Chase (with helper Andrew) patched it up perfectly, dealing with the fact that one of the 4 speaker mounting points had been broken. The other cuts, in our wall, were also patched perfectly. Texture was applied to both, matching the rest of the ceiling and wall. We were given the option of doing the painting ourselves, or they could come back and paint it. We chose the latter, so Chase came back a few days later (after everything had dried) and completed the job. No one could possibly tell there was repair work done in any of the places. They were on time (or a bit early) both times. They laid a paper runner to the area, preserving our carpeting (and wore booties at other times). Casey (the owner) was super responsive via text, and was a pleasure to work with. The price was a bit more than I had originally expected, but the amount of work involved was also more than I realized. I highly recommend Wallen's Drywall for any drywall job you need done.

He reported back that the water damage was superficial due to caulking around the bathtub being insufficient and letting water splash from the shower/tub get under the floor transition. Since I was away, this inspection required a lot of trust that the diagnosis wouldn't result in uneccessary work. Peter reported honestly what he saw and recommended a handyman. We delayed moving into our new house by several days which cost us additional nights in an Airbnb. We had all of our possessions waiting for us in UBox storage, and had we been able to move in on Monday, rather than waiting until Friday for service that was never performed, we would not have incurred an additional month's rent for storage. Overall, they cost us somewhere between $1200 and $1400 due to delay, and never performed the service.

In total servepro was in my home for a little over 3 weeks working to dry up the water, and demo the bathroom. I would absolutely recommend to anyone needing water mitigation. Minus 1 star: when billing was collected, the majority of the charges were covered by insurance less our deductible. When the office called to collect payment they listed my payment options, credit card being one of them. I decided to use my card to get the points, the woman on the phone then informed me she would need to charge me an additional 3.5% to use my card, and that it's not up to them but the bank charges that fee. I personally think this is absolutely ridiculous, I too own my own business and I would NEVER pass the fee of accepting card payment onto the customer. Paying a fee to accept cards is part of the cost of doing business, it is also a tax write off at the end of the year. Bad business practices in my opinion.
