Staff was totally uninterested in being helpful and just wanted to stare at their own phones. Decided that talking to a stranger on the phone through the customer service hotline was more productive. Pro-tip- just do all of your phone business online through the app or customer service and don't allow these people to get paid any more. They're truly contributing nothing to AT&T customers. read more

Horrible service! Zero transparency! I ordered a new iPhone and was told it would ship in 2-5 days. That was November 1st (it's December 16th). I've been in contact with the store manager and every time I express the issues and concerns he tells me he'll Look into it and get back to me!!! At the least 5 times. I was also told my phone bill would be just a few bucks higher than normal... $300 was substantially higher! Again I reached out to ask about it and was told he'd look into it and haven't heard from anyone since! I have no clue when or if a phone will arrive I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!!! read more

THE WORST! I purchased a new Samsung galaxy & they wouldn't even let me take it home that day!! There was some sort of error. My payment went though, but THEY kept my phone overnight with no explanation. Didn't have a phone for an entire day. I question my mind why this place is still around.. it's like an AT&T run by monkeys. They're so useless. Also, they rose my bill an additional 100 dollars FOR NO REASON! I had to call head management on the phone to have the charge removed.. The people here purposely want to screw you over. Also, they pay to remove yelp reviews. They will message you a "50% off coupon" to delete your review... desperate. That is all.. don't go here. Just don't. read more

This is a follow up to my previous review. At the end of my previous visit it was decided that the phone be shipped directly to store to minimize the change for it get lost after the fiasco with the order from the other carrier that never arrived. The phone arrived in 2 days as promised and my Tech Andrew was service with a smile . He remembered my name which goes a long way with me!! Being addressed by my given name instead of "babe" or "Hun" or any of the terms of endearment that are used when you don't know the person's name or are just too lazy to ask. Don't we all prefer to be spoken to with our given name? I took the phone home because my Dad assured me that he was given instruction on how to activate the new phone and transfer his contacts etc. it turns out that he was not confident to try to do it. I'm here again today and have the good fortune of having Andrew to help me against!! He is activating the phone etc no questions asked and service with a smile . I will say it once again that I will always come to the Southbury location of AT&T store. Friendly efficient service that I feel confident everything is done correctly and we haven't lost any of our important contacts etc. Love these technicians and the convenient location. read more

Went to upgrade my daughter's phone and the sales lady, Lucia, was very helpful and found creative ways for us to take advantage of the promotions on iPhone 11 and XR. She even helped us put the screen protector we bought from a different store ! The staff is always very helpful whenever we visit the store. read more

UPDATE 4/27/2018: After logging a complaint with BBB, I received a phone call from ATT "Office of the President" within 24 hrs and they kindly and immediately resolved my complaint by simply honoring the phone/iPad promotion and deilvering me the iPad as promised. Three weeks of frustration and several tense conversations with the store manager - blaming the problem on me and repeating the mantra "I can't help you" - all taken care of with one, 5 muniute phone call. All I got - and all I asked for - was the original promotion as promised. I moved the rating from 1 to 2 stars because they finally resolved my problem, but the overall customer experience was still very poor. read more

The customer service in this store is subpar. I was shocked by the way the AT&T representatives were talking down to other customers while I was in the store. After they messed up my account in the store they left it up to me to get it fixed by calling AT&T Customer Service. Despite it being their error, they said they could not help me resolve the issue in the store. This lead to more wasted time on the phone with AT&T. read more

This place is the WORST and I will never go back. First, I walk in and there are four employees standing around their own phones, and obviously have nothing else to do. Second, and I know it's the holidays, as soon as I walked in they swarmed on my like flies on honey, which was ridiculous. Finally, the guy I ended up speaking with let me know that I was eligible for an upgrade. Then he went through the payment and processes so quick I could barely understand him. That being said, I did catch one thing. While explaining the billing he slips in "and there is a $20 upgrade fee". Let's rewind - I am eligible for an upgrade and set to buy a new phone for close to $700 and you want to charge me another $20. WTF...and I know this is an AT&T issue not the store I was in. I said to him "I am close to buying a $700 phone and you want to stick me with another $20 charge?" to which he replied with a very smug look on his face and an I don't give a $h!+ shoulder shrug "yeah, $20 for the network upgrade." I'm not getting a new phone and offering to support the network. Take it out of my damn $700 you are charging me! Needless to say, I will not be going back to this store. read more

Looking for useless? You've found it. Most of these service reps couldn't obtain a job at Mc Donald's. You end up having to call AT&T (611) and actually get done in 5 minutes what the store folks cannot do. read more

My wife and I went to ATT on Monday, 12/12/16, to upgrade our iphones. The store was fairly busy but we were helped right away by LJ. He brought us over to the new iphone 7's and told us about them. I wanted the plus but my wife wanted just the 7. That was until LJ told us how the plus had 10 more hours of battery life. My wife hated the 5 because of the battery life and the 6 started to have the same problems so she was sold on the plus. We still had the old unlimited data plan but LJ started to tell us about the cheaper data plans and showed us how much data we had been using while under the old plan. We were well under the highest data plan available so we decided to switch to save money. After selecting our phones he set up our new ones while patiently answering questions we had. LJ mentioned to us that they offered discounts to government employees, etc. Luckily, my wife met one of these discount requirements and we saved an additional $20. We would have never known about the discount if LJ hadn't mentioned it. LJ brought over a display of cases which he showed us, helped us pick out one and explained the warranties of each. We also bought screen covers which LJ expertly put on our new iphones for us. Finally, he made sure our old phones were erased and our new one's were set up properly. Overall, I was happy with our upgrade experience. We ended up having to pay the same amount each month but we walked out with two new iphone 7 pluses. I see all the other negative reviews so, to me, this store must have improved since then. read more
