    I came in to get a phone for my son so he could speak to his father who lives in Europe. We were assisted by Ari who was great very patient but I left for an apt and came back to be helped by Abel. Abel was so attention to detail he made sure our phones had the proper cases on them and spared no energy to make sure we were served fully. He thanked me for being a vet and made the process go swiftly and smoothly. This store is simple the best.

    My monthly bill with Verizon along with all these new devices is cheaper than my AT&T plan without any new devices and a lower plan level!

    SUMMARY: Sub-optimal workflow at Apple wasted an hour…read more CONTEXT: Apple user since 1983, purchased over $100k of hardware. MISSION: Repair hardware (cracked screen on MacBook) SETUP: Arrived 10 minutes early to confirmed 12:35pm appt, announcing my presence to Genius Bar staff every 10 minutes. 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I had this conversation: Me: Is this MacBook covered by AppleCare? Apple tech Jeremy: Yes, and your repair fee will be $99. Apple tech Jeremy: 'Please logout, and disable FindMy'. (This operation failed to confirm using both my iPhone (latest OS), and while using my MacBook user account. FRUSTRATION: After 20 minutes of de-authorization busy work, the Apple tech announced that the MacBook was NOT covered, and the repair would cost $848. So apparently the tech (and I) had confused THIS MacBook with another of my (undamaged) MacBooks that DID have AppleCare. I learned this only AFTER spending an hour inside the store. Such inferior workflow (and fragile hardware) will discourage me from purchasing further hardware and from returning to this retail store. Departing 1:30pm, I shared this feedback orally with the tech. Zero consideration was given to the AppleCare applied to my other hardware, as well as my large investment in Apple hardware. Disclaimer: We are responsible for the treatment of our own hardware. However.... ONE LESSON: Ignore their glossy marketing, and remember that Apple products/humans are fragile/fallible, and will often waste both your money AND (less forgivably) your time.

    Took my iPhone X into the store to fix the LED screen and they were happy to do it. They also found…read morethat my battery was inflated. I was a bit hesitant at first because the cost seemed high, but I agreed to it. After getting my phone fixed here, there were so many things that went wrong: 1. The brightness was set at max at all times, even when I tried to turn it down 2. My phone began dying at 30% and couldn't hold a charge I took it back a month later to address the brightness issue. This was slightly fixed when he reseated the display, but still wouldn't dim as much as it normally should. This was within warranty so I was not charged for this service. I came back soon after (within 3 months) to get my battery fixed and they refused to help me replace it stating that I had no receipt (which they never provided at the time of transaction, but have my bank statement). They also said that I had to pay for a new battery if I wanted it to be replaced. Even with my inflated battery, I did not have the issue of it holding a charge or dying before it hit 5%. I am very unsatisfied with my service at this repair shop. I did not believe people when they said I should just get my phone fixed at Apple, but after this experience I will definitely not return.
