ATI was hired by my insurance company to repair a bedroom that had ceiling damage due to a roof leak. Dave was our rep, I spoke to many times over phone while awaiting our roof repairs before ATI could come in for repairs. He was calling every few weeks to check in so we were not forgotten. As they wanted to get started as soon as roof repairs done. Outstanding customer service. When roof was replaced, Dave came out to access work needed, paint colors were wanted and explained the process in detail. I think they were out the next day getting started. Shout out to Juan was our technician who completed the repairs. Friendly, explained everything and always in communication with me when coming and going, and went above and beyond. They repaired wall, ceiling, repainted entire room and baseboards. Even left paint for touchups if I needed it for future. They even cleaned the carpet in entire room. Looked like a brand new room better than before leak. If we ever (hopefully not) need a repair completed or friends and family need repairs I would definitely contact ATI Restoration. read more

Scammy, Pushy, and Totally Unprofessional - Beware of ATI Restoration!!! I called ATI Restoration (West Sacramento/Sacramento office) for emergency water restoration after my bathroom tub sprang a bad leak. I told John on the phone I'd be paying out of pocket -- not through insurance. From that moment, he wouldn't stop pushing the insurance angle, like he was reading from a script. I had to repeat myself multiple times: I'm paying out of pocket. He said techs would be out in about 1.5 hours. It took them almost 3 hours to show up for an "emergency." When they finally arrived, they handed me a contract with zero pricing info. No rates. No breakdown. Nothing. Just "sign here." I asked for an estimate or anything that would give me an idea of what I was agreeing to. John called me back and told me they don't give estimates -- not even rough ones. He literally wanted me to sign a blank authorization and trust them. When I pushed back, he got rude and again tried to convince me to "just go through insurance." That was the moment I realized what was happening -- they wanted insurance involved so they could jack up the bill without question. Total red flag. When I refused to sign, John said the techs would leave. I told him that was fine -- and honestly, good riddance. This company gives off serious scam vibes. * No transparency * High-pressure insurance tactics * Rude, dismissive, and shady behavior I wouldn't trust ATI Restoration to mop up a spilled glass of water, let alone handle a flood. The company came to my home to get an estimate for a water leak in my laundry room. They took pictures of all of my house including private areas and pictures of my grandkids on the wall without me knowing. I would stay away from this company. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. read more

Not good, I was in contact with them very easily AT FIRST however as time went on, and in typical contractor fashion, they started not return calls or would transfer you just to be hung up on. tried to for two weeks calling and leaving massages without a single reply. Our damage April 2019, was a small leak from the ice maker line to the fridge, damaged about 4 sq ft; our ins co refereed is to ATI the mitigation process, removing the water from the foundation slap went very well, took a lot longer than expected but was done very well. Then the bids came for the floor replacement and that's when the trouble began. The repair supervisor was difficult to work with to the point that I finally FIRED ATI and went to an independent flooring store. What a difference, entire floor replaced with much better quality than was damaged and all at only out deductible cost. For mitigation they are recommended but only for mitigation! I had a small leak from rain coming in through the ceiling in the hallway near a light fixture and ATI was able to come and repair all of the damage. This included a new ceiling, light fixture and painted walls to match the rest of the hallway. The work was well explained and they were very patient as the project took a while for things to fully dry before work could be started. This was the first type of accident that I've had as a homeowner and I'm very grateful I was able to get their help to resolve the issue. ATI was referred to me by my insurance company after some water damage in my kitchen. They absolutely did what they were supposed to do which was remove damage and dry out walls. However, their communication is horrible. I never knew what their schedule was or when they'd show up. It was also extremely difficult to get any answers over the phone. We did not hire them to complete the repair work. I would not recommend them, but they get 3 stars for adequately job performance. read more

We had ATI bring a pod to our house to store items during a repair, they put the wrong address on the permit for our pod. They sent a couple of gals to come pack everything up and we were told they would unpack everything and put it where it was before, don't know how they expect a different set of people to know where everything was in the beginning, one of the girls started to get a little careless with unpacking and broke some of our crystal. not entirely pleased with them. they do the job but not to the best of their ability. read more

This is the first time my husband and I have remodeled a home. Barry, the branch manager, walked us through the process making sure we understood the steps, what to expect at each stage, and helped us make decisions to stay within our budget. Peter, our construction manager, was always available to answer questions, was onsite often to oversee the subcontractors, and did a great job of scheduling the different trades to have the project completed in a timely manner. Fraudulently slapped a lien on my home for product not sold and not installed. This "FAMILY RUN" business tries to shake down women and insurance companies. Their accounts receivable team as well as their project manager would bully me to the point that I did not want to pick up the phone. I used them after my property had water damage. They had sent me an estimate with linoleum for the floors and tile for the counters. I actually purchased granite for the counters and tile for the floors. They would NOT change the invoice. They even had parts and labor for a shower that was never damaged or installed on their invoice that they would not change. I'm selling my home so I reached out to them to take off the fraudulent mechanics lien and I would pay them a fair amount for the product and work they actually installed. I'm starting paralegal classes soon. This family owned business has surely been operating like this for a long time. After the sale of my home I will be taking them to small claims court to recoup the money that they will illegally receive. The work was done out of this Sacramento office so I'm unclear if only this location is fraudulent but the "corporate office" was not willing to listen to the end user, which was me. read more

In the event of a tragedy...nothing is perfect.... Ati comes in and sets your mind at ease....We suffered a all but total loss fire...What the fire didn't get the smoke did. I can not speak highly enough about what a relief it was to have ATI deal with the after math. They are professional and attentive. It's never a good day when your house floods and your insurance company calls in a water remediation team at 6:00 at night. My insurance company sent me ATI and I am forever grateful that they did. My water removal team showed up within two hours and worked until after midnight to start me on my way to getting my house back. Tony and his team were amazing. He let me know every step of the way what was going on for the remediation portion. Dave, the super for the repairs, has kept me posted with all schedules and has always been available to me. Their workmanship and professionalism continues to amaze me. I also work for a service company and customer service is key. I have had many contractors for various projects work on my home over the past 20 years and ATI has surpassed everyone else by far. I would not hesitate to call them again. read more

ATI was referred to me by my insurance company to repair internal water damage from a recent storm. The work they did was great quality and I really couldn't ask for better workmanship. The only concern I have with them is the communication. I had to initiate all calls with the foreman to find out when crews were going to show up, and unfortunately, the crews were late on each day of work. At the end of each work day, they didn't let us know when they would be back the next day, requiring me to make another phone call. We returned from a weekend away to find a pipe had broke in our house sometime while we were away. There was water EVERYWHERE!! It was a holiday weekend but ATI showed up and got to work immediately. Armondo and Marivel explained the process that was to take place over the next several days. They brought in equipment to begin the drying process and to stop the damage the water was creating. Barry Metcalf worked with me and our insurance adjuster and really helped me navigate through a process that was completely foreign to me. If this company is in your home kick them out immediately - they lie, steal and ruin property even further than original damage. They work for the insurance company not the home owner. Our insurance company sent them immediately after we reported extensive smoke damage, this company came in never given estimate of repair cost. They had non-English staff(spoke English when supervisors and agent not present) to "dust thing off". They literally spent two hours rearranging children's book shelves. They reported no smoke damage and left our home full of deodorizer chemical smell. We found deodorizers in our air hanger and they sprayed chemical deodorizer on carpet to cover smell which ruined it completely. We sent damaged photos to their regional manager and he pretty much ignored compliant and refused compensation. Because they told insurance "no smell" we were left with damaged furniture, carpet, walls(can't even paint as smoke smell increases). We are forced to live in a home filled with carcinogens until we can afford to rebuild. If these folks had been honest about the damage (we have had reassessment done after ATI cleaned who were shocked by the ongoing damage remaining in home but insurance refused to acknowledge) proper handing of our damage may have occurred. read more

We had a fire in our home upstairs and our insurance company recommended ATI for restoration. Kevin (project manager), Dave (Foreman/contractor) and Ana (head of the cleaning, storage, moving and restoration crew) were truly amazing. My husband and I were pretty traumatized...we weren't at home when it happened and we'd never gone through anything like this before. ATI and my insurance company worked together seamlessly to secure our home the day it happened, found us a place to stay that night and for the duration of repairs and began work the next day. It was a pretty serious fire and it took a few months to complete repairs, but their crew couldn't have been more caring, trustworthy and professional. I never had any problem reaching any of them. The quality of their work is outstanding, I am beyond ecstatic with how my home restoration turned out and I would recommend this company to anyone, without reservation.
