This store is TERRIBLE. Do not come here. The lady helping us, Scar, didn't even know what she was doing. she is unprofessional and rude. she's new and claims that people leave bad reviews about her. She was trying to transfer my information from one phone to another. She had to go and ask for help from other people because she had no idea what she was doing. Worst customer service from the moment I walked in. The place was EMPTY. The service representative was sitting texting on her phone and didn't even acknowledge me. Do not go here. Do not buy products from this store. If you do, make sure to check your bill because they are adding device protection to every purchase whether you consent or not. Latest example, we purchased an iWatch online and used this store to set up the wireless service. First month bill included $25 in "protection insurance". The damn line fee is only $11 a month! The worst AT&T storefront I have ever encountered. The woman working there yesterday 7/30/2024, was rude, admitted she couldn't do anything I asked her help for, and treated me lesser than I believe any customer should be treated. The two gentleman giggling and joking around at the next table also listened in but didn't chime in to help me. As it was just me in there, I would assume someone would hear my issues and provide customer service, but that wasn't the case. I believe after 3 years with AT&T, I have never experienced a moment of leaving the carrier until yesterday. I am a chill guy, I like to pay my bills, and provide loyalty to brands that provide quality. Yesterday, I was super close to losing it with AT&T because they were overcharging me for something out of my control. As I attempted to explain the situation to her, she never once made me feel like there was a solution other than abiding by the corporate scam that was being ran. At other locations such as Culver City and Venice, they have provided so much value and service that I commend their help, even to this day. Sadly, I find this location to be the worst one I have ever had the experience of walking into. Diana was great at transferring data from my broken old phone to my new one. When my phone was dropped earlier that day it was so badly damaged that it seemed to be possessed. No joke. It was calling numbers of people I hadn't called in years! Diana was able to figure out how to get past the hurdles to link the old and new phones to my google account so everything could be transferred. Everything! She is very tech savvy and provides excellent customer service! read more

I was hoping to buy a wireless charger because one of my old phones' charger port was broke. I bought it, and it still did not work. I got some of what I needed, but left unsatisfied. I needed a new blue tooth (I misplaced my old one and after 3 weeks of looking for it, I decided it was time to get a replacement). The second item I needed was a new charger for my car with dual port. So, this is how it went... I walked in there. A young man approaches me immediately asking me if he can help me. I said: I am looking to get a blue tooth. He says: "A blue tooth?" Me: Yes, a bluetooth. Him: You are looking for a bluetooth? Me: Yes Him: I don't know. Me: You don't have blue tooths? Him: I don't know (as he walks towards the items in display against the wall. At that point I immediately spot the item I am looking for. I turned to him and said: Is this the only one you have? And he looked lost. He went away. I assumed he was looking for an option to the only blue tooth item I had found. But, in turned he came back with a key to unlock the item from the wall. And said: Is this all? I decided to say... yes, I'll take it - for there were no other options. And with the hopes to have a better experience I asked about the car charger with dual port. Wow! It was no better.... we walked to the other side of the store and he showed me the one item on the wall. A car charger with iphone cord and a port. I asked: is this the only option? Do you have it with no cord and just the dual ports? To my amazement, I got a blank stare from the young man and then a soft confused statement saying: hmmm, ah, hmn this has a cord and you can plug another one. I just said, its ok, no worries - thanks... I'll take the blue tooth, that's all. And he was a happy guy! I think he was just relieved that I didn't have any other needs, questions or concerns. This store has difficult parking situation. I was greeted well as soon as I walked in. But, the staff is not trained and its not knowledgable at all. And even worst, I felt that he didn't even care that I had no options. Maybe the young man was new. read more

Waited a very very long time. It wasn't their fault (only 2 working). I think since it's by the airport a lot of travelers come in to activate or buy SIM cards for their foreign phones...unfortunately there were 3 people ahead of us doing just that. Once we finally had our turn, they were unable to figure out how to do the upgrade. Instead of trying to figure it out, they tried to upsell another bundle which for some odd reason would solve our problems (we went to another AT&T location 2 minutes away and they had zero problems with our upgrades). I would def visit the store in Playa Vista or on Lincoln before you try this location. read more

Jessica is amazing! I highly recommed her. I am not tech savvy, still on a prepaid plan, and needed a new phone. I knew which one I wanted and after calling two other ATT stores (closer) and also trying to buy it from ATT online, Jessica was the only person who was able to help me. She transferred all of my content, helped me set up my apps and accounts, and answered my numerous and basic questions. Jessica is patient, kind, extremely knowledgable and competent. I've never had such a bad experience at an at&t store. I mean you really need to educate your own staff. Last night, I went to purchase the IPhone 11 pro. First, the guy who greeted us only gave me the options of two phones either the IPhone 11 or the IPhone 11 pro max. I was like 'on the little display, it says right here IPhone 11 pro'... the "customer service agent" looked confused. I should have just left then. He returned with my new phone. We sat down. He looked up my plan. I told him I want the same plan. He then proceeded to try and 'up sell' me to an 'unlimited data' plan. He told me I paid 207$ a month and I could save by switching. I get confirmation texts each month after I pay bc I do automatic payments each month. I told him no, see right here this is what I pay... I even have a confirmation text' which was way less then what he was saying. He then didn't say anything. That's embarrassing for him and your company. Does Verizon do this? After that, He really didn't say anything tho. He didn't review anything with me. I was in shock. Worst experience. Gets worse tho. I need protection for my phone. I just wanted a clear case. So he grabbed a clear case. I purchased it, a stupid 40$ case. Only when we went to put it on it was too big bc the case he grabbed was for a iphone 11 pro max. It then took him 40 min to try and find me one to fit my phone and then one he gave me was NOT THE ONE I WANTED. I wasn't offered a discount absolutely nothing. At that point I just wanted to leave. I then realized I didn't buy protection for the front of the phone. That was never offered. Today. I'll order one off amazon. I mean ppl save yourself the hassle and don't go to this at&t store the workers are untrained and obviously uneducated. I could have done the job faster then him and I don't work there. Crap service! I finally got my iPhone 4 in the mail this week. I started to set it up and it wasn't working. I couldn't figure out why. Since this store is a few minutes away from me, I thought I might as well come in with my phone and get help in setting it up. Right when I walk in, one of the staffers ask why I was coming in and I said that I was having issues with my iPhone 4. I have never had an iPhone before so I needed help setting it up. Immediately, he told me to go home and just call customer service. Um, what? I told him that since I'm already in the store...can't I just get help now? He said that I would have to wait because he can't do that. I take a seat and I wait for someone else to help. Some other lady rudely asked why I was there and I said the same concern. She tells the guy that was originally "helping" me to set up my phone. Um, ok? I guess he now can set up a phone since he was told to? Well, turns out he wasn't able to even after looking at my account because I needed the box that the phone came in. He said to go home and give them a call and ask for him or for someone else. I go back home and give them a call. I'm placed on hold for over 10 minutes. Finally, I speak with one of the people that I was told to ask for. She says to just call customer service. I explain to her that I was just there and I was told to call and ask for her. She said that she needs to help 2 other customers and to give me a number so she can call me back. I ask her if I should just go back to the store and wait in line again if that would be easier. With an attitude, she said that I can do whatever I want. To avoid another trip over there, I ask for her to call back. Well, she never did. Luckily, I was able to eventually get my phone working without their help. Will never go back here again! read more

I came here mid-week, to make a payment on my account. When I entered the store there were two Service Reps, one was sitting on the ground playing on her phone, the other was behind his desk just staring at a computer screen. No one asked to help me, and I was the ONLY one in the store. I had to say "excuse me" and ask if there was a kiosk where I could pay my bill. No kiosk. Finally the guy behind the desk said he could help. It took him 10 minutes to pull up my account info. The girl stayed on the floor, playing with her phone the entire time I was there. I walked into this place after arriving at LAX wanting to buy a SIM card for my phone to use while in the country for a week. The attendant opened up my phone and removed the battery without asking permission, then said they didn't have any such SIMs in stock. She said if I had a car I could go to another AT&T store and get one. She didn't mention that 2 doors down the road was a Radio Shack selling exactly what I wanted (AT&T brand SIMS, even). read more

Was the worst experience I've ever had with a cell phone store. So bad makes me really think about canceling my service with AT&T that I have had for over a decade. I purchased an IPhone 4S 16 GB phone. When I went in Marilyn helped me, I said that i preferred the 32GB phone, but they didn't have any in stock. She said that if I took it home and didn't like it as long as I returned it within 30 days then it I could exchange it without cost as long as it was pristine. I called the very next day and said that I wanted to change to the 32 GB and to please order it for me. Marilyn wasn't there, so I spoke with Christian and he promised he would call me to update me. I have literally had to call almost every day for the last week and half to get any updates, the phone doesn't seem to be available an on back order. He is almost never there, I spoke today with Gerardo, who also promised to call right back, 3 hours later I called again. I don't particularly have a need to constantly be calling a cell phone store, but I use my phone for business and life and it's problematic when it doesn't work properly. I don't want to be the person who is a big hassle, but I feel that even if my phone order came in they would probably sell it someone else if I didn't get there within an hour, since they are so disorganized. They have no customer service, no one returns your calls and I feel like they are dragging it out so I will have to pay a huge fee at the end of the 30 day period if I want to change my phone. I am so pissed that I have to call AT&T directly to figure out how to exchange this phone. They are awful, incompetent and if I could give them negative stars I would. I went to this store to get a SIM card for a factory refurbished Blackberry I purchased from Ebay. The phone came in mint condition with no damage. The sales associate said he didn't know how to open a Blackberry when he went to put the SIM card in. I instructed him to pull off the top back of the phone. He very quickly ripped the phone open from the bottom (this part of the phone isn't meant to come off), pulling with such force that he cracked the plastic backing in two places, exposing the insides of the phone. He admitted his mistake and offered to take $10 off my bill or to file an insurance claim, but my phone was so new I hadn't had the chance to take out insurance on it. I told him I didn't want $10 off my bill, but instead would like an undamaged replacement back cover. He tried to look for one on Ebay but then told me he couldn't figure out how to search for one. He told me to go buy a phone case and not worry about the cracks. I was very upset but everyone working at the store acted as if it was no big deal that this associate had cracked open my phone. I took the $10 discount and went to the next AT&T I could find. I explained what had happened and they told me that an AT&T Authorized Retailer was not the same thing as a normal AT&T Retailer so they weren't liable for the damage, but they were very nice and helped me figure out how to get my phone fixed (still at my expense, for more than the $10 discount I got). They also said that they saw people coming in from Authorized Retailers with stories like mine. In summary, don't go to this or any other AT&T Authorized Retailer if you don't want your phone broken/damaged. Only go to a full retailer. Even the people at the full retailer advised against going to the Authorized Retailer. read more

My partner and I were served by Monty as soon as they opened this morning. We were straight off the plane from Australia and need SIM cards. He acknowledged we had walked from the airport and quickly provided seating for us while he undertook the necessary paperwork. He was efficient and delightful to deal with. The only downfall was that the store only had one employee on and early mornings are obviously a busy time. read more
