After some time of them being open, I can absolutely say this is the spot to go to for anything close to traditional Mexican food. Fast, hot, and ready. I always live to sit down and eat but the drive thru is always another option.

We always make the drive to Washington for a good Menudo and birria. Glad it's over the boarder of Idaho. This place is very authentic. Flavors are rich and they keep their consistency. They make fresh daily tortillas and they don't disappoint. The service is always great. The ladies are always busy but they work great. Lots of parking space outside they have clean restrooms. Lots of tables to seat, and TVs to entertain.

First visit. Absolutely will not be our last. We LOVE the food here. My partner, who has struggled to find American-Mex food he likes, said he knows he'll be craving the Huaraches all week. He said "this is the most satisfied I've ever been from a Mexican food restaurant." Also, they have Jamaica, which is so hard to find in Spokane. Service was great, ambiance is light and rustic, and the place is very clean. 10/10, we recommend it and will be back.

OH MY GOODNESS. I can't believe I haven't been here sooner. I've been missing out. Everything here was so good and so affordable! Each plate was under $12. They have table service which is just as great as their counter service :). It's a little loud because of the bomb music they're playing but not too loud that you can't have a conversation. If you're in the Valley this is a must! They're bi-lingual as well (Spanish & English). Can't wait to eat here again.! I highly recommend the enchiladas mole and churros, they were so flavorful. Easily the best enchiladas in town.

The food was the best I have had since Salinas. The shredded beef burrito was huge and the chili relleno platter was huge with corn tortilla homemade and bean and rice. Service was quick and friendly. Shoutout to Jennifer. Real forks and plates a plus. We have food for another meal. The salsa bar very good. Very busy for 3 pm can't wait to go back

Some good and a couple bad things about this place. Background - I went six weeks without tacos. I know. It's bad. I think I lost hearing in my right eye over it. So there I was cruising in the Valley looking for a taco fix on a random Tuesday. The good - The food is seasoned well and has a good portion size. There is a young lady up front forming fresh masa into tortillas and frying them directly in front of you on a flat top. Excellent vibe. Food is fresh and served quickly. Restaurant is clean and well laid out. And now for the not so good... Went in asking about the Taco Tuesday that I read about on Yelp. Was told "sorry we don't do that". Disappointing. Ordered the Nachos with Asada and two quesabirria. Great choice. Nachos on their website shows guacamole and cream included. Was told after my order arrived at the table it would be an extra charge. After showing my server the photos on their website she said "no charge this time". Be prepared for changes in the food from their website menu. Overall a good experience but very disappointed that they don't offer anything for Taco Tuesday any more. Thankfully my eye has stopped twitching.

My husband and I recently tried this place again after not having gone in a while. I got the three enchiladas with carne asada. This came with rice and beans. The carne asada was delicious and tender, and the enchilada sauce was absolutely fresh and well balanced. I appreciate they make all of their tortillas fresh and are generous with the portions. My husband got the three biria tacos that came with consume, and he loved them. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the fresh onions and cilantro gave nice balance. We also appreciated the fresh condiment section where we were able to get additional salsa and lime slices. The lobby is always clean, and all of the tables are quickly wiped down. Everyone at the counter is helpful, and service is quick!

UPDATE see my original review below. I just read through all…read morethe comments and actually saw some after I wrote my review saying the same thing customer saying the same thing about the same food and how is bland and it apparently this restaurant does nothing about these reviews and doesn't listen to us as customers. I have absolutely no confidence that this restaurant is gonna survive. I would bet you that they're operating on a negative profit margin every month right now. And even with that they just still don't get it that they have to change their food and up their game. It looks like what other people are saying on here is that their sauces are not authentically ground from the peppers and everything that normally people do when they make Mexican food. That the meat is horrible. That they are not seasoning it so whoever's doing the cooking obviously is not somebody that knows how to cook and taste their own food. How can you make chicken like that for a burrito for crying out loud this is all you do in life is put chicken and burritos and tacos but you don't ever taste the meat? You can't tell that it's like not juicy? It has no flavor? It taste like you froze it and then microwaved it or put it in a crockpot without flavor? I just don't get it. You can see my original review below. And just like I said before it looks like this restaurant does not ever read the reviews because what you will see is that this review of mine will be on here for years and they'll never be any response online openly from the manager to address this issue. I'm on a road trip from California so I have Mexican food all the time there and so I decided to have a chicken burrito from this place. I ordered takeout and if they said, do you want sour cream on it I said yes I just said go ahead and put everything on it. I just want a good chicken burrito so I got this chicken burrito inside of this package and the tortilla was soggy and it was not like a grilled tortilla like toasty. The chicken meat inside of it was absolutely dry, overcooked, and really bland. It almost tasted like somebody had thrown it in a crockpot for eight hours and left it cause it just soaked all the fat out of it. It wasn't tender or anything. I was strongly suggest that that would be a number one priority at this restaurant is to not serve that kind of chicken meat. It's not good in any way shape or form. The only kind of chicken meat you should be serving out that chicken in the burritos is fried grilled in your kitchen right before right when you make the burrito and then cut it up and put it in the burrito and it needs to be juicy and not overcooked which means that you cannot freeze the chicken. Now that I think about it, it taste like the chicken was previously frozen, which took some moisture out of it and then it was crockpot ted which took the rest of the fat out of it, and then they served it in the burrito. It failed in all the categories, and I don't understand that if somebody's gonna put this much money into a restaurant why they would serve something like that. On my road trip I actually had a burrito from that gas station called Maverick or Mavic. The burrito at that place was superior than the one I got from this place. It should not be that way and I'm not saying this to be mean I'm being very honest about it with a ton of experience growing up in California with Mexican food all the time. So what I'm saying is I also noticed that I pay a little over $15 for this burrito. Isn't this Montana? Why am I paying above California prices for this burrito? I get the same level of burrito and grilled meat flavorful and good for $13 and something change in California in an expensive city. So tonight, I was very disappointed. I got a burrito that had meat in it that was not prepared right that was bland in a soggy tortilla where it was like pulled chicken and it was barely edible. On top of everything I was overcharged. Let me think? In California people that would work in that restaurant would have medical benefits and get paid a minimum of $20 an hour. With that taking into account, the burrito is about $13.50 in California and it was prepared better. Is there some reason why this burrito was over $15? I was really shocked and I just don't understand it. I would never come back to this place again if I lived here. These are just my opinions and I'm being truthful and I'm not saying this. I'm not your competitor. I'm just somebody traveling through that has experiencing this type of food their whole life. There is much better out there and you gotta step up your game or you're gonna wind up going out of business like a lot of restaurants.

I got the fried chicken taco wjth a hazelnut matcha butter and Gorgonzola. Which was very yummy, then I got the pork belly with an asparagus salsa. Lastly I got two of the birria tacos. Overall the two street tacos were very good, perhaps both an 8/10 but the birria tacos were a little disappointing because their dipping sauce was basically flavorless. And the whole thing desperately needed salt. I ended up ditching the sauce and just using a bottled green sauce which was very yummy. Both my coworkers who also got the birria agreed it was not very good. They stuffed the tacos full of beef tho. The service was a little funky, we came in a big group and she insisted on taking all of our order at the same time and then had us pay separately after we all ordered, that required quite a bit of shuffling around among us 7, a bit confusing. Also, I ordered a soft drink and the bartender handed me a cup that was not full. Very strange. So I asked him to top it off, and his response was "sure, but just so you know, you get free refills" like okay? So because I get free refills you don't fill the cup up? Little strange, my coworker who witnessed it also thought it was weird. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely come back. Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5
