I come back first thing the next day, and screen is not in stock (he didn't pick it up), advising that instead his boss is going to bring it in a couple hours. I call back 4 hours later to check on it, and the screen isn't there and he doesn't know the status but he said he'll call his boss. After discussing with my wife, we decide to drive over there and get the phone (about 30 minutes after getting off the phone with the employee) - he doesn't not recognize me ("ugh, can I help you?") and once I remind him of what's going on he says "honestly, I haven't even called my boss". In retrospect, I should have not been surprised due the employee wearing sunglasses inside during all three of our interactions and wearing the same clothes has he was the day before. Ultimately, I found a cheaper and more professional option in Stockton to complete the screen repair, and will never consider RepairALL at any location ever again.

My first choice with good ratings said they would need to keep my laptop for a couple weeks. That wasn't agreeable with me, so I ended up going to ComputerLink. ComputerLink said they may have my laptop fixed by Monday but definitely within the week. I didn't hear from them during the week and returned on the following Saturday - and they didn't even look at it at all. Needless to say, I was a pretty perturbed. The tech called me on the following Tuesday to let me know he's working on my laptop and will call me back when it's done - and I never got a call back. So I again go on Saturday to get a status update on my laptop and they said it's been done - but they didn't call me. They charge $80/hour and charged me for 3 hours. I would think they would call me to let me k is the estimate beforehand - especially if it's going over the initial hour. And highly skeptical it took 3 hours to fix. They took off $40 for their poor customer service but the good news is, they fixed the issue.

So I get here at 5:46 and the owner opens the door and rudely says I'm closed. I said are you serious because I just called and you told me it was fine. He then says yeah I closed at 4:45 today. I said well you told me it was fine and I get here at 4:46 and then you just say I closed early and shits the door! It was a simple transaction yet he wouldn't help me. I could never turn away a customer that I told it's ok to come in! I am so upset, now I have to wait til Monday to get a battery for my husbands truck. I will definitely not be coming back here! The shop, like all Chicos was beautifully designed, and had all the inventory gorgeously displayed. The styles range from classic timeless, resort wear, casual, flashy bedazzled sequins, to night on the town. Chicos is revamping their clothing lines and marketing to target a more diverse age bracket of fashionistas. I could tell with the current summer inventory. The shop is smaller than most other Chicos I have shopped at. But they have a section of Soma lingerie. The lingerie is beautiful, feminine, and quality made. That brand is part of the same company that owns Chicos. Not all Chicos sell Soma in their shop. So that is a bit of a bonus for shopping in the Stockton Chicos.

However, this visit I was met by a cold and disconcerting African American employee. As a shopper who spends $300-$400 per visit my patronage is generally a welcomed retail event. Being more interested in my retail experience, I completed my shopping and upon checking out I engaged this employee and asked if she was new at this store. Her shocking response was "...I an the manager and I have been here over 10 years!" Then she just walked away! Wow! No further conversation to recognize that she was continuing to be rude after never acknowledging my store presence or the large purchase I was making. Had the other sales personnel not been so nice and deserved this sale, I would have walked out and purchased nothing. So glad to not have encountered this manager on my other trips. I returned a week later with my sister another girlfriend, who I introduced to Chico's. This manager was off and it was the usual welcoming and friendly shopping environment. My physician sister inquired about the treatment I'd received and we were given all the information for this manger and full apologizes. However, no defense provided for her which means she must treat them the same! Another rating will follow for the 5 Star followup visit when this manager was not present.

We asked her a few questions and she was able to answer about adding a line to my friends existing line. She eventually called some other lady, a Middle Eastern lady. That lady came in and scanned the phone we chose, asked us if we wanted $8 insurance on the phone and said "okay it's going to be $250. I was confused, no explaining or breaking down what my friend was paying for. I asked "wait how much is the new line" the Mexican lady said "oh $30" okay so then we asked "how much is the phone?", "$150" okay cool. We got the phone and asked for the number of the phone and the middle Eastern lady goes "just call yourself" girl...we left until we realized they never gave us a receipt. I go back in and asked the Middle Eastern lady for a receipt and she goes "oh I'll text it to you"...text me it? With what number? I never gave you a number? Then I'm just like "can I just have the physical?" And she looks at me all confused and grabs a paper LITERALLY WRITES "The phone model + bill + activation fee + tax" and at the bottom "$255" no price breakdown or nothing. Also a different price? First $250, my friend's bank statement says $260 and now this HAND WRITTEN receipt says $255? THEN, I ask for a price breakdown and she pulls out her phone calculator and starts typing numbers in until it hits $255. Be so for real. I asked her "okay but she was charged $260 so I'm having a hard time understanding why she was charged that amount when you say $255" and she goes "oh....theres an ATM fee" HUHHH "what percentage"..."uhhh I don't really know" I go back outside to my friend and I go "bro, let's just return this" and while we're talking the new phone starts blowing up by the middle eastern lady going "oh there's no atm fee, it was the SIM card fee" .... We walk back in and I go "can we just return this, because nothings adding up."
