He had started taking our phone apart and said the cable was broken and he'd fix it for 30.00. Told him he probably broke it opening it. He insisted we dropped it and they wouldn't give a phone back if it wasn't closed.he kept making up different stories. He called someone over to help him. That person remembered us and the phone and said, yes, he left the case open because the frame was bent. Still no resolution for the other people. They had a perfectly good working phone, still making payments on it, they change the screen and now their phone doesn't work. So mall security was called. They gave the couple their 130.00 back for the screen, but said they would never give them money towards a new phone. So they went to mall security office, so don't know the outcome. So we spent two hours between two complaints. By that point, I think they wanted to get rid of us, so they put a new screen, a new cable and a new battery and wow, the phone case closed perfectly! So, it was never put back right to begin with. They kept saying their was a 90 day warranty, but kept finding things wrong and wanting to charge us. They kept changing their stories, making both customers seem at fault. The security men stayed there until we were all set. Stay away.

About a week later, I get a phone call stating that the replacement screen is actually $620 and I need to accept the overage. It's also recommended that I purchase the $25/month Asurion plan to expedite the service and decrease the price to $590. I need the laptop for work and I've invested a lot into the original purchase, so I reluctantly accept to the $590 price and the asurion plan. 1 week later, I call in to check on the status. They say I never accepted the overage. I tell them I accepted already and they should proceed and order the part. I call again the next day to verify that the part is ordered, and the phone is off the hook. Straight to voicemail. I drive there in person and tell them the situation. They say I still have not accepted the overage charge. I sit there with him for an hour until he puts the order through and actually processes the order for the part. 2 weeks later. We are at 9/23/2022 now. The part is installed and working. They ask me to come in the next day and pick it up. I arrive the next day, and immediately notice something wrong. The replacement screen's clamshell they used is Silver. My laptop is Space Gray. So now, half of my laptop is space gray and the other half is silver. I decline this and tell them to order the correct display. Today is 10/6/2022. Everytime I call to check on a status, the phone goes straight to voicemail. Whenever I stop by to check in person, the store is closed during normal business hours. Stay away from this location at all costs. My $2200 Apple laptop is gone and I do not know if I will ever receive it.

I arrived a little after that, and my phone was repaired and ready the next day with no issues -- so my first experience was positive. Four months later, my screen started malfunctioning with no physical damage, which should have been covered under warranty. I scheduled an appointment online for Monday, drove 30 minutes, and when I arrived the store was closed, even though both the website and phone system still said they were open. There was no notice or update. I called the next day before driving there again and was met with attitude about them not notifying anyone they had been closed. When I arrived later that afternoon around 4:15pm to drop off my phone, the entrance still wasn't shoveled. I had to climb through snow just to get inside. The next day, I was charged $99 by my insurance because the claim was automatically changed from "warranty" to "accidental damage," even though the repair was not accidental. (This was done by the insurance company, not the store.) When I went to pick up my phone, I was told my SIM card tray was missing -- which was not true, as it was in the phone when I handed it over. It was inside an OtterBox-style case that snaps together, so it couldn't have just fallen out. The employee I originally gave the phone to claimed it was never there, while the employee helping me at pickup (who was much kinder) offered to order a replacement. I ended up ordering one myself because either way I would have had to wait two days -- but if the store ordered it, I would have had to drive 30 minutes back to pick it up. It made more sense to just pay the $6 and have it delivered to my house. That said, I want to give huge credit to the second employee who helped me with the insurance issue. He spent nearly an hour on the phone fighting with the insurance company, dealing with dropped calls and transfers, all while still helping other customers, just to make sure I wasn't wrongly charged. He didn't have to do that, and I truly appreciate him for going above and beyond. Because of him, my experience went from incredibly frustrating to being handled with genuine care and effort. I just wish the overall process, scheduling, and communication, was more consistent and professional.

I went in Memorial Day weekend to replace my iPhone 12 with a new iPhone 16 and was working with Devon to upgrade. Since my iPhone 12 had died, it was very difficult, restoring my account both with Apple and all I had on my phone, yet Devon explained to me how to do it, and to simply be patient and everything would eventually work out if I followed her instructions. The hardest part was confirming my identity with Apple, which took exactly 8 days as per their policy and procedures, but once I came back up on my Apple phone, my pass key allowed me back into my applications and it was business as usual. But perhaps the biggest surprise was that my monthly service went from $109 a month to $77 a month without any change in service level Thank you, Devon!

Family Wireless quoted me $50 cheaper than anyone else I notified, so I gave them a chance. First, they wouldn't use the charge port bought from Amazon, and told me they would have to order one because they wouldn't be able to warrantee it otherwise but PROMISED it'd be in a few days. Second, they spent more time trying to convince me to buy a new phone or a new plan - why leave a plan for a broken charge port?! When I explained I was very happy with my plan and I just needed the port fixed, the man seemed annoyed and his pleasant manner stopped. I knew I should have just walked out right then but due to the urgency I prepaid and left my phone with them for the repair on Wednesday. They do not offer loaners - I would have had to buy a phone to use during the repair. I called back Tuesday to see if I could pick up my phone and was told the part was not even due until Friday. I said I would come get it because I was leaving the state on Thursday morning and take it elsewhere and was told there were no refunds even though that is not what the original salesman told me but they would "see what they could do, call back Thursday". Thursday, still no part even though this is a common part and who buys things that take more than a few days to ship anymore! So I left on my trip without my phone... So disappointed that a few days turned into more than a week. I was finally able to pick up my phone when I returned and the phone was scratched where they had opened it and the charge port looks like a bear ate through it. Also, I am no longer able to use the mic to make calls which I definitely could before I dropped it off since I called them on it and they heard me fine. And 9 days after I picked up my phone, the charge port is not working. When I called to complain that they broke the mic and the port isn't working I was told they do not warrantee their repairs. That is the exact opposite I was told when I left it - the whole reason they wouldn't take my replacement part I had brought in with me was because it would not have been covered in their warranty?!?! So I had to buy a new phone anyway because they completely destroyed mine. I would stay far, far away if you have any repairs and go anywhere but here.
