This review is not strictly for the store tho they are a large part of the problem. I went to this store to change out the device of one of my cell phones. I have 4 phones and an aircard (data connection for my laptop). Unfortunately, the agent used the aircard instead of the right cellphone device. This rendered my aircard inoperable. She was unable to restore my service and it has been 2 weeks & innumerable phone calls to AT&T. They can't fix my aircard. They won't pay for a new one. Long story short: total run around. And I am their customer for 20 year. I have 4 phones and an aircard. And this is how they treat me? read more

My sons birthday is tomorrow so I ordered a phone to be available for pickup today. I hate that it was this location for parking reasons but I took it because this was all that was available. When I walked in I thought I was being helped until someone else came and told me they don't have phones that are ordered online to which I thought impossible because I have a confirmation email with this location listed. I sat down to be assisted by Shawn/Sean who was bothered that I wanted the numbers transferred. I arrived at 6pm. At 6:45 after this whole drawn out process he tells me he can't transfer the numbers that it takes 24 hours. Why I sat for 45 minutes I'll never know. It seems to me that he just didn't want to do it because the store was closing and decided to give whatever excuse. I appreciate kindness and patience when I'm being served as a customer and it just wasn't my experience here. read more

My mother had a massive heart attack and flatlined for about 10 seconds on the floor of the Doylestown AT&T store. I know. I know. That's not necessarily your fault, but it's gotta say something about the unnecessary intricacies of the 5g family data plan. Now, I know what you might say. What self-respecting and married 35 year old is still on his mother's cell phone plan? Well, this guy. Perhaps it's laziness or me holding onto the last bastion of my childhood, but yes, I am still on the infernal family plan. So is my sister, by the way, and she's four years older than me. Just sayin'. The real sin though was having to go to AT&T in the first place, and that part of this story is entirely my fault for power-using my cell phone to the point of self-combustion. I also may or may not have dropped the brick on the muddy streets of NYC one too many times. So, in an effort to spare my mother the misery of the AT&T experience, I attempted and failed to get a phone on my own. After going to the Apple Store at Grand Central, the Apple technician let me know I could not link a new phone to a family plan without the express permission and social security number of the account holder. That latter piece of intel is the one thing on earth my mother, who is deathly afraid of personal identity theft would ever provide. So, after a lot of nagging about just giving me the damn login info to her account and a few calls from AT&T customer service verifying that her grown male son was the one attempting to hack into her account online, my mother made a family announcement: "I'm buying us all new cell phones. Consider it all your early Christmas present." Protests soon ensued, names were called, tears shed, and cash was thrown on the kitchen table, but it did no good. My mother went to the Doylestown AT&T store with its tightly-woven grey carpeted floors and padded ceilings, (constructed strategically to dull the tortured screaming of its terrorized customers) and bought four phones in three hours. At the end of the third hour she, for all intents and purposes, dropped dead. It is truly a miracle the final invoice didn't kill her outright. How, you can just retire unlimited data plans from one year to the next is a travesty. And the phone costs? Do you assume your customers all have amnesia? Can we not remember the time when phones were, God help us, discounted or free with the plan? Though I wasn't there that night, I can only imagine how the screams and rage and Chinese takeout dinner bubbled up within my mother's labored ventricles, and that was the end of that. She checked out momentarily, and thank heavens, checked back in with the support of the great EMTs and doctors at Doylestown Hospital. When I finally arrived at the ICU from Brooklyn, my mother was escorted back to the curtained room after her extensive triple bypass surgery. After a short embrace, she motioned to me to grab her purse. In it, I found a brand new Iphone 6 still wrapped in its plastic. Good tidings to you whoever you are. The phone lasted about 8 months before slowing down and needing replacement. read more

Had a delightful experience today at this store. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful as I bought a new phone. They explained all the various plans available and helped me choose what was right. Never pushy, they answered my questions clearly and easily, and were transparent about prices and options. After my previous nightmare experiences with the AT&T store at 15th and Walnut, I was very happy to find this store. In addition, I watched the staff work hard to help another customer, an elderly gentleman, deal with a confusing situation he was in with his prior phone company. I was very impressed with their compassion and willingness to go the extra mile. My compliments, Lizette and Ryan! The process of getting a new phone is one that I dread, so thank goodness I walked into this location and got assistance from Shaun Butler. He was personable and made the experience - dare I say - almost enjoyable. (It's hard to enjoy the experience of paying off your old phone while signing your life away on a new one.) Despite upgrading from an iPhone 6 to a 7 Plus, AND changing from my crappy, overpriced plan to an unlimited one, I am fairly confident that my monthly bill will remain very close to what I was already paying, thanks to Shaun's due diligence. It should also be noted that this location is clean, bright and up to date. Displays looked nice and they had plenty of sample phones to peruse. I'd go to this location again if I needed anything for my phone, or when that dreaded time to trade up rolls around again. read more

I'm a little surprised about the negative reviews I just read, my experience was everything but! To start, Tevin was so friendly and accommodating when I walked in. Not to mention he took care of everything for me in a timely and pleasant manner. He even went out of his way to look up things for me online (that weren't any advantage to him or the store)!! I know that sometime's these trips aren't always quick and can often times be a pain in the a** but I would 100% come back to this location and more importantly back to Tevin anytime I need an ATT visit. read more

If you think you can get there around closing and it's ok because you just need to do something quick, don't bother. For me trying to get in between 15 and 10 minutes before closing, the door was locked, one floor person was oblivious the other made helpless gestures, as if their manager had cruelly locked them in for the night. Ridiculous. If I hadn't made a special trip downtown after work I might not be so mad, but now I'm out an hour or two of my time. But that's kind of a telecomm industry specialty, wasting all our time. read more

This store deserves 0 stars. The staff is extremely rude. I've walked in twice in the past two weeks to inquire about upgrading my iPhone and neither of the two people behind the desk cared to acknowledge my presence or offer to assist me. On the first visit I approached the counter and the woman gave me such an attitude while she was shuffling papers around that I felt as though I was interrupting or bothering her. On the second visit, again no one assisted me while I browsed for about ten minutes. During this second attempt, I witnessed one of the sales reps practically yelling at another customer because she was not clear about what product she wanted to buy and how she wanted to use it. Lastly, the store has very few functioning devices on display, so you can't truly compare various devices. Perhaps their service is so poor because they are not owned by AT&T corporate, although the directors at AT&T should be concerned that this store is hurting their reputation. If you're shopping for a new phone or need any other assistance from AT&T, don't come here. read more

Extremely rude and dismissive manager at this place. I came in only asking about a service they offered and she, from the beginning yelled (did not talk) at me and over me every time I went to speak. With a shrill and nasal voice, it's extremely irritating to be talking to someone who does this. She was extremely unfriendly and when I walked up to her as the first thing she said to me was "what's the problem!?" It was downhill from there as I was getting a migraine just listening to her "speak" and I could not explain my question as she was angrily dominating the conversation. I am not sure how a person with this character has made it to a manager position and I can't imagine how she treats her subordinates. As I was leaving I told her I have always had good service at this store until today. What a shame. read more

This is my favorite store, Rory was great helping me upgrade and get my son's tablet set up for our directv so we can watch while we're out of the house. My daughter went to this location to upgrade her phone. She was goaded into getting a "free" tablet that was anything but--it came with a $45 activation fee and a $10 monthly data charge (plus taxes and other fees, of course). She went to return it within the 3 day grace period and they never recorded the return, so I just spent all morning on the phone with AT&T trying to get the charges ($60) reversed. In addition, now I have to call them back with proof of return, otherwise we'll keep getting charged for data and fees. What a scam! Very irresponsible and bad customer experience. Avoid this location and go to a real AT&T company store. read more

Absolutely outstanding, friendly, and for me most important: fast and accurate service from Shaun Butler to activate my IPhone and Ipad. I tried to do this online by myself, and through the phone and nothing was working. So I wasn't expecting it to go this smoothly. But I had some time on my hands and walked past the shop and prepared myself to expect this to take at least an hour. In less than 10 minutes, Shaun had me up and running. He approached me to help as soon as I walked in the store and he was on it. he got it. He knew what to do. and he did it. He was incredibly informed, knew how to help, and was great to just talk to. Don't even deserve 0 star. Long waiting time, the staff don't acknowledge you. You just have to wait clueless if anyone is ever going to approach to register into the walk-in list. If you are lucky enough to be registered before you give up and leave the store, then it's a longer wait until your turn to meet with somebody to get assistance or not. I went there twice this week just to be disappointed with the service and explanation provided by the consultant after waiting for hours. I will not recommend anyone to go to this store. read more

Rory Kelsey is an exceptional sales associate! He listens to your needs and recommends based on what would be best for you. Many other associates I have encountered at other stores want to sell you something ridiculously expensive or something irrelevant to your problem/ situation. But Rory on the other hand explained all of my options when I was deciding between an android and an iPhone and allowed me to decide for myself. He also followed up with me to ensure I was happy with my decision to switch to an iPhone. What salesperson do you know that follows up?? My iPhone 6s tragically wouldn't turn on despite charging it so I went into this store to figure out my options about getting a new one. Ideally, I wanted an iPhone 7 because I knew I had an upgrade but would have settled for a replacement iPhone 6s. After not being acknowledged when I first walked in, an associate called me over to assist me. He wasn't very friendly and had an earphone in the whole duration of our conversation which I found very rude. The first thing he asked me was if I was on my parents plan, then found out I was a partial account holder which he seemed excited about. He then began to try and manipulate me into buying an iPhone 8 when I clearly stated I did not want an iPhone 8. After that, he gave me a sheet of paper with prices and monthly payments on it... only for iPhone 8. I again said, I do not want an iPhone 8 and he said the iPhone 7 was the same just $100 less. I had to call my dad during this because I really felt that this man saw that I was a college student with access to my parents account and was trying to take advantage of me. While on the phone, the associate was visibly irritated that I wasn't falling for it. I explained that I wanted to use my insurance to him and just replace my phone the cheapest way possible and brought up the insurance program. He got snappy after that and said he could sell me an iPad for $200, which I obviously I didn't want. Then I said well I'm just going to do the insurance thing then, he gave me the information and said "good luck with that" probably about 3 times before I left. Overall, not helpful at all. Was only interested in making commission instead of actually listening to what I wanted and helping me. Acted like a child throwing a tantrum after not getting what they want. Never going back. 0 stars. read more
