am having an issue with the AT&T New Independência store, where I have been receiving improper charges for the past six months. The former manager, Alejandro, was unable to resolve it. I have already spoken with two staff members, Igor and another employee whose name I do not recall. They were supposed to pass on my dissatisfaction to the new store manager, Osiris, but it seems they have not conveyed the information, and the manager has not contacted me. I still have this open issue; I remain with the problem unresolved, and no one has contacted me so far to solve it. I am being harmed by this, and I am not receiving the standard attention I would expect as a customer. I want to highlight my dissatisfaction with the company in question. read more

Chris and Yonel helped me for over an hour after closing to get my service squared away. We were on the phone with AT&T customer service for at least an hour before anyone picked up...then another 40 minuite waite. The store was exceptionally helpful, but AT&T helpline is the worst i have ever encountered with any company. However, both Chris and Yonel were very understanding and helped me get the 37.00 internet deal that was about to expire that day. Both employees were very knowledgeable and understanding willing to go above and beyond to help you get you the correct service. read more

ATT told me $69 senior rate for internet and phone. They installed internet and billed me $55 for internet and $80 for phone. They shut off my phone when I complained. It Took me over 90 minutes on the phone to cancel. They don't let you cancel in store. They wont give you pin to unlock and transfer phone in store. My conclusion the current ATT is deceptive and LIES a lot ! Most of the ATT phone help barely speaks english. read more

Do not visit this location. It is not an ATT store but apparently under the name Prime Communications. The staff is rude and unhelpful. They have known scammers working there who placed an additional line and phone on my account without telling me. Unfortunately because it's Prime Communications and not ATT you will be sent through an infinite loop of requirements and bureaucracy to settle the theft that occurred. If you buy a phone at this location there is a high chance the employees will add on lines and phones at their discretion without notifying you. Was apparently lied to about what I signed up for in regards to my hotspot plan back in Nov. Of course the salesman that sold me the plan no longer works here so I had to deal with a completely rude and immature girl, who walked away from me when when I was asking a question as to why I was lied to or why they won't honor what I was told. Sadly I don't have her name and they wouldn't give it to me...a clear sign she was in the wrong for her awful customer service. The manager, Hector, tried to resolve issues but ultimately they have no regards for loyal customers which ultimately reflects badly on ATT. I can assure you I will never step foot in that store and I will make sure no one else does either. read more

5 Stars for Sean being a service-excellence-badass-super-hero. That's right, service that actually compelled me to ask about a post-purchase survey. Yes. I actually asked for one of those annoying things. lol What can turn a run-of-the-mill phone upgrade visit into a great experience that leaves you smiling (and not just abut the new toy you now posses? Sean. That's what. As soon as we walked in, Sean heard the bell at the door and walked over to greet us. I had driven from another store that didn't have the new iPhone in the color I wanted (get that "rose gold" *coughcoughPINKcough* phone out of my face!). That store had let me know about the corporate shop less than a mile away and after a quick call to verify, I headed over to this AT&T corporate store (not one of the franchise stores, so it's got the most selection). I like to describe Sean as a gentle sherpa, guiding me through the dangerous terrain that is a phone upgrade. Let me rephrase that, phone upgrades don't exist anymore, so he was guiding me through the dangerous terrain that is a glorified phone leasing program. Was I annoyed that I could no longer get a new phone every few years based on signing a new 2-year contract? Yeah. Did Sean answer my skeptical questions with humor and patience? YUP. Beyond that, I'm an undercover grumpy old man who doesn't understand technology (see: iCloud). Sean spent over an hour and a half with me and my sister, helping us pick phone cases, applying screen protectors, reapplying said screen protectors when I saw lint under it, explaining features we didn't know existed, and setting up our new phones to look identical to our previous phones (ain't nobody got time to re-install apps). After he got done with my new phone, he spent time getting my sister's info on my old phone. This didn't mean a sale for him, just recycling my old phone for her, but he never gave the sense that it mattered to him or his level of service. Overall, a convenient location, big store, plenty of staff, and smiling faces. Can't ask for more than that! (Ok, well, an old-school actual phone upgrade would be great, but whatevsssss) read more

I went here one afternoon to inquire about upgrading my iphone. I was promptly greeted by a young lady with an iPad. She was very kind and very pleasant. Answered all of my questions about my upgrading to the iPhone 6. But, and you know there is always a but she tried to upsell me on some U-verse packages for my home. I have been coming to this location for many years. Have been there when it's been extremely busy, and today there were very few people there. It's definitely worth a visit if you want to touch and feel some of the new products. I will visit this location again in the future. read more

eSIM I still don't understand the resistance of AT&T staff to activate your eSIM... I guess they don't get extra money for it!!! Initially they acted as if they don't know what I was talking about then the store manager came for help, and they added a new line for me" stating this was the only way" Of course this is just a lie... I had to go to another store and activate my eSIM on my current line. Please be advised: you do NOT have to add another line to activate your eSIM, also the cost of eSIM should NOt be more than 5 dollars that can be waived sometimes. I am strongly considering moving to another company after being with ATT for over 10 years, this is just due to bad experience with few ATT stores in the last few weeks.. They sold me a "New" Lifeproof case at this location that was missing parts! It was on sale, according to the rep, because it was an older version. I found out later that the box had been opened and resealed AND the headphone jack plug was missing. What a hassle. The box was not marked in any way, other than "sale". Everyone knows that the attraction to Lifeproofs is in their being waterproof. ATT knew exactly what they were doing when they put this one back on the rack with new cases. I have a billing discrepancy on my AT& T account 292437956 my monthly bill is $118.22 I have bundled Internet $40.00 and wireless $78.22...However, my bill for April 02,2020 was $132.61 there was an erroneous charge of $14.39 for a International Long distance 12 minute call that I did not make. The bill charge was added from a Gold tier account 534005093695. I DON'T HAVE A GOLD TIER ACCOUNT. I'm a senior citizen male that lives alone and NO ONE has access to my cell phone. Furthermore I don't know anyone that lives outside of America. I have called 800.288.2020 numerous times with negative results several times. Came in for an exchange on a product of lesser value. The person I spoke with was rude. The item I was exchanging was new in box and they still refused to give me store credit that I wanted to spend in the that store. AT&Ts employment structure is pretty much garbage. I know this place must be crazy on the weekends, so we went during the week to upgrade a phone. Michael was our rep, he was super awesome. He took his time, went over everything. Even sold me on AT&T Uverse. He got me a better deal on Uverse than when I called AT&T to inquire about it. He wasn't pushy at all, very down to earth. He actually seemed like the only person working in there. There were a lot of employees just standing around talking to each other, even when customers were coming in. I would definitely go back in to see him. Thankfully I have his business card to double check on his availability. The Store itself was cleaned and well organized. There were many phones and accessories to choose from. My only complaint would be the other employees that didn't seem like they even wanted to be there. This review is for this store, not AT&T in general. I went in 2 times to exchange a new unopened phone. (It was a huge mess that warranted lots of phone calls and 2 store visits but I won't get into that.) The first time, Dec 30, 2014, I was greeted when I entered and told someone would be with me shortly. I was helped by a young man named Johnny. He was friendly, personable, easy-going, and in great spirits. He couldn't help me(again, big mess), but he did advise me on what to do next. The second time I made the mistake of going at dinner time. On January 2nd. There was a huge queue. It was easily over an hour wait, with 11+ customers ahead of me. After 30 minutes of waiting and tummy grumbling I left. I got a bite to eat and came back an hour later and my name was now #1 on the queue! (They must have bypassed me because I saw others who had come in after me were being helped. But I appreciate them leaving my name on.) After a few minutes I was helped by Jose, another young man who was very personable, friendly, and easy-going (customer service= +). Ultimately, they didn't have the phone I wanted, but Jose found another store in the area that had it in stock and set me up with an appointment so I could go there and switch it. The store looked a bit weird because it was huge and there was a lot of space not being used. There were phones, tablets, accessories, and watches on display with some chairs and tables around to sit and wait. But not enough for as many people were in the queue. Also, there were 2 or 3 employees that appeared to just be greeters and were standing around while all these people were waiting. read more

Went in here about a month ago to buy the new iPhone 6. I have been here several times to pay my bill, and I usually don't have a problem, but purchasing a new phone is different. First of all, I was being asked many irrelevant questions. I just wanted to get in and out, and I told this to the rep that helped me. The rep must have been newer, because he went to tell the manager about what I was telling him. The manager came over with him and immediately started asking me about my home and cable which I did not want at all. He gave me a whole argument about the product and why I needed it when I didn't want it at all. He also smelled like cigarettes - straight up corrosion and death. How unprofessional for a manger to smell so badly. He was standing across from me and I could still smell him. I wanted to get a 2-year contract and knew about the next program, but the manager was having none of it. After that I simply walked out. I am disgusted by the manager and don't recommend this location to anyone at all. I don't even go here to pay my bill anymore. read more

The store associates and manager are incapable of helping or even fixing their mistakes! Returning a defective phone within the 14 day period shouldn't be this stressful! Read previous reviews, and saw great comments about Sean - just happened to get him when I went there recently - as my phone just completely stopped charging. Sean was great! Got some good advice on what to do. Super nice guy - genuinely interested in helping. He was very helpful; I have been to this location before in the past, and have always gotten good service. Will keep going there. Went back today for some added advice and help - worked with Melissa and she was very helpful too. she very patiently answered my questions about SIM cards (as I am not very knowledgeable about how they work etc). She was very kind and helpful. Not sure about other people's experience, but I give this location a thumbs up. read more

While waiting in the store, I asked you use the rest room. The employee directed me through the door at the rear of the store. Once through the door, another employee says, "You can't be here unescorted!". I replied that I was following directions of the first employees. I was made very uncomfortable. I left the store. I was there to upgrade my i-phone and iPad. I'll now go to the Apple store. Would these employees treat their grandfather the way they treated me? They lost about $1,500 today. read more

Have been given a wrong info. Branch manager cannot help. Is there a higher manager than can help us I switched to att last October and got two phones under next. This was a branch in orlando. I was told by Curtis that for every number that we port in, we get a $100 credit. For every phone we turn in is $200 each. Bottom line, we ported 4 lines and surrendered 2 phones. I asked him several times, does that mean an 800 credit? He affirmed that several times again. He did not mention that you have to get a new phone under next to get the $100 plus surrender a phone to get the $200 total of $300. Now, am still expecting 2 $100 credit for the other two lines I ported In, but according to them and showed me the promo that ended last January that I do have to buy a phone under next to get the whole $300. Where is Curtis word that he was so sure saying that no matter if you do not buy the phone as long as you port in a number you get a $100 credit? Now am short $200. Went to their female branch manager but cannot help. Their sales rep does not know literally at that time the details of their promo. Am escalating this to their corporate office in orlando. Next time we should not trust their words. We should always ask for a printed copy of their promo and rules. Some people just wanted to sell. read more

Also, there's like 1-2 customers and they tell you it's going to be 30-40 min wait. It's all a show. Then there's 2-3 employees in the back socializing not doing anything. Came her to exchange a phone and they make everything extremely difficult. This is 2017...we aren't in the 80s-90s with cell phones being something new...terrible business model. This store saved me a lot of aggravation by helping me finally fix an ongoing issue with the data plan on an older iPad. The problem was fairly complex and took about 20 minutes to fix, but the staff persevered in identifying a workable solution and getting everything sorted out with minimal effort on my part. All I had to do was pull up an email on my phone so that I could authorize cancellation of the old data plan. Victor Gonzalez was the sales consultant who helped out me and my spouse when we were sent over there by staff from the retail store down the street, and he did a fantastic job. The store overall was a very comfortable place to sit and relax while Victor worked to get the original data plan canceled on our old iPad, and despite there being plenty of other people there nobody had to wait for service because of the sheer size of the store and how well it was staffed. Highly recommend this location for all AT&T service needs for anyone in the surrounding areas of Orlando. read more
