Now that we got that out of the way I will say that this place has some tasty wings and affordable prices. The lemon pepper wet is my go to. The wings are a bit small but to be honest thats ok because those big wings are very much giving gmo. The combos here are genuinely well priced. Where else can you get a philly, wings, catfish, shrimp, burgers, gyros, pollock, tenders etc and it all tastes good. For me when I want hood classics, this is where I go. ATL DELI is one of my favorite wing spots for honey lemon pepper wings . The honey they use is unmatched. I've been going to them for years. Originally they were only located on colonial so I was thrilled when they opened one on OBT closer to me. The wings are always fried to perfection. If you call in your order you don't believe they actually start it until you get there so don't expect it to be ready when you arrive. The ambience is basic a few seats to sit will you wait for your order and not much else. They have an area for seasonings etc just in case you want to add to your meal before you leave. I absolutely love their food. It's amazing. The only reason I give it one less star is because of the type of people that go there lol. When you walk in, it's always rude, loud, inconsiderate people. That's a FANTASTIC price. I alwayyyys go with the teriyaki flavor, that's my favorite. They have tons of other flavors to choose from. From hearing other orders being called out, honey mustard and lemon pepper are the most popular. Also, no need to ask for extra sauce for the wings. They always come in a whole pool of sauce at the bottom of the box. Awesome!! My husband always goes with the 6 chicken tender combo with fries for around $10 and gets the tenders tossed in BBQ sauce. The tenders are a pretty good size. They're generous with the fries too. Once your order is called, you get ranch or blue cheese for your chicken, and you can even sprinkle your food with some lemon pepper seasoning or Lawry's seasoned salt. We always leave paying no more than $20 for the two of us. The portions for the price are just out of this world and everything is so so so good. One of my favorite things about this place is it's family owned, and they all remember you, and they even remember your order. By our third time there, they recognized us. Who I think is the mom & dad run the kitchen, and their kids run the register. They're always so friendly! Especially the mom! :) One more thing- order when you get there. They keep it all fresh by making your food when you arrive so the food doesn't die or become soggy in the sauce, even if you call ahead. I met a friend for lunch and she wanted to try this place out, at first i was a little hesitant since it was in a busy plaza off colonial and hiawassee . It was busy so I figured I'd give it a shot. I ordered the gyro with 5 wings combo, it came with a drink. It was fresh since it took some time to cook. I ordered my wings honey bbq with ranch. I was really impressed with how fresh the meat and lettuce was in the gyro and the tzatziki sauce so delicious, the bbq sauce was sweet and tangy. I get the honey barbecue wings every time I come and they're always good. The only thing is this place looks like it needs some renovating and anytime I call ahead it's never ready when I get there. It's obvious that the owners do not maintain the appearance of the dine-in area, nor do they maintain the soda machine...random, but there's always something wrong with that thing. Here's what's really good: side salad, fries, and the fried whitening. Like the fish is seriously good. What's "meh": the wings. Not the best in town, but they're good. Worth getting them in the combo. The hush puppies aren't that great either. But I'm a fan of Captain D's hush puppies, so I'm obviously not an expert on what makes a good hush puppy. Not so good: the gyro. Kind of disappointed, but it's just not good. There's a pizza place right across the street that has better gyros. What I want to try next: the fried rice. Went there for lunch today, HORRIBLE! First off, you walk in and it is basically an empty store, there are some cheap tables and plastic chairs. There was 1 other person sitting eating from the styrofoam container.... That's right, your food is served in a styrofoam container. Half the walls are finished in paneling...HELLO, the 1970's are calling and they want their paneling back. The tables all had empty straw wrappers on them, the napkin holders on every table were empty. We ordered the Honey Barbecue wings, they came in the styrofoam container with fries and 4 pieces of celery the size of a cigarette each. The wings did not come with wipes, my wife had to go to the counter and beg for enough napkins to wipe the sauce off of our fingers. The soda machine did not have any carbonation but there was no sign on it and the 2 ladies behind the counter never said a word. My wife told me after pouring her had soda, so, we had our choice of 3 juices. I went to use the restroom to wash my hands and use the facility. It was a combo bathroom that was as dirty as the restaurant and had a floater in the toilet. We had never been here before because we live about 45 minutes away and looked at the reviews because we happened to be in this shopping plaza, BIG mistake, you can pass this one by! And, oh yeah, the wings were small with very little meat and them and very forgettable! read more
