I've eaten at Atilano's on Argonne more times than I can count. Today, just as I was pulling into the drive through, my girlfriend called me. She had just been in an auto accident and was frantic, on the verge of a panic attack, having been verbally accosted by the other driver and the shock of being hit. I pulled out of the drive in lane and into the area just east of it behind the building to try to calm her and to let other drive-thru traffic by until I had the issue solved. For a good time of the 10 minute call, I was completely boxed in by the drive-thru traffic. Two female employees came out, demanded that I move, and threatened that my vehicle would be towed, even after I explained my emergency. They stated that it was employee parking only. God forbid their staff park in a patron parking slot, of which there are dozens in the Victory Faith complex that occupies the area. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this store and have been a long-time customer. NO MORE. Those two unthinkably rude and uncaring employees lost my business for good. I'll never be back. Shame on you for your insensitivity. You disgust me. I hope many others read this and choose to spend their money elsewhere. read more

Atilano's has delicious and reasonably priced food. Their horchata is amazing and one of the best I've ever had. I ordered a California burrito and I probably wouldn't order it again. Being originally from California, I guess I'm just used to the California burritos there. They are more flavorful and even bigger in size. I will give Atilano's credit for their reasonable prices, though. You get a lot of food for what you pay and their menu had a wide variety of items to choose from. The next time we are in Spokane, I want to try one of their chorizo breakfast burritos. The restaurant itself appeared to be clean from what I could see, but I took the food to-go so didn't eat inside. We have driven by this place many times while in Spokane, and I could kick myself for not stopping here sooner. read more

They claim to be San Diego's best burritos. I have been to San Diego, and no, they aren't. However, probably one of the best burritos in Spokane. And the huge variety on the menu should please just about anyone, including vegetarians or picky children. Every employee is friendly and upbeat, which is a nice change of pace. Will note that the seating area is usually clean and well kept. Was a little concerned going through the drive thru about the creeping vines of interconnected extension cords. Ok so i really love the food but the last few times ive gone my burritos are never wrapped... im being so serious right now. They havent wrapped them in a burrito wrap, they just put them in a To-Go box not wrapped at all. To the point where i cant even pick it up to eat it. It all falls out into the box. I want a burrito not a bowl from Chipotle??? Oh and also i wanted Carne Asada and im so sure i got pork. It was just a waist of my lunch. So we visited Spokane and had ordered through DoorDash once before And the food was great. This visit, we went through the drive thru and ordered a few items as we were hungry from our 5 hour drive. The staff who took our order and payment was nice. The food, OMG, now I Love love love Chile relleno and normally get the upcharge due to wanting the authentic, non-omelet style and the meal ends up costing me approximately $12. Had a tough day, hadn't eaten, and was about 3-4 hours late on making my dinner. I had been to this restaurant before, but in a different type and name, years ago. It is near to my home, about a mile away, so I stopped, hoping it would be good. A pleasant young man answered my questions, helped explain a few things, and I ordered 2 fish burritos. I had it to go, he asked if I wanted salsa, gave some, and put napkins in, neatly wrapped in paper and then in foil for the ride home. I really enjoyed them, even though I should have eaten one, but hunger and flavor won out. The restaurant was neat and clean. I plan to go there again to check out various dishes, and the prices are pretty reasonable. I'll probably be in when it's busier, if they are the same way, I'll make it a regular thing. Dine in, take out, and I believe a drive through, but I was tired and don't know for certain. This review is for Atilano's 11511 E Sprague Avenue , northeast of Sprague and Bowdish just a little bit. Evidently my human error didn't get my review posted. I went back, ate a sit down meal in a more relaxed pace, and heard a number of people come in for takeout. One was a family who were first timers like I had been, got their meal, and the mother had a bite, smiled and thanked the counter worker. The other folks were repeat customers, who had a good rapport with the manager, and one sat at a table, and the rest did takeout. I LOVE Mexican food. This is poor quality. 2 stars only. We won't be back. The guacamole is almost runny and blended smooth. The chicken was crazy salty. The tortillas (which may have been fresh) and the cheese were so greasy that there was a pool of grease on my plate. If you want tons of calories for cheap, come here. It's a decent meal and a good value but don't come with the expectation that the service will be fast or attentive. I'm not mad about it, either because I set the bar low when I arrive. On average, mediocre. The food can be pretty hit and miss. Sometimes it's absolutely out of the ballpark, and other times? You can guess! The lines tend to move slowly inside, and the drive-through line is always horrendous. When you finally make it up to the pick up window, you're still going to wait about four minutes on average. And then they have the gall to ask you at the window if you'd like to tip them. No thank you. Number one, we are not talking table service here, and number two, it's an extremely inefficient line and half the time my order is wrong. read more

Delicious and affordable Mexican food! While on travel, I was limited by transportation and wanted to avoid hotel food at all costs. I was dubious about Atilano's at first due to the low yelp reviews, but decided to give them a whirl. They have an expansive menu and great prices. I was able to sample them three times over this trip and every meal was good. It is standard taqueria-style food. They do have sit-down dining but the beverage selection is limited to sugary drinks and fountain drinks, no beer or margaritas. Despite that short coming, there are a number of positive features. They are open from 6 am for breakfast to at least midnight for those late night taco runs! Also, they have really good hot salsa. Get the red! The green is also good if you prefer mild. Probably my best meal here was the breakfast. The breakfast burrito is only $6 and it will last you all day! Heads up if you go through the drive thru and your female expect to get hit on lol .So FYI you can through the drive get a burrito and boost of self confidence in one order . WE ARE LITERALLY ASKING FOR CHIPS AND GUACAMOLE. I'm not sure where they keep getting the cheese from. On their menu there is an item called "Chips, Cheese, & guacamole" but it's very clear we are asking for chips & a side of guacamole. I love that they are in Spokane valley area. Their food in this location is good. The only thing is it's hard to get to their location if you are driving north on Sullivan. So you have to do a loopy-do. The few times I've been there their lemons are squeezable and they put plenty of meat on their tacos. Overall I am happy. read more

The chicken was so good, my husband doesn't usually care for red enchilada sauce but he "woofed" these down ... in seconds flat. Must've been good cuz he didn't even offer me a bite. I loved the fact that they have agua frescas like Jamaica, Melon, Pina, and Horchata. The service was friendly and attentive.. there is quite a line in the drive through all the way out to the street ... I guess the line speaks for itself ... I don't get asked to tip at any other drive-thru fast food place... if you leave less than 5 bucks as a tip they only give you 1 tiny container of salsa.
