This place is beyond incompetent. I took my Dell tower and speakers because my computer was not…read moreallowing sound. They told me the connection for the speakers in the back of the tower was faulty, but I could either plug it in the front or purchase a blue tooth speaker. That advice cost $65. So I did what they said, plugging the speakers in the front. They worked for 10 minutes. Then I bought a blue tooth speaker. It worked for 10 minutes. Today, I took it back and explained this whole thing and the guy said it was more than likely a Windows corruption problem and I needed to do a complete reset. I told him it did this while I was on Windows 10 so I advanced to Windows 11, but he said it followed. Otherwise, it was probably the motherboard. So I went home and did a reset. I have now completely messed up my computer because my backup info did not save on my external hard drive in the way I had hoped. And after the reset, I STILL have no sound. I left my tower with them to DIAGNOSE, but it seems they just like to GUESS. So $65 for absolutely NOTHING. My friend's mom had a similar issue where they left her to fix it after she paid them...except she needed her computer to first work before she could download the stuff necessary. SO ridiculous!!!! So DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! They are not serious about actually FIXING computers!

I purchased a new phone from Verizon but it had to be shipped. When I received the phone it was…read moresupposed to be an easy transfer process. The instructions told me to turn off my old phone after it was backed up and so I followed the instructions. In order to get the codes necessary to do the download, I opened up a separate phone. The new phone copied the third phone instead of the one I wanted. I deleted the information and tried again with the same result. I decided to take it to a Verizon store near me for help. When I arrived, two employees were helping other customers. The third employee, who I believe is named Robert, was walking towards his desk and completely ignored me. One of the busy employees said that they would be with me in just a minute and then told Robert to help me. Not good vibes so far. When I approached him, he asked how I was and I responded letting him know that I was frustrated. I put the three phones on his desk and identified each one as I pulled them out of my box, this is the new one, this is the one that I want transferred and this is the one that it keeps copying. After I identified each phone, he asked me which one was the new one. Obviously listening is not his strong suit. He let me know that I needed to have the phone on that I want to transfer from. I showed him that the instructions clearly stated that I needed to shut the phone off. He then told me that I needed to delete the new phone and start over. I told him that I had already done that. He then let me know that there would be a fee if they had to set up my new phone for me. Frustrated even more, I grabbed my three phones and tossed them into my box and began to storm off. I glanced at Robert and saw him look at another employee and smirk. He did ask me to wait a minute but I was already headed for the door. The next thing that I heard was a very snarky, "Have a nice day" from Robert. No class, no professionalism, no maturity, and the list goes on. Certainly not good traits to have when you are representing a large corporation. I will not step foot back into that Verizon. I will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Staff are fantastic and knowledgable. There's also a little tub out front with 2nd hand phone cases for less than $5.. Mostly otter box accessories!!! This place I cannot recommend highly enough. Left a note on the door. Go in next day to pick it up. Screen cracked phone in pieces parts are missing. And I was told if I don't take the phone and get out they were calling the cops. Her modem went out after 16 years .She has spent the last week and a half calling the 800-288-2020, which was absolutely no help. They kept directing her in circles. She asked to have someone come out. They said someone was going to come out. They never showed up ! then I went over there today to help her, went on the chat on the AT&T site. they said they couldn't help me and they directed me to the store on Columbia Boulevard. My friend is too weak to go down there so I took her box and I went down there. I walked in , a gentleman walked up to me. He said his name was "Nick" , I went in today, Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 3:15 PM. There were two other sales people on the floor with customers. He was nice enough tall young man. He asked me what he could help me with. I told him that My friend needed assistance, that her BOX after 16 years had stopped working and we tried all the troubleshooting. I had brought the box in with me. He told me there was nothing he could do to help, that I needed to go back and call the one 800 number again. I told him we had already done that and we had tried that for over a week and a half and I spent two hours on the phone with them today and was referred to the store. He just kept repeating "there's nothing I can do to help you." I asked for the manager he said he was the manager. I asked if there was a director or anyone above him that I could call or email. He said there was not, that I had to call the one 800 number, he then escorted me to the door, saying there was nothing he could do to help. Is this really how society is treating our elderly people that don't have the energy or the bandwidth to deal with this type of technology and rudeness? My friend should not have to be made to fly through hoops to get a box that works on her TV. She has two TVs the other TV is working fine. She has been a customer of AT&T for more than 16 years( 16 years just in the house she's in now) she has phones, Internet and TV through AT&T. I don't know how much longer she will be a customer, because she's very disturbed by how she's been treated the last week and a half, and she cannot use her TV in her room because they will not help her and give her a new modem. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the customer service escalation team for AT&T? Spectrum has an escalation team, would seem AT&T should!
