I came in to upgrade my phone and this store usually has Staff that are easy going and friendly. However today when I came in, we talked to this guy with a combination of light skinned Hispanic Gentleman with curly dark brown hair. who, I don't know if didn't like people who were Islamic people or if he was buzzed by smoking to much Weed, not being professional at all. Really disappointed with this AT&T location. I went in for what should have been a simple trade-in for my iPhone after upgrading online, and the employees completely turned me away saying they couldn't help because the order was placed online. What's frustrating is that I later spoke with AT&T customer service, and they even told me that was strange because this is a corporate store and they should have been able to assist me. Over the years I discovered when you do an online order for pickup at a store, when you go they'll find some excuse to cancel the order and redo it in the store. I found out from a manager this was because of their commissions. So yesterday I was told my online order wasn't processed because only the manager can do online orders and he wasn't going to be there and of course they offered to redo it. I said no, I'd wait. But not Anthony De Jesus in the Santa Ana store. Anthony resolved a months-long phone transfer issue that had stumped multiple departments. He asked the right questions, tried multiple solutions, and solved it in minutes. No deflection. No delay. No passing it along to the next AT&T representative. I called this location and spoke with Brandon, who told me that unfortunately they didn't have it, but he explained to me how I could go to the Apple Store if I couldn't find it elsewhere & explained everything I would need to do. Before hanging up, he told me he was going to call a different location for me just to double check that store didn't have it. While I did not expect anyone to make a phone call for me, Brandon really went above any beyond to help me find this phone or give me other options to find it. The worst service ever. They promise you everything possible to sign up with them. But, when it comes to deliver, they try to give you runaround and hoping you give up. I was verbally promised by the shift manager "Natalie" that she would cover initiation fees for all of my lines transfers in April. This manager left this store and totally ignored what she had promised. After several months of delays and lies, she finally referred me to another manager named Edgar. Edgar happened to be so unprofessional, rude, unwilling to take any steps to resolve this matter. The way Edgar acted, I am not sure why ATT allows such individuals to work for this company in this role since ATT is not a bad.company. The worst phone carrier I've ever used. Avoid this location they incorrectly bill and scam customers. We've been helped twice by Jose at this location. Each time he seems normal and friendly but our phone bills have not been accurate since the first time he helped us. We've had multiple issues from phone without service and unpredictable charges. When I came in originally and got a new phone he told me and my husband if we had cash he had phone accessories. I came in to get my phone info onto my new one and they wanted to charge $25. We recently opened a new line and specifically requested that AT&T Next be added to the account. Unfortunately, it wasn't added as requested. I called the store spoke to Ana who initially helped us and assured us to that if we came back to the store, look for the store manager Edgar, they would take care of it. On New Year's Day, we made the hour-long drive, only to be told by Edgar that it was now past the 14-day window and they could no longer add it. If he had properly addressed the issue in the first place, we wouldn't have wasted our time and effort. This manager displayed poor customer service, refused to take accountability for the mistake, and left us deeply frustrated by the lack of resolution. We switched to at&t for this poor service. My family doesn't have any AT&T service but one of your workers just came to our house a couple minutes ago to try to sell us the service or whatever, we were not interested from the beginning and we never were going to be, my brother politely let him know that we weren't interested and the guy just kept saying "i understand that" and continued to try to sell to us regardless. He was told that we were just trying to enjoy dinner several times and just didn't care about what we were saying to him. I'm reading the customer review from Jan 1, 2025 and I am shocked. Edgar is a manager? Are you sure? Last Monday I visited AT&T. Edgar asked me, unsmiling, why I was in the store. I told him I simply wanted to have the phone activated. He said, "We charge $25 to have each line activated." Really? I was with my sister last week when she had her phone activated, and when I spoke to Brandon and Andrew the week before, they said nothing about an activation fee. Edgar said, "Well, you're going to have to come back tomorrow and talk to Brandon." I told him I cannot take time off from work to keep coming back. He said, "You can come back tomorrow or you can pay $25 for us to do it today." I asked him if he could call Brandon or Andrew and ask them if they remember our conversation. OMG, this fool said, "Brandon...and...Andrew...are...off...today..." very slowly, as if I was not capable of comprehension. I pulled out Andrew's business card and showed it to him. I asked him if I needed to call his district manager. He said, "OK, I'll call Andrew to see if he remembers you." He left for about 20 minutes. When he came back he walked over to a customer and asked if he could help him. Then he went back to his desk, avoiding my gaze. I walked up to him and asked if he spoke with Andrew. He said yes. I asked, did he remember me? He said yes. (LOL, I'm not kidding, I had to drag it out of him.) He said, Andrew remembers you, we will waive the $25 fee today. Someone will be with you. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because Brandon (the real manager) and Andrew were delightful and professional. And they smile at the customers! Also, in the end, Semi saved the day. But I'll give her flowers in a separate review. Edgar gave me high anxiety. Additionally, what's up with the AT&T reps telling customers to come back another day? Some people need to legit pray to the Lord for some patience, including myself ha ha. Today was my seven time inside an AT&T store I was so frustrated and unhappy walking in. It's been such a challenge. I ordered 3 iPhone 14 pro max's and they were all supposed to be 256 GB but instead I received 128Gb instead (I believe, I don't even know what Gb is) ANYWAYYYYY I believe Luisa helps me first, one of my phone numbers was accidentally transferred to the wrong phone. Then I walked out running late to a wedding with none of my phones working and I needed to come back the next day to transfer the phone back to the original. Enrique went above and beyond, his posture, tonality and customer service really shined. He was incredibly calm, collected and patient. He really helped keep me calm when I was angry, aggravated and frustrated at how incredibly long this process is. Those are incredible qualities in a leader. The best part hasn't even yet begun. I dropped my AirPod in my car in between the seats, and I could not find it for a whole hour at my house. As soon as I got to the AT&T store, Enrique was able to quickly order the newer phones for me, explain the shipping process, AND THEN he came out to my car and literally found my AirPod in like seven minutes ! WOWOWOW That is what I call five star customer service!!! Who does that nowadays!? He went out of his way to walk outside, bent over under my car seat and help me find a missing AirPod that I couldn't reach. Customer service like that has only been around over the last 2000 years and that goes to show that chivalry is not dead. Thank you so much for your kindness and above average customer service. I have never written a bad review but the horrible experience I had with Andrew warrants it. I came to trade my phone in as I was directed to by customer service, and I even had a confirmation email saying I could drop it off at any AT&T location. At first Andrew appeared helpful, but the minute I started explaining the situation, he was very rude and condescending towards me for no reason. He argued all the information I gave him even though it came from their website and acted like I was dumb. He rolled his eyes at me and used sarcastic phrases towards me like "I can't fix other people's messes" and "there's no magic button" when really he just had no idea what he was doing, as any store can accept a trade in after registering the device online. His attitude and unprofessionalism escalated when I asked him to get his manager for help, because like I said, the email said to drop my phone off at ANY store location. It costs nothing to be kind and I feel sorry that Andrew is so unhappy that he takes it out on others. Save your time and go to a different location so you don't have to deal with such a condescending and unhelpful person. read more

The employees here are terrible, including the manager. They were just standing around doing nothing while I was in a rush, trying to cancel my new iPhone preorder. They claimed I had to do it at the store where I placed the order, as if it was some complicated task that couldn't be handled through a shared system across all AT&T branches. I just wanted to send a review in for the amazing customer service I received today. I was at the store to get my sim activated after replacing my broken phone at the Apple Store. I was helped by CARLOS and he was so patient and helpful. He worked so hard trying to help me log into my account. While I waited there for 2 hours (not the stores fault) for my mom at home to try to get the account figured out, he kept coming over and checking in with me to see if the correction had refreshed on his end yet. Horrible service and employees. Rushed me out of the store last night at 8 because they close at 9. Bought a screen protector and they offered to put it on and then did it so sloppy that there are a bunch of air bubbles. When I asked about the bubbles he said that's the best I'm gonna get so I paid for a screen protector that I have to have removed and get a new one. I left my iPhone in an Uber. Went to this store to get a replacement phone. I was informed that since I had insurance, I would have to wait a couple of days for the replacement. Andrew was the agent that assisted me. He went above and beyond to provide the service that I needed. He exhibited such patience and kindness while exploring options for me during an extremely stressful time. I didn't walk away with the phone that I thought I could get but I walked away feeling that AT&T cared about my plight. He gave me a sims card to use in a spare phone I had at home. I walked in to this location for an issue not concerning interest service only to find out that my service would be interrupted soon. I scheduled an appointment for last week and took time off of work to make myself available for an upgrade in service and the tech never showed up to my home. I rescheduled for the following weekend and again no tech showed up to my house. I asked for a number to the district manager only to be told by Edgar the manager that the only communication to a district manager was through email and was not provided with a phone to speak to the district manager. I was also told by Edgar that I would receive a call back in 15 minutes 2 times. It took for me to have to call back to follow up. I can't believe I'm writing this 5 Star review for a Wireless Co Store! I've been to many CO's and many stores. Each and every one was painful and frustrating, but today , was the day things changed. It was all because of Ana and her boss Christian and their dedication to to me (the customer). My situation was unique, difficult, and was going to take hours (2 1/2 to be exact) to complete. Any other Wireless store would have said "sorry there is nothing I can do for you" and moved on. Even any other ATT store. Trust me! But Ana and Christian refused to give up. I have been shopping for a new iPhone 11 Pro Max for a while. I was very glad to finally purchase it at this location. I just would like to compliment my sales associate Mr Jose for doing such a great job. He made sure that all my concerns and inquiries were addressed. I ended up purchasing WiFi and cable as well.
