We've had Cricket for 2 yrs. My son wanted to get a new phone because he's had the same one since we signed up for service. Cricket charges an "upgrade" fee on top of their "retail" prices. Now I could understand if we'd just purchased a phone and wanted another but after 2 yrs, a cell phone is often almost unusable and obsolete. To top that, you go into the store to voice these concerns and are met with rudeness and just plain attitude. That's what occurred yesterday at this site. I don't know if the female (apologize for referring to gender but there was also a male associate and since I was treated so poorly by the female, I wanted to make it clear which of the two was responsible as I didn't get her name) associate was having a bad day or if this is how she normally treats customers but she was just defensive, argumentative and could not care less whether she sold a phone or even if we stayed with Cricket. This is even more appalling if she is the store manager! For the price, Cricket is a good deal with decent cell service. But don't go in expecting to be treated anywhere close to respectful.

I said I dropped the phone over two years ago but they said it does take time for the damage to get worse over time. I suppose that's what happened in this case. They ordered the part and it came in within two days. Once they called, I asked if I could bring the phone in that day and they said yes. They got it repaired in one hour. Great friendly service.
