At 10:00am Thursday, July 16th the man working at this location told me they don't do customer service of any kind, they just sell phones. He was extremely rude and said they always have outages and he can't help that. When I spoke with other AT&T employees they were shocked at his behavior. Having bought AT&T's Premium account, but then having the entire service shut down within 3 days, this experience is making me completely rethink AT&T. read more

Very rude unhelpful staff. All we had to do was turn in an old phone as we just got a new one and they kept us waiting for forty minutes. As I walked towards the back of the store to use the check in machine the big guy in there immediately said in a rude tone there is one person ahead of me. I told him what I was there to do and he again said there is one person ahead of me. It was clear he was not listening to me as I again stated what I'm there for and if they could help. He just seemed to have a problem with me waking into the store as he was very dismissive and annoyed with me asking him a question. He couldn't be bothered with me and kept us waiting. We left and will not be back as we are not welcomed there and do not want to deal with rude know it all customer service reps. read more

Cyril is rude and unprofessional. He refused to help me even after speaking with my husband and my husband saying it was ok and he was adding me to the account. He said no matter what my husband did it would not matter he refuses to help me because I don't use my married name. He refused to give me a corporate number and said that his best friend is Manny and he would not care. read more

The AT&T policy and procedures are so bad, it was a nightmare to port my number from one family account and transfer to another account. Needless to say the customer service on phone was painful and useless! Fed up with waiting on the phone for hours, I went to this AT&T corporate store and they solved all my problems, even better they told that I could get an employee discount! Untrained staff person. Phone I drove 20 miles to touch and see was dead and he was to lazy to do anything about it...then same sales person told me there is no throttling on an unlimited account...data is always fast unless there is a storm. Pathetic and wrong. read more

Went to store for a simple phone transfer. The workers barely acknowledged my presence. Had to give up after an hour wait as no one was moving or doing anything. The through-put needs to be improved. Four other customers waiting left while I was there. Employees don't seem to care. Unfortunately this review will not help based on the negative reviews seen so far No one cares. read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION When upgrading my phone, i said that i would rather only buy it if it was in stock or in stock at another ATT store. I needed my new phone for a trip i was taking that week. The workers there persisted that having it delivered would be easy and on-time. On the day my phone was to be delivered, nobody showed up or even notified via text/call that the person would not deliver it that day. Upon calling and texting the number of my "delivery" person to no avail, I called the actual store where it was purchased. Not only did the hilariously uninformed ATT reps not know their own coworkers but they didnt even know who was supposed to deliver my phone... Lastly, I rescheduled the re-delivery and the only available time was 4 days after i was originally supposed to get my phone. It's 2020 buying a phone shouldn't be this difficult smh read more

Scarsdale, NY ATT Store I had a 10:00 appt. on Sunday July 25th and was there before store opened. At 10:00 sharp, this gal Anna came over, unlocked the door and turned and walked away. She could have opened the door, said good morning and offered to direct me to where I needed to be. I proceeded to open the door myself and noticed three employees seated at their pods while a giant TV on the wall was blasting the Olympics. The sound level was so high, I couldn't conduct my business. I didn't know where to go upon entering the facility or which pod person to help until I asked. This very same Anna said "How can I help you"? I had to ask her three times what she said because I couldn't hear her over this TV. Finally I told her the reason of my appointment was to have my new Flip Phone activated. I had an old one for many years and ATT sent me a new one because they couldn't support the old one. She asked for my SIM card and I told her the old one doesn't fit and that there is a SIM card within the new phone. She was annoyed that she had difficulty opening the backing and when she finally managed to pry it open she flung the backing across the table. Anna asked me for my phone number, did a few tricks on the phone and I was done in a few minutes. The fact is although she got my phone operating her demeanor and customer service was awful. She should have directed me as soon as I walked in, could have smiled, could have been more friendly and helpful as I had never been in this store before. Also, aside from her, when the phone was shipped to me, nowhere did it say that it had to be activated at the store location so I toiled with the darn thing for hours until I found out I couldn't do that myself...thanks for the warning! The staff here needs to be trained that the reason they are employed is because of the customer, not that we are an intrusion to their day, as that's how I felt. To me, getting the phone to operate was the hard part and this she did, a friendly greeting and guidance upon entering the store and maybe no poor attitude would have been easy. Also, no TV or at least no sound, because when she asked me to try the phone and call somebody, I couldn't hear them at the other end. Maybe you think I'm an Old Timer with a flip phone that is hard of hearing, but I'm not and my hearing is perfect. I am an old timer when it comes to decent customer service as this never goes out of fashion. I believe you have some serious adjustments to make over here and I hope I never have to return. read more

Covid-19 wise it's great, spacing, partitions etc but customer service wise probably the most lax environment, every transaction should have been triaged to help get the customers in and out at a higher rate so someone wanting to ask a question about there WiFi shouldn't be subjected to waiting 30 + minutes to get helped from a staff who shows zero enthusiasm. read more

Stay as far away from AT&T as you can. Bought a brand new Galaxy 10+ and when received it was refurbished. I have been on the phone with 5 different reps from SLG to Loyalty to wireless loyalty (total of 8 hours including their reps in the Phillipines who do not have a clue) and all within my "Buyers Remorse" 14 day period and their solution... we'll send you a refurbished phone. BS! Their system will not allow us to send you a new phone. Jumping to Spectrum mobile and $20 per month as opposed to AT&T at $40 and they answer their phone with US representatives. read more

I would echo Amit's review - it was a painful experience and I've been paying for the visit ever since. I tried to "bring my own device" and transfer over a number from Verizon, and they had no idea where to begin. I spent over 2 hours in store (apparently transferring a Chicago number is extra-hard?), and in the process of trying out a zillion different approaches the sales representative somehow ended up signing me up for 2 accounts when I only wanted one, cancelling the second account that same day. I got a bill a month later threatening about the unpaid activation fee on the cancelled account (that was only open for minutes) and customer service was unable to help me (so rather than argue for hours I paid the $). 10 months later I tried to upgrade my phone in another "bring your own device" situation but needed a nano-sim rather than a micro-sim. I was told that I'd need a new line of service and they'd transfer the number over. Given how well that went the first time, I decided to drop AT&T and go with T-Mobile (who had none of these issues). The kicker - I got billed an early termination fee despite having a sheet of paper from this store saying I had a month to month contract (why would I sign up for a contract? that would only be to subsidize a device, but I was bringing my own device). Turns out the second account that I got transferred onto somehow was a 2 year term. In short, I figure going to this store instead of using the online storefront cost me ~$300. I doubt I will ever be an AT&T customer again. read more

Short version: Try to avoid this location. The employees (at least the one we encountered, and her manager) were outrageously rude! Slightly longer version: We needed to unlock our phone after two years of service. To be fair to those employees, AT&T makes this process extremely difficult, probably intentionally. After following all the online instructions, in the last step you need to insert a non-AT&T sim that, being a loyal customer to this point, we didn't have. We called customer service who mentioned going to a store could help. So I drove there, with my 40 weeks pregnant wife. Hers was the last phone in our family plan that we needed to unlock. The employee designated to help us said outright that there was nothing she could do to help us. That they don't carry non-AT&T sims, and actually expressed amusement that we were even there asking for help! We tried to explain two things: (1) As it is part of AT&T's unlock process (AT&T promises after 2 years they'll unlock the phones), it is "NOT bizarre" to imagine that they'll provide the tools to help customers do that, and (2) last time I had to do this, a very nice (and smart and helpful) employee in another store figured out a way to do it in 5 minutes... lots of potential new customers walking in, how difficult can it be to find a non-AT&T sim? All you need is the willingness! Either way she said she couldn't do anything. We talked to her manager, Brice - who was basically dismissive and showed us the door. "We can't do anything, have a good day guys". Every time the original employee tried to explain something, the manager, Brice, shut her down, as in - "Don't talk, don't engage these people"... "have a good day guys". He wouldn't answer any questions, or even show any remorse for not being able to help us... just "get out, why you are here" type statements. Seems like the manager was trying to protect the other employee, so I will omit her name. But she was pretty rude too, just walked away before resolving our issue. Wonder if this store trains these people at all, or if they have any customer service aptitude. Well... on a positive note, we were too busy to move the plans to another carrier, even with all the phones unlocked, and my wife's phone soon-to-be unlocked. Brice just made our next course of action very clear :-) We already started researching Verizon and other carriers for their offered plans. We will move tomorrow (or next week, depending on how my wife does). read more

Came from Ossining to get my samsung galaxy s9+ to the Scarsdale location ONLY because of Great Customer Service given to me in the past by AT&T Retail Sales Consultant Sean Joseph. He once again attended to all my questions, concerns and had the utmost patience. The store was very short staffed at that time and became busy, but Sean still took the time to provide great customer service. read more

Had to dump Sprint because of their crappy service in Westchester, so I went with ATT. Sign up was a breeze and I got a huge Samsung Note, which was the most obnoxious smart phone I could find. The service is great so far, but it's definitely the most expensive carrier out there. read more

Customer service at this location is very poor. I had to hunt for someone to speak with. I found the "manager" hiding at the back of the store who rudely informed me that someone was supposed to greet customers at the front and take names and put them on a wait list. When I told him that there was no one at the front of the store taking names he rudely informed me that he could take my name and put it on a list. When I asked how long the wait was I was given a very surly response that it depended on what the other customers were there for. I graciously declined to wait for some indefinite period so I'm off to the Apple store to buy a new iPhone 11 Pro. Probably should have done that in the first place. read more

Worst retail experience of my life I can overlook the fact that we waited for over an hour to get someone to help us and then it took an hour to get our transaction processed and account set up. All we wanted to do was get a phone for my wife and add her to my plan. The real problems didn't emerge until after we left: - The account was set up incorrectly, my wife and I were on separate accounts. 45 minute call to AT&T to fix - Received bill. Now my wife and I were on one account, but they also added my ex wife to the family plan. Another 30 minutes on the phone to fix. - The "free" Galaxy Tab we received as part of the promotional offer - the one we said we didn't want and were assured that it's free - was actually costing us $10 a month. 1 hour on the phone to figure out, 1.5 hours (and counting - I'm still waiting) in the store to return. So far, I have wasted nearly 4 hours of my time trying to fix problems caused by the retail store (and compounded by AT&T customer service) with no assurance that it's all fixed. I came to this store for help getting my iPad at&t plan transferred from my old iPad to my new iPad. AT&T does not make this easy as they don't want people to keep the old unlimited data plans that they are entitled to keep. The employees here were wonderful, especially the manager who persisted in finding the customer service phone rep who understood the problem and was able to complete the transfer. I was sold a phone at $450 that has such a limited memory(8GB) that I have not been able to take a picture , add an app or use some of my present apps (I have 8 apps, no music & no videos) I feel they were just trying to get rid of old merchandise. I went with a sample of the exact phone I wanted (my friends')She is still successfully using hers.(16GB) When you call them you get a message saying "this is not AT&T." I am do not have expertise when it comes to iphones. I needed guidance and an honorable salesperson. My advise to others is do not use this store. read more

The manager is rude. Every time I come here there is at least a 40min wait time minimum, which is not always a big deal but the way the manager speaks to customers comes off rude because she sounds stressed about having to work with everyone in pressured time. That should not be the customer's problem. I do notice that she tends to help older Caucasian people first (particularly the men), even though others have been waiting OR the way she speaks to them is kind and professional. When I come in I just get stared at, no greeting or even a simple "hello" or "welcome" .. I hate this AT&T - they should get the older workers back who were ALWAYS helpful, timely, and professional. Next time I will not waste my gas and time coming here, I will call the company for assistance. read more

1 star but I wish I could leave 0. I came in on Sunday to upgrade my phone which I ended up not being able to do because my phone was damaged. I was greeted in a lame/ unfriendly way & told there was 5 people ahead of me & asked to possibly come back tomorrow. Um no? Im here today for a reason I'm not coming back tomorrow... After waiting 30 mins they called my name & I had Nicole who was going to help me. Right from the start she didn't smile once & acted like she had better things to do than help me. How nice! not. She had an attitude the whole convo & explained things to me like I was mentally challenged. She kept explaining how if I had a screen protector on my phone it wouldn't have cracked and then I could upgrade. No sh*t Nicole. but i didn't have a protected on so move on from saying that. Overall Nicole was horrible/not friendly or kind. She should be fired honestly. read more

I went into the store with my daughter to get her upgrade from her iPhone 5s to a 6. I was met by Tony who helped me with the transaction. He assured me that if I payed off what was left on the iPhone 5 the new iPhone 6 would cost no extra, but would be part of the upgrade (with only a $7.00 a month increase). He repeated 3 times when I asked that the only increase in my monthly charges would be $7.00. What he left out was that he had signed me up for a new payment plan on the iPhone 6 to the tune of $799.00! I noticed this only after going home and reviewing the paperwork. I went into the AT&T store two days ago to upgrade my phone to an iPhone 6. I was greeted immediately by Ruben who proceeded to assist me with my upgrade. I only expected to be given the phone and to pay my initial fees before leaving, but Ruben took time to answer all of my questions. He even took out time to explain some of the new phone features to me and help me to set up a few things on my new phone. Overall, my experience was very good. I've never had such a smooth transition when visiting an AT&T store. I will definitely go back to this store if I have any issues going forward. read more

i had to come to this scarsdale at&t phone store for my brother cause it is next door to tgif and if i say no or i cant then it will be non stop bitching and moaning and nothing is worst then a grow ass man acting like a braty teenage girl. i came with my bros old samsung and he was able to get a nice new advance one and the easy part was having the gal sales rep program all his useless info from old phone to new one .good variety of cellphones , ipad , tablets and phone accessories . plenty of deal plans going on but you do have to commit to a contract but if you don't intent to change carriers then it's a good deal especially if the phone and monthly plan is locked in price wise . they tried to sell me an upgrade plan and some accessories but it's easy to say no thank you when it's not your phone but it's cool cause she was not pushy at all . it's all done in less then 15 minutes and my sibling will be happy with his new phone . read more

I recently came to this store while shopping with friends, I only went in just to look I was immediately greeted by Ruben who was polite. He asked if there was anything he can help me with I explained that I was looking to upgrade however I had T-Mobile. He began to explain my options and found him to be very knowledgeable. Normally when I walk into these stores I feel like the sales reps are just trying to get a sell however Ruben was patient and well-spoken he made me feel comfortable enough to switch over, I left the store that day with a new phone and a gear S2 watch.
