The staff stayed an extra 40 min, put two new front tires on my car and 6 months later, I'm still driving it so I think that's a win! Give this place a chance. Shawn is fun guy, his personality might be a little subdued when it gets busy but overall he's a good guy that'll make sure things get done right.

Prices: I needed more ball bearings for my front wheels because every time I turned my steering wheel, it sounded like my truck was haunted. It would squeal so much you would think you're watching an Alfred Hitchcock movie. I checked prices from 2 other different places and all of the prices were competitive. So I decided to come here since it was close to my house. New ball bearings parts and labor hit me for $616. As they were doing that they found my tires were wearing out on the edges on the inside where I couldn't see it. They were ready to go at anytime. So I also got a quote for 2 new tires and alignment and that hit me for $433 total. As I have a truck with 24 inch tires, I'm used to paying $350 for 2 of them plus the alignment was $80. That was in my price range so total I dropped $1,033 in 2 days. The work: They really surprised me on the work as they quoted me a 4 hour work time on the ball bearings and were done within 2 and a half hours. So I went to pick my truck up and it was so silent. Now I'm happy if I'm out at night that I won't wake all of my neighbors up. As well as the tires and alignment the next day, which was today, they quoted me at least 2 and a half hours. They were done in an hour and 20 from the time they brought my truck to the back. It was really quick service. At the end of the day, I'll have to keep these guys on my radar and when I need something, just call and set up an appointment time. When I did it, I just called me an Uber to pick me up and drop me back off on the first day. Today, I just caught me a little nap but didn't sleep too long as they were already done. If any of you need anything and in the Dacula area, give these guys a try.

I arrived frustrated and felt raked over the coals by multiple places before arriving at Specialty Paint & Body. To say I wasn't in the mood to be haggled on on labor was an understatement, and I had already braced myself for another unpleasant experience. Chris and Nick were kind, patient, and spent a great deal of time looking at my vehicle with me. They didn't have a "salesy" tactic that we all dread when going to a body shop. I drive a 2016 Ford Fusion that I bought brand new. Unfortunately, a leak in my trunk caused my trunk and back seats to flood with water as it rained heavy the night before. Before agreeing to any work, they refereed me back to the Ford dealership to see if i could get the issue fixed under warranty. Chris and Nick were looking out for my interest and I appreciate that. I went to the Ford dealership hoping they could help, considering the issue isn't a result of an accident. My mileage was 36,020 on my odometer. Ford told me there is nothing they could do under warranty because I was over 36,000 miles. ONLY 20 miles over! They wanted to charge an egregious labor price so I left. I returned to Specialty Paint & Body after leaving Ford upset. While visiting Specialty Paint & Body and working with Chris and Nick, I was treated like a friend. We were able to quickly diagnose the leak and they were able to fix it. The attention to detail and customer service that I experienced was non-comparable to any body shop I have ever been to in the past. I will absolutely be coming back for all my body shop needs. I took my truck in to the shop to get a water pump installed and a thermostat installed. They said…read morethey could have it done in one day. They quoted me $858. I called the mechanic that referred me to the shop and asked him if that was a fair price because it seemed high. He said yes it's a fair price so I figured if I'm paying a premium like that the job would be done right and they would have it done in a day so I figured it was worth it. When I pick my truck up and drove it for a day or two I noticed the temperature was going back-and-forth a good bit. I called them and talk to them and they told me that there may be air in the system still and to burp the reservoir. I did that and my temperature still was erratic. About three days after I got my truck back it ran hot. I had to pull over and let it cool in order to make it home. On the way home it started making a rattling or grinding sound that I've never heard before. The truck is a 2014 and I've had it for five years and it has never given me any problems until now. They gave the truck a clean bill of health when I left the shop yet it was running hot and had new noises. I had to take another day off of work to take it back up to the shop and let the mechanic listen to it and see what he thought. He told me the noise was an idler pulley and the temperature issue was a coolant temp sensor. He said in order to replace those two parts he would have to remove the intake to put the sensor on and it would be another $650. I thought that was strange so I got another mechanics opinion. He immediately told me after hooking his diagnostic machine to my truck which Niel's never done that the coolant temp sensor was fine and it was reading perfectly. He then told me they probably did not put a thermostat in it or installed the thermostat wrong. When he got under the hood and started looking he noticed that the water pump bolts were not even finger tight and about to fall out. He took the thermostat housing off and found that the thermostat was installed upside down with a gasket jammed in there. He then called and priced a water pump that was $100 and they charged me $280 for that same part. They charge me $75 for the thermostat that was $15. Moral of the story if you ever get work done on your vehicle always call and price of the parts yourself if the shop is charging you 300% markup on something more than likely they are crooks
