Switching from T-Mobile to AT&T was a huge mistake. We were quoted a monthly rate -- but after two months, our bill was over $100 more than promised. When we brought it up, AT&T said they couldn't help us. At that point, we were already locked in. It's clear the reps only cared about making a sale and getting their commission, not about honesty or helping customers. Please be careful. Get everything in writing if you even consider AT&T -- and expect that once you sign, you're on your own. I wish we had known before getting stuck with a much higher bill. read more

ATT constantly sends door to door sales associates to my apartment complex. They do not respect the no soliciting signs. They get hostile and aggressive when asked to leave. ATT acts like they can't help or address the actions of their door to door sales associates, wearing their branding and selling their products because they are hired from a "marketing company". I would avoid a company this desperate, also I've had their cellular service and it is horrendous. Their fiber is slow with poor upload speed and random disconnects. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

Big scammers, I got a new phone last week and the phone has been shutting off periodically acting glitchy, and not hearing my messages properly. Got Att fiber for my home. A sales rep showed up during the installation, and manipulated me into switching my cellular also. He lied to me and said they would pay for my old phone, then Verizon ended up sending me to collections saying I owed $850 for my old phone. The sales rep (Joel) also took another old iPhone I had and said I would get credit for that too. He sold it and kept the money for himself. This review isn't about this store in particular but this sales rep used shady tactics and took advantage. There's always a bad egg in every batch, and I hope Joel gets better training read more

I stopped by this store last Saturday at 11:00 am (when the store was supposed to be open.) Waited until 11:20 am when a female finally went to the door and opened the store. Walked in with a line of customers waiting and no mask. I was not able to wait any longer on Saturday so I returned today at 2:20 pm to find that the store was again not open during the posted business hours. There was a note on the door stating that they would return at 3:02pm because they were out for lunch. I was hoping to have some phone issues corrected that I have been having with ATT. The hold/wait time if you call in for help can be an hour or more. I think this was a sign that it's time to switch to another carrier and not waste anymore of my time. read more

This store is garbage. Eddie, the manager is a liar. Fiance got a apple watch, if was supposed to be free, after service credits. They never processed the credit. This so called manager is a joke. Said he would resolve the issue, it's now been weeks. He is dishonest and should be terminated. We turned in a old iPhone to get a free phone. Standard procedure is they are supposed to give a receipt. They didn't. Still being charged for a phone. The store will not return calls. Typical horrific AT & T service. After nearly 1 1/2 decades with ATT finally got fed up enough with their foreign call center services to move my accounts to T Mobile. Wow! Kicking myself for not dumping AT & T years earlier. Pricing isn't even close to competitive and the service is worse. After switching all my lines and iWatch to T-Mobile I drove to this store to make sure all lines and account were closed. This morning, got yet another bill from AT T for my watch line Call center in the Philippines explain that it was somehow my fault for not calling sooner to cancel my watch line. But, I had called AND personally visited this store. Deafening silence from the Supervisor at the call center. Only thing he could say was "I assure you it is done now! But, yes, of course you still owe us." I'll NEVER use another AT & T service for as long as I live even if it means tying my messages on the back of a snail and sending him on his way. Super nice staff, though maybe not everyone is very knowledgeable about promotions. I came in for an upgrade. I was told repeatedly that I qualified for a free iPhone 13. I came in, upgraded, turned in my old phone. Did everything I was told to do. Then the bills start. In the last 4 months I was notified by Customer Care that 1.they never received the phone that was handed to the rep in store 2. I don't actually qualify for the promotion I was told in store and that they should've known 3. I need to continue paying for the phone I was told would be free. I've been with AT&T since the days of Cingular Wireless and have never had this many issues with an upgrade. But they were nice... so, maybe just buy some headphones or a phone case instead? read more

Chad, the manager of this store is very impolite and unprofessional. He helped me order a new iPhone but I found out a week later that he processed it incorrectly. After approaching him saying that my transaction number is incorrect he blamed ups on that. The transaction number is not from ups it is AT&T. During the conversation he told me "your iPhone color is not popular so of course you shouldn't care if your order was not processed". I asked to speak to his manager and he said he's not available. At the end of the day, he processed my iPhone order incorrectly and it was supposed to be placed the week it came out... I never got a refund and he was no help. He should have admitted he processed it wrong instead of being in denial. Very unprofessional. read more

What a trash store. We've been dealing with an employee's misinformation from this store when we upgraded one of our phones last year, which still hasn't been resolved due to misinformation, or rather, not walking us through the proper steps for trade-in outside of the store through their website. On top of that, I just found out today that this employee lied once again and upsold insurance to us to cover 4 devices (we only have 2 phone devices) and said that it would cover other devices such as tablets and laptops. We've been overpaying this insurance for 12 months. I've called At&T almost every month for the past year to get it resolved. We will be switching all of our plans and internet elsewhere due to the headache. read more

Oh how I dread the process of upgrading phones. To make matters worse, I made the decision to move back to an iPhone (after a horrible experience with a Pixel) and to also switch carriers. However, the sales associate (Daniel) created a great user experience! I don't know what it is these days, but customer service has really gone down hill. I purchased a phone from another AT&T store and came here to return my old phone to get the rebate. I wasn't buying ANYTHING so there was no commission to be made and Alex knew that from the start, yet he still provided me with excellent customer service. I was waiting for him to try and sell me something to make his kindness worth his time, but he didn't. He was just nice from start to finish. That's it. I'm a new AT&T customer; just switched from Sprint because the customer service was HORRIBLE. Alex has set the bar pretty high and at this point I'm glad I made the switch! read more

Chad promised that we could bundle discounts including firstnet, internet, AARP and etc. and combined my family's accounts but we came to realize that this was all a LIE in order to make a sale. This comes after having to talk to multiple people at AT&T via phone and face-to-face. Then we had to go to another store to get everything fixed by someone who was actually competent and honest. Turns out, AT&T does not bundle discounts and hasn't for YEARS. When confronted, he wouldn't print our receipts from the account, couldn't give us a quote, refused to escalate the issue. There was a reason there was pee outside the store door when we arrived. Please don't waste your time with Chad or this AT&T store. Honestly, just go to T-mobile or other carrier to save yourself headache. read more

I had a very poor experience with the manager at this store. I didn't believe that you had to buy an unlimited plan to trade in your phone(turns out you don't) and said to the person helping us that I would call ATT corporate to confirm. Despite this I went on to purchase new iPhone 13 phones paying full price for these on my plan. As my twins were transferring their data onto the new phones, I sat down and was looking at my own phone. The manager came out and said to me he heard I was having a problem with the upgrade policy. I said, it's ok I will call corporate about this. He insisted that he show me the policy. I said no, I prefer to call corporate and not have this conversation with him. He then said that he would have to ask me to leave the store. I said, why would I have to leave the store? I was sitting here quietly minding my own business when he interrupted me. He replied that the store has the right to refuse service to anyone to which I replied so I have to leave because of what reason? He then marched over to his register and I guess was bringing up the policy. The twins were finished transferring their data and we got up to leave. This guy then starts reading the policy off out loud embarrassing me in front of other customers. We walked out. I will file a complaint against this manager. You can find better stores who have great customer service. Trust me that this isn't the place to go. read more

DONT BUY ACCESSORIES FROM LOCATION NOR ONLINE!! If you lose the paper receipt, the fine print says your order number, ur invoice number, nothing else counts unless u have a transaction number. What's that? It's a number not included in your order, not in your emails, not on your account, and if u call att they can't access it either. It's basically just a made up thing to make u THINK it's ok if u lose the original paper receipt. Got a picture of your receipt? Doesn't count. The fine print says you have to have the paper original. Want a return label? Only works if you bought a phone, nothing else. I tried to do a same price exchange, nope. Although when I called, they said the in-store guy was just being a jerk and an exchange should have been fine because they can do a j-out or warranty exchange. But the thing is, the workers don't wanna spend time to help you like that because they get paid commission. THEY WANT U TO BUY MORE FOR COMMISSION. This is also a FRANCHISE and not a CORPORATE location so they don't get trained the same and suuuper care about money. The goal is to sell more and not return. Att even admitted this when I called them because he used to work at the store too. Don't go here. I'm switching to T-mobile. read more

Buyer be ware. This store is an authorized retailer. Staff withholds valuable information and does not give you the honest or full story related to your plan/phone. Not to mention on the website it says they close at 7 but each day I went in they said they had to close at 6, so I felt rushed to leave work early for no reason. My phone screen cracked to the point where I couldn't use it. I did not have a phone for 5 days because of this store. I first went on a Monday and something with their "server" was down so I couldn't pay my remaining balance in order to upgrade my phone. I went in every day after work until Thursday because I was "promised" it would be fixed by the next day and the manager, Alex, "promised" me a discount or reimbursement. I went in Thursday after work. Alex was not there. He could not give me any discounts unless he was there and told me to come back the next day. In addition to getting strung along for close to a week, they informed me I could not trade my phone in unless I went and got the screen fixed. I went to a corporate AT&T store where they said I could trade my phone in with the cracks as is. I have never had a worse experience at a store in my life. If you're thinking of going to this store, DONT. Instead, go to an actual corporate store where you will be treated with honesty and respect. read more

This is our neighborhood AT&T store. I have been with AT&T since they were PacBell and I can tell you this is BY FAR the best customer service I have had with an AT&T store...ever. On our last visit Albert and Will went above and beyond to figure out why only some of the features of the phone wasn't working. They were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly young men who took sincere interest in our issue and worked until it was resolved. We had been frustrated for many weeks trying to figure it out, but they did it. Very grateful for their professionalism and expertise. read more

I can say with all honesty that I have NEVER been treated so poorly as I was at the Mission Valley AT&T location today. I went in to replace my broken phone (which is already a bummer) and was unable to get even the semblance of help. My visit consisted of waiting for someone to help me (20 minutes) and then having to make 3 phone calls (for the SAME ISSUE) that was not resolved to corporate headquarters, because apparently the in-store service is completely useless. They cannot help you with literally anything. When I FINALLY got my phone issue resolved (again by calling the corporate line since they were unable to help me in store) the manager DaVon told me I'd have to wait to be helped. AGAIN. Are you kidding me? I was in here over and hour straightening out an issue that was their fault, and then they couldn't be bothered to help me? More than this, DaVon is absolutely awful. He spoke down to me, dismissed my concerns, and had zero empathy or understanding for the fact that his company had already wasted an hour of my time. It was utterly utterly ridiculous. To add insult to injury, 3 people were standing around NO HELPING ANYONE while we were asked to wait. Indeed, DaVon himself started to slowly stock the shelves in front of us instead of helping me. Needless to say, I lost it. I will NEVER come back here again and I am so angry at the way I was disrespected I can't even properly put it into words. Seriously. Never go here. read more

I usually really dislike going to AT&T stores. I always leave feeling really disappointed and not getting what I wanted. To make a long story short, the Apple store told me I had to buy the iPhone X at the AT&T store because of my upgrade program. It was pretty bogus- they wouldn't let me pay them out of my current iPhone plan to get a new one even though my phone was completely dead. I was 10 days away from my 30 month plan being up. I went to AT&T and was immediately helped by Alberto. I told him my situation and he really listened AND he knew the exact issue I was talking about. He was so incredibly helpful and didn't just tell me to wait until the period was up in 10 days (like they did at 2 other AT&T stores earlier this year). He gave me options, he was going to call AT&T management and urge them to waive the block on my account so I could pay out of my plan that day. He said if that didn't work he would give me a phone to borrow for those 10 days. He was able to get the block waived and I was/am so relieved. He is so knowledgable and I would really recommend seeing him for any phone issues. He is not just another person working at AT&T and telling you no without having a solution. He was so much more helpful than any AT&T employee I have ever interacted with, and it's because he really understood my issue and also found it to be ridiculous that I could not get an upgrade so he figured it out for me.
