We both showed up and provided proof with Agent Maria. It was an HOUR long trip. They didn't switch the account and said to call customer service. Customer service says you need to talk to the store. Took advantage of my elderly in laws. Signed them up for protection plan on a $60 flip phone. Charged upgrade fees and signed them up for a contract when all they wanted was a new phone. None of the terms or fees were explained to them. When we went in to return the phone they were rude and tried to charge a $55 restocking fee on a $60 phone. The manager Elle was rude and unhelpful. Luckily ATT customer service helped and reversed the fee but we are leaving ATT after this experience. read more

We upgraded an iPhone and they charged us twice for tax when just trying to modify the manner in which we pay for cost of the phone. They will not provide you with the regional manager contact info and the information provided contradicts what AT&T corporate says. Horrible. I went into this store to upgrade my sons phone on Friday, July 19th around 2:00PM for his phone that has been inoperable for over 2 weeks. Phone purchased through ATT and will not power up. His account is up for upgrade just 10 days from the date that i went into the store. 8/1/13. They would not upgrade my sons phone, telling me he needs to hang around with a broken phone and wait for the upgrade as they do not do early upgrades. The manager and rep insisted that this is ATT policy, so i contacted an ATT rep on the phone in their store and was able to upgrade my device after being in the store and listening to arrogance from both the manager and the rep, insisting that ATT will not help me and their store policy will not allow for upgrade. The ATT rep on the phone would tell me the same thing that they had told me, so it's no use contacting them. I mentioned that shouldn't be ATT policy, to leave someone with a broken phone that was purchased from ATT and deny an upgrade 10 days prior on an account that has 3 phones and has been doing business for several years. I also have worked for ATT Wireless in Kirkland, WA, and mentioned that this doesnt seem right. They said "Well, if you worked for ATT, then you should know the policy!" After ordering through ATT rep on the phone, they were annoyed that i was able to get the upgrade and the manager of the store looked at me and said, "great, have a great day, sir", basically telling me to leave the store. I could understand if i was acting hostile, but was being kind and professional in every way. What arrogance. This manager should be fired. I don't have his name, but he's the short fella with tattoos on his arm; basically someone who has serious trouble allowing the customer to be right, and enforces policies that adhere to himself and his limited knowledge of ATT policies. What a waste of an hour. I left that store in a bad mood and have now submitted a complaint to ATT. No customer should ever feel like this or be treated in this manner. read more

The Twin Lakes in Marysville Washington location, is extremely unprofessional. Ali wears extremely casual attire, has a I don't care attitude, admits that she took somebody else's drink at another establishment because nobody had picked it up and didn't say anything to that business. She made promises regarding our phones and our bill that she never followed through on. I had to ask three times for her to send in a credit for our hotspot. Two months later our bill was still extremely high, was roughly 300 jumped to 400. I was forced to call the customer service line only to find out that I had not been given all the information, had been sold additional items I did not need, those items were set up as cell phones and not hotspot chips, credits that were supposed of been submitted had not been, and the trade in value and procedure was not completely explained. It has been an absolute nightmare working with Ali and Elizabeth. I took a total of five hours over two days on the phone with the loyalty department just to get things undone that these two had done in their store. And it created such a disaster on my bill and emotionally and mentally, I was ready to switch to another company. I'm only giving AT&T another chance because I've been with them for 26 years. I will never go back to the twin Lake location. read more

They need a bill pay kiosk like the neighboring AT&T store at Lakewood Crossing. The kiosk makes bill pay effortless without the added fees you get when you pay online. This particular store doesn't have a kiosk but you can still pay your bill, just beware that it will be an excruciatingly long wait because the guys in here don't have a clue what they're doing. Look I bought a LG 6 phone back in late 2017. I have nine payments on an installment plan. I also purchased the phone @ 50% off down from $700 to $350. I haven't entered into a contract with a phone company in over five years. I called ATT WIRELESS on 3/7/2019 to ask to pay remaining balance which should be approx. $120 with the phone being 50% off. But ATT WIRELESS tells me if I try paying off the phones remaining balance early I would owe the full price remaining on the phone of $239. If this isn't some piece of crap bait and switch move I don't know what one is. Well due to this My plans are to LEAVE ATT WIRELESS ASAP!!! My advice to everyone out there is shop around because the ATT WIREESSES OF THE WORLD ARE NO THE ONLY FISH IN THE SEA!!! This store has an efficiency problem. Low energy employees and no clue on how to sell products and services. Sitting in the store for over an hour Allowed me to observe in great detail all the upselling going on and product pushing. The reps were so desperate for sales that they were willing to let their lobby fill up with angry customers. When i was greeted finally it wasn't with an apology for my wait but almost like no care in the world coming out of this gal. No smiles, no cheery personalities. The one guy in their Josh I believe, a manager, was a great example of what I would expect from a rep at ATT. His only downfall is that he was helping his employees but not really helping. He was taking over sales leaving his employees standing there doing nothing. If you're going to take over a sale then free up your employee to help the next person. There should never be two reps per customer when you have 5 people waiting. The tablets!! God the tablets. The employees were buried in them. Its so not personal anymore. No eye contact, no smiles, just nerds trying to visually direct you to their next upsell. I caught this gal trying to cram insurance and a new glass screen on this poor old man. Just sad. She also asked him for the last 4 of his social like 1 inch from me and as loud as can be. No sense of privacy or security. I could go on and on about this hour long visit. In short when they finally got to me I was done in 5 minutes. Efficiency would have had me out of there a lot sooner. I will never use this location for my future business. read more

I would not refer this store to anyone. There employees are rude, they second guess your intelligence, refuse to fix problems, and overall just have nasty "superior" attitudes no matter how nice and professional you are to them. Though, one exception is an employee named Christina. If you do go there, ask for her. I watched her get thrown under the bus by her employees for something she didn't do. She fixed my problem when the others said they couldn't and wouldn't even try. She also kept a professional and genuine attitude the whole time. And even thanked the employee who through her under the bus for letting her use her register. I was absolutely amazed at how she handled the situation. I have been to the AT&T in Smokey Point, Washington 3 times this last year. Once to try and get a booster for our wireless service, second time to try and purchase a cheap phone off on contract to replace a damaged one, and the third time because AT&T Customer Service told me to go there to replace my son's phone when it died. All three times I got NO HELP! They are all about sales and contract and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you encounter a Manager named "Jay" he will be no help to you. My suggestion is to go to Burlington's AT&T store, those guys are awesome and will go the extra mile for you. Stay away from Smokey Point , they are NO HELP. read more
