The second person who assisted me was Justin, the first person was Genesis. Unless you just want to buy something, they can't handle many issues. So annoyed... I stood for awhile, then two more people came in and one of the employees went to get them chairs, and never offered me one. Their welcome sign says "We are glad you are here." I'm not. The level of unprofessionalism, cruelty, and outright meanness displayed by one of your employees was beyond unacceptable. My friend, a paying Verizon customer, was simply following standard procedure by handing over her ID when asked. Instead of processing the request professionally, the employee looked at her ID, then at her, and said, "You look different." My friend, caught off guard, responded, "Okay." Then, in an absolutely disgusting and inappropriate moment, the employee said, "You used to be prettier." And to top it off? They shrugged and added, "Sorry. It's true." Are you kidding me? What kind of business allows their employees to insult customers to their faces? This isn't just unprofessional--it's mean-spirited, demeaning, and completely unacceptable in any customer service setting. This employee should not be working in a role that requires any level of professionalism or human decency, because clearly, they lack both. I sincerely hope Verizon takes immediate action to address this. BE WARNED! This is not about any one particular store. It's about Verizon's online credit…read moreverification process. BE WARNED! If you go online to sign up for a cell service plan and new iPhone, as a new customer BE WARNED! Before checkout you'll be asked multiple choose questions and past loans and loan terms. If you guess wrong on any answers, you will be denied credit towards your new phones over the 36 month contract. What that means is YOU'll HAVE TO PAY UP FRONT FULL COSTS OF THE PHONES and will not be eligible for any 'phones on us' promotions. Got 850 credit score on all the credit bureau reports? DOES'NT MATTER! Called 4 different Verizon service numbers before I finally got a real person in the credit application review department. There was no kind of ID, bill in my, name, lease, credit report, etc. they offered to review to override the denied credit application. I was told I had two options. Wait 60 to 90 days to try on line or in store again or pay up front for full cost of two iPhones. LESSON LEARNED: If you go online for to try to take advantage of Verizon new customer phone plan and get credits towards purchasing iPhones, HAVE A COPY OF YOUR CREDIT REPORT IN FRONT OF YOU TO CONFIRM YOU ANSWER THE MULTIPLE CHOiICE QUESTIONS CORRECTLY. Otherwise the automated process of credit check will flag you as a credit risk should you chose the wrong answer about the terms of some loan you took out decades ago! After being a customer for decades, and being treated like dirt while Verizon chased new customers, we left for good. Staying in an Air BnB for a few days, and the owner's internet is out because of a new "upgraded router" Verizon insisted on selling to her, and once again we are reminded just how awful Verizon is. Truly a terrible company.
