I show up at 3:46 pm on 1 January 2020 to a store with no customers and three employees (Santiago, Stephanie, and Ryan) sitting around chatting away. Why does this matter? Well, I called the store three times and was hung up on. Someone finally did answer and I was told it is better not to come in and to find another store because they are so busy--it would be at least an hour wait. Hmmmm... I ask them if they have any iPhone 11 Pros available with 256 gb. No, they don't. And according to them no one does, which is also not true. How do I know this? My dad went into this store a couple days ago to upgrade his phone. He wasnt wearing his glasses so he asked an employee; Alissia; for help. He described the interaction as rude, quick, and unhelpful. She also failed to check on him again after that. The next employee that offered to help was Joe. There is a manager there named Amanda Sanchez and I have never in my life been more disappointed in an experience. She had me go into her account for a cheaper bill & then put a FALSE insurance claim on my phone. Now my phone is disconnected, lost my number, & won't ever be able to use this phone. She's getting a replacement from AT&T even tho the phone is in perfect condition. Not only that, she won't answer or give me the account passcode so I can at least save my number. Wow... Management is terrible walk in a and had about 7 sales associates sitting and talking while I waited to be worked with. After I asked why I was not being helped and just looked at. I was told that everyone that was siting was a manger. I am guessing they don't know how to work the device or get into contracts I was still confused why they could not get off there butt and help me and my family. Terrible customer service. This is the worst AT&T store I have ever been to. The customer service is terrible and the lines are always long. I went in on Dec 2nd to activate an iphone & a representative named Gaby added a $30 data plan without telling me. When I called to tell the store manager, they told me that data plans are automatically added.. However when I called customer service they told me that it was not automatically added that they added it at the store. If the store representative would have even bothered to ask me permission, I would have added a more economical plan, but instead she took it upon herself to add the highest data plan they have to offer without my consent. I only used the iPhone for that one day and when I got back home I replaced it with a non-smartphone... But since Gabby never told me that she added a data plan I didn't find out until I got my bill which was $45 more.. Bottom line.. THIS STORE IS SHADY. The wait is always long & they don't take responsibility for there actions. When I tried to explain the situation to the assistant manager he showed no empathy, stuck up for his rep that was in the wrong.. & did nothing. I ended up calling customer service for the $40 credit because they quickly verified that I did not use a single bit of data. Needless to say I will never come here ever again. read more

Terrible customer service. I went in for a new SIM card and a number transfer. Then, waiting for 15 minutes, I was serviced and then was told that it was done. When I walked out to my vehicle, I checked to see if the number was transferred, but it didn't. I walked in again, checked-in again and waited another 15 minutes. I finally got a competent Service Representative, who understood my issue and got it done. I did speak with the manager, Humberto, who didn't first grasp why I was upset that my issue wasn't resolved the first time. There has been times where we have scheduled appointments and they still delay the time to call us. Went into this store looking to exchange a defective phone the day after I purchased the device. Waited a solid hour while watching sales consultants walk in and out of the back room. The iPhone I purchased was within the 14 day exchange return policy. Was told that I had to pay a $35 restocking fee to "exchange" not return the phone. The sales person then brushed me off and told me to go to apple to see if I can get it fixed.....Absolutely no sign of any customer service here. I went in there for a total of about five different times. The associates have been friendly most of the time. I think I might have upset one employee once because she wasn't able to provide me with the information I was asking. However, most of the people there are committed to you and will sit down with you and help you make your decisions. They're honest and upfront, and have even taken out calculators to help compare my options. I recommend this location. Sometimes they are backed up, but they help you reasonably quickly given the circumstances. read more

There are two exceptional workers at this location Juan Sanchez and Luis Fernandez. Very knowledgable and efficient. I always request them whenever possible. After 3 separate 1 hour phone calls with customer service, the AT&T fraud department who all confirmed that the authorized user was added in store, then after another hour phone call to the store the assistant manager says that they need to do more research, NOTHING WAS RESOLVED. So I went in about 2 weeks ago to change cell phone providers, HECTOR was the first to greet my husband and I very polite, informative, and wanting us to get the best deal and plan available for us! So thanks Hector!! Now my problem is I went in yesterday with my father in law to ask about possibly adding him onto our lines or if he could get his own service! We went in and had an employee greet us very nice guy I don't remember his name, we were with him for about 2 to 3 minutes then here comes VERONICA in a very rude yet polite if that makes sense way, and totally interrupts what we were talking about tells my in law to go with her because the day before my in law had already gone in to ask about possibly getting direct tv n phone lines. So when she did this I felt so embarrassed for the Other employee!!! Anyways.... here we are sitting down now talking to Veronica ... my in law was asking some questions.... and I had some doubts about the plan she was offering my in law so I asked her about how many GB he would have and about the phone he would have..... and she said "I already explained to him yesterday" in a very snobby tone of voice!! Like wth lady! So I explained to my in law about the GB and how 3 GB is really low n not so much data! Well Veronica obviously didn't appreciate me asking questions..... soy in law asks some more questions n realizes that the direct tv plus the at&t services would be more than what he pays with the other provider he has and decides to not continue with enrolling for the plans well Veronica was pissed !!! Hector said it wouldn't fix my problem and refused to give me one. this was after at&t tried to blame it on Apple hahaha long story short their go plan was a nice option for cheap payments but did not work well with updates, visual voicemail or other options most people like to use on their phones. Nobody at at&t can fix your problems... You will be passed around on the phone by technical support for hours between 5 or 6 people of you are lucky enough to find anyone that has a clue and if you are sent to a store for help DO NOT go here!!! My husband and I were both happy with the service we received the day we purchased our phones, HOWEVER.... They totally lied about the screen protector we each purchased for an additional $35-$40. My husband hit his phone on a concrete step, it broke a small part of the screen protector and when he took the phone in he discovered it did NOT protect his actual screen, we had to pay Body Gaurdz to send another protector ( like we'd want to use it) AND in order to fix his actual phone screen we have to file a claim with AT&T. Don't waste your money on their cheap, useless, doesn't really protect your phone screen cover. read more

INSTEAD OF GIVING MY MONEY BACK IN CASH ( the phone was all paid for in cash) THEY DECIDED THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SEND ME A CHECK !!!!!!! I Went home and patiently waited and that was April 7, 2018. TODAY IS May 1, 2018 and I still haven't gotten her check of $1,194.11. I went ahead and go in the store to ask about the situation AND THEY DID NOT HELP HER ONE BIT. They told me if i got got anything to say or complain call this number.... As a customer who paid $1,194.11 and have been waited for my money patiently they treated her like shit. So we called AT&T customer service instead and found out that the money was credited in the ACCOUNT. SO WHAT THAT MEAN HECTOR OCHOA Just screwed me over. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD PAID $1,194.11 in advance? That is like paying for my household entire phone bills for the whole year. I walked in to the att store super mad and frustrated! My phone kept shutting off every few seconds and I was really upset. The store was busy but I was greeted immediately and a representative came to speak with me quickly. After hearing my issue he suggested that I go to the Apple store all the way in Thousand Oaks! He could see I was upset and he offered to grab a manager. I spoke with the manager Louis and he was very friendly and professional. He was able to hope me with a diagnostics test and software update and I really appreciate his enthusiasm to get the problem fixed and help me feel better.
