TLDR: Enviro-Tech are unprofessional, they make verbal commitments that they go back on when pressed, and they appear to understand very little about techniques to eradicate bed bugs. The technician was extremely unprofessional and I believe his approach made our infestation worse. He had never heard of sealed mattress bags, and left them unzipped after spraying inside, allowing the bugs inside to rapidly escape before we noticed the problem. He always sprayed chemicals very randomly in the infested rooms, not displaying any system or paying close attention to whether he was addressing obvious hiding places like gaps in the baseboards, etc. He also showed up more than two hours early for both of our first treatments, without warning us in advance that he would arrive early. During our 2nd treatment, the technician attempted to apply nothing except Talstar, which is a very general pesticide. My roommate noticed this mistake and we called the office. The office agreed that it was a mistake, and that the technician was meant to spray CB80, which is more tailored to bed bugs. The technician then took a call with the office himself and informed us that Talstar is basically as good as CB80. He proceeded to spray Talstar only, and leave. Surprise surprise, we were still seeing live bed bugs over three weeks after that 2nd treatment. They can make misleading verbal commitments - whatever treatment they promise, get it in writing. During their initial inspection, and during the technician visits, two separate employees verbally assured us that after the initial rounds of treatment, we would have a 1 month warranty. If we saw any bugs alive during that period, we'd be entitled to a 3rd treatment. When we called the office seeking this 3rd treatment, they gave me a hard time and pointed out that it wasn't in our contract, arguing they really didn't need to provide it. When I continued to press for a 3rd treatment based on their verbal commitments, the office worker claimed that her computer "needed to update" and hung up on me, promising to call me back in a few minutes. After an hour elapsed, I had to call them back myself. Our experience was terrible. I don't recommend this company at all.

I have been a loyal customer for three years without any issues and have always been satisfied with their service. Except for last year when they switched to new management. This time when I received the bill it was $50.00 more then the previous year for the exact same service. This price increase was never brought up when I created the appointment and in fact when I asked the receptionist if the cost would be the same from the previous year, she stated YES. After leaving numerous messages and continuing to call for two weeks, I was finally able to resolve the issue after an hour long conversation with the office manager. No one from Alexandria Lawn Service ever returned my calls. Now, fast forward to this year. We receive a contract from Alexandria Lawn Service for lawn mowing. We did not sign the contract and called their company to cancel service. We thought this issue had been resolved by the conversation we had with the receptionist. We were wrong. Alexandria Lawn Service still came by and mowed my lawn twice. I called and spoke to the receptionist again stating that I wished to not continue service as I requested earlier on a previous call. This time she stated cancellation needed to be in writing and required 30 days notice. I asked why this was not brought up on my initial phone conversation when I called to cancel service. She did not have a response!!!! But wait, it gets better. The initial contract Alexandria Lawn Service sent for this year was for $30 a mow. This is the same contract I did not sign as I wished to cancel service. I then received a bill from Alexandria Lawn Service for the two mows at $40 a mow. Where the hell did $40 a mow come from??? I then pulled out the contract they sent me this year which was never signed and returned. If you read the fine print on the contract, it states if the service being provided changes or the price of the service changes then a new contract needs to be signed, otherwise you are automatically renewed against the contract from the previous year. Last time I checked $30 does not equal $40. Once again I have left numerous messages for Pam "office manager" with no returned calls. This is now the second time "new management" has switched prices without notification. Based on this improper billing practice and lack of communication I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for lawn service to take their business elsewhere.

Three treatments and $1200 later, our bedbug problem was not just unaffected, but actively MADE WORSE by the technicians utter incompetency and lack of care. I'm writing this review to spare others the expense, pain, itching, and emotional drain of dealing with this totally incompetent and untrustworthy company. MyExterminator, AKA Enviro-Tech Pest Services (Both companies in the contract) portrayed themselves as experienced bedbug professionals who assured us their treatment would easily take care of our bedbug problem. After forking over $1200 for a 2-spray treatment, we were greeted by Chris the technician, who immediately dispelled any illusions we had about MyExterminator's professionalism. He arrived to every appointment over two hours before the appointment we set (and took time off work to be at home for). He clearly was putting in the bare minimum effort, and after telling us "this will be too easy," applied the spray with utter carelessness and was not thorough at all. He didn't even bother to lift or move objects to spray behind/under. Worse, MyExterminator's technician clearly didn't know ANYTHING about bedbugs. When shown the bed-bags we had around our mattresses (a basic treatment step mentioned by just about every online source out there), he cluelessly asked "what's with those bed condoms??" Worse, the technician didn't have a clue about what the chemicals he was using were or what they did. The second time he came to treat our home, he was so checked-out that he mistakenly used Tallstar (general bug spray for roaches) instead of CB80 (spray formulated primarily for bedbugs). When my roommate caught the mistake, he called a manager at MyExterminator who told him "Sorry about that, we'll have him switch chemicals." The manager proceeded to call the tech and tell him privately "not to worry" about spraying the wrong chemical and that they were "basically the same." Of course the tech told us this and left without fixing his mistake. Before hiring them, MyExterminator had promised us verbally numerous times that the 2-treatment spray came with a 1 month warranty, during which we would get a free follow-up treatment if we found a live bedbug. Of course, MyExterminator's careless treatment was ineffective, and when we called back to ask for our treatment under warranty, MyExterminator claimed the warranty "wasn't in the contract" and that they wouldn't honor it. After confronting them about their verbal promises, MyExterminator claimed to have a "computer malfunction", hung up, and ghosted us for a few hours. Though MyExterminator eventualy agreed to honor the warranty they promised us, when the technician arrived, he once again sprayed in a careless manner. Worse, he failed to close the bed-bags on our mattresses again before he left, allowing the bedbugs trapped inside to escape back into the home. The tech's completely reckless conduct actively made our bedbug problem worse. Take your money elsewhere!

We've not had any issues with bugs, spiders, or termites, and we live in a wooded area! Also, we have a crawl space under the entire house and still no issues. I was embarrassed because I am a very clean person but have been seeing big American Cockroaches in my basement apartment and was feeling completely overwhelmed--especially being stuck at home recovering from surgery. Mike came out on 5/8 to do an interior/exterior treatment, and WOW... these bugs didn't know what hit them!! That very night, I could tell the treatment was working. One roach was already stuck in a sticky trap, and another looked sluggish--until it crawled onto the ceiling and flew at me! (Yes, I found out the hard way that roaches can fly. LOL) Needless to say I stayed the night at my parents. When I came back the next morning, it was dead in a trap--and since then, I've found a few more dead roaches in traps and even some dead camel/cave crickets (bonus it's working on them!). The difference has been huge, and I finally feel like I'm getting my peace of mind back.
