products after the first bill. We obviously did not want these products/services, especially did not want to have to deal with calling in a month to cancel them. He insisted that we had to pay for them. I said we don't want any of their insurance products. Calvin already hostile, started shoving a piece of paper in my face saying that these are not hidden fees but a "Feature" because that's how the fees were labeled as on the piece of paper. Claiming that we have to pay for these when getting new phones, nothing he can do about it. The whole time talking in a very rude fashion. Eventually he told us to leave after I said may be we should switch to T Mobile as they are not angry in their stores and upfront about their fees.. Felt like I was talking to an angry drunk at a dive bar that wasn't making sense but just saying the word "Feature" repeatedly. Long story short, we went to another AT&T store where the employees were very friendly and professional that did not even mention any of the addon products and were upfront with any fees. read more

I brought a phone in for an upgrade and when I went to bring my old phone back I was told they couldn't accept it without a drivers license. I went home (20 min away) got my license and went to another store where I was told I did not need a license. I lost over an hour of my day because they did not want to process the exchange. Do not go here there are plenty of other AT&T stores available that want your business. read more

Not only do you always have a smile on his face even when I could tell it was kind of frustrating, but he helped me you didn't jump me through all the hiccups and hurdles ahead. Randall at the Lincolnshire, Illinois store was wonderful and patient. My husband, who still had a flip phone, stopped by to finally get a smart phone. They needed info from me so I stopped by. Randall worked with 2 senior citizens who have no children or grandchildren who can help us with technology. He was so patient with us. Thank you, Randall! I went there last week to purchase a simple phone case. The very pushy saleswoman JENNY, convinced me she could get me an upgrade and lower my monthly payments. One week later, I see my bill...she was NOT truthful!!!!!! She added features I did not ask for and it actually increased my bill by almost 20%!!!!! I called AT&T to change my plan back to the way it way and remove all of the crap she added and was initially told I couldn't make changes and had to live with the new, expensive plan!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is not okay to mislead loyal customers (16 years!!!) the way she did to me. read more

Friendly and helpful customer service, received great guidance and support from a worker today.

Went to the store with my elderly parents as their phones are old and being replaced by AT&T. Gabriel was incredibly patient with them, their questions, and did not try to upsell them on anything. I had come with to make sure they weren't pressured into getting something they did not need. Gabriel recommended my parents wait for their replacement phones to arrive, offered to help them get set up once they arrive, and then we can decide how they feel about them. I was so grateful this is how it was handled. read more

Att is costing me business. Requested business numbers be ported. They cancelled my whole account. Someone was supposed to show up Tuesday they never showed up. Showed up this morning. I wasn't there because I was at a client. They cancelled account again. They can't get someone until Monday but I am out of the office until August 3. Thanks AT&T. You suck. read more

Horrible service. In December 2017 my family switched from Verizon to AT&T. We visited this location as it is very proximate to us. We were promised over $600 in credits to switch. The store Rep never submitted the refund to the vendor. We have been waiting 7 months and still nothing, even though we submitted the request ourselves. Be careful if you are using this store to switch from another provider. Make sure to follow the credit closely. read more

Normally don't take the time to write reviews but... Store opens at 10am. I arrived at 10am and waited til 11:05 and no-one showed up; I left. I called at 2pm to see if anyone showed up and Jenni(the Mgr) answered and was extremely short on the phone. I arrived to have them help me transfer the old phone to the new phone(what was told to me by an associate earlier in the week) and Jenni was there. From the start, she had a major attitude that I was asking for help and all these questions. Not only did she not help me, she ended the conversation by saying, "I sold a phone to an 85 yr old lady yesterday; if she configure it out, you can. This is not a corporate owned store, so I am gladly taking my business, which is 5 phones for the past 11 years which have been turned 3-4 times to another location. From 1 business owner to another, you need to get involved with your hiring practices. read more

Switched from the Vernon hills location because of the rude customer service and we decided to go to The Lincolnshire location and OMG what service , Gabriel the manager went above and beyond to help us out. We were amazed and his ability and knowledge !! He fixed a problem in like 2 seconds I've been trying to get the same problem fixed in Vernon hills multiple times and they did not have a clue on what to do !! But also sadly I signed up for internet through the Vernon hills location and somehow we were not offered the promotions for signing up Wow. I love 4 min away from the Vernon hills location and o refuse to walk in that store after the way the manager literally called Me a liar in front of my 12 year old. I wanted to cancel my services with them and went to Comcast and was approved and then I called the Lincolnshire location and couldn't believe that Gabriel told me to come in and he would take care of us. I was floored I said wow so we decided to go and was actually greeted by Jenny who was incredibly helpful and personable!! She even cleaned my phone. Thank you Jenny I was not used to being greeted this way from the Vernon hills location. I always felt like I was being ripped off lied to and they didn't care. Then I walked into the Lincolnshire location. I felt like I walked into a different planet. Gabriel I don't know how to thank you , no words can describe what you did. Thank you. You are an amazing manager and I really appreciate what you did for us. My 12 year old daughter also agreed she just blurted out how much she loved you and Jenny for being so helpful. In like seconds. Very knowledgeable. Friendly Thank you thank you. All my friends and family and co workers hate the Vernon hills location so I will be sending you every one thanks again. Because of Gabriel and Jenny is the only reason I stayed with AT&T. Love you guys. read more

Do not go here!!! Just wasted an hour here with staff that don't know what they are doing. Came in for a simple upgrade and they pulled the wrong color phone. Did not know how to correct that. Staff had to call another store for help. The said they were both new. Horrible experience. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am not the one to complain , but due to today's experience at the local AT&T store ( 910 Milwaukee , Lincolnshire) I feel compelled to share. I stoped by the store to ask for their help in properly putting on a screen protector for the iPad Pro, which I have just purchased. As I sidebar I have been AT&T cellular customer for 20 years and have been coming to this store for several years prior to today's encounter. The store manager who was the only one in the store at that time and he was not working with any other customers. I politely asked if he can assist me in putting on the screen protector, and he responded by saying that he can not guarantee that he can do it right. I asked what does that mean, and he responded that while he may attempt to put it on, it may be crooked or have bubbles or he may scratch the screen, etc , and then proceeded to add that if I purchased the screen protector from him he would for sure do it right. What really rubbed me the wrong way, it was HOW he was responding : sneering and rude. The screen protector which I brought with me was still in the original packaging , which I purchased from Amazon. I asked again to explain, why would he be unable to attempt to place the screen protector I brought properly, and he responded by stating that he has never put on SP on the iPad. He is a Store Manager ! I have come to this store for years while it was under the different management and they were always very helpful. This gentleman (unfortunately I was too upset about how I was treated, that I didn't ask for the name) was very disrespectful and I really felt he was just attempting to dismiss me. read more

WOW slow service doesn't begin to describe what happens in this location! I came in to buy a charger for my iphone that was dying in my arms at 2% battery power left. As I cradled it, I waited and waited and waited in line as the 3 workers serviced a two customers in front of me. As my phone weakened, I noticed that display Iphones are plugged in. Desperate to save my phone, I plugged it in while still waiting to simply check out... and waiting...and waiting... When my phone was at 50%, I walked out of the store without purchasing a thing. ... 3 workers were still discussing the benefits of home heating system or some other nonsense with the folks in front of me. read more

I had such a great experience at this location. Well, specifically, I had a great experience with our salesperson, Jakub. He gave us EXCELLENT service. He was knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I was there to help my elderly mom pick out a new phone. She can be a bit of a tough customer, but Jakub handled the situation perfectly. Honestly, one of the best salespeople I've ever encountered. I'll definitely return to this location. read more
