So guess what, I have to keep it hot for Super Bowl because it's been sitting out for an hour by the time I got it. there wasn't enough sauce so we had to use some of our home sauce. I was excited to try a new place for wings, but was very disappointed in several ways. First, the phone goes to voicemail and you can't order over the phone. No worries, I ordered online thinking they must be really busy there. It was supposed to be curbside pick up, but after waiting a while, I decided no one was bringing my food to the curb. When I went inside, I waited at least five minutes before an employee would even talk to me. There were only two men eating their meals inside, and no one in line. The employees in the back looked out to see me at the counter, didn't acknowledge me, and waited another five minutes before coming out to the counter. My "to go" meal had been waiting on their counter the whole time. Poorest customer service ever! I'm bummed that I left a tip when I paid online thinking they were even going to Come out to the curb or offer any kind of service. When I arrived home with my wings, they had forgotten the ranch dressing, and it was a really simple order of wings. As others have said, food is good, service and management are terrible. The service has always been bad - first of all, they rarely answer the phone. You have to call 5+ times before you get someone to answer. Then the employees are either rude or nonchalant. And orders are frequently wrong. But I used to put up with this because the wings are indeed good. But in my last visit there, my card got double-charged. So I called the store to ask for the second charge to get refunded. Easy ask right? Apparently not. The employee told me he couldn't process that and that I had to talk to the manager. So he said he would give my number to the manager. Never heard from the manager. Called again a few weeks later, same thing - they said they would give the manager my message. Nothing again. This went on for a couple of months. I finally called at the right time (when the manager was in) and lo and behold, he said he wasn't able to do refunds and that I had to talk to the owner. He then gave me the owner's phone number, which I called and texted. Not surprisingly, no answer there. After repeated texts, he finally responded. At which point he said their system didn't allow them to go back to the date of the double-charge and look up charges. What? So then I sent him my credit card statement showing identical charges back to back. He acknowledged there was clearly a double-charge. But then wouldn't refund me and told me to file a dispute with the credit card company. I had already done that but the credit card company couldn't process because, guess what, they couldn't reach management. I don't understand how it's so hard for a business to reply to customers and to process a simple refund. Like how about just offer a gift card for the amount, if you can't do the refund. I suggested that to the owner and of course, no reply. It wasn't a super large amount (about $60) - is it that hard for a business to just issue a $60 gift card and be done with it and not make the customer chase them down? I had slightly better experiences at other locations so I would say stay far far away from this one and always check your credit card statement. read more

Actually appalled. I ordered ahead so when I got there, I was already disappointed with the cleanliness. After getting the food which was in a greasy bag, I got drinks from the soda machine which were incorrectly labeled and drinks tasted like cleaning products. Ordered from here yesterday. I opted for the 12 wings and some of their desserts. I ordered online which was easy. I arrived to the store at the time I was informed it would be ready and was met with a prepared bag of food. This was amazing as I am usually disappointed by longer than expected wait times in today's world of understaffing. That wasn't the case here. When I arrived home I was met with a bag filled with nothing but honey coming from the dessert. The honey got everything disgustingly sticky. Thankfully it didn't interfere with the flavors of the wings and such but it was a terrible experience as I had to clean everything up and deal with the inconvenience of all the negatives honey brings. While I understand I placed the order, I always like to touch on the organization behind a company's to-go orders as the world is moving toward/opting for "pick up" or "curbside pick up" as we're all on the go. That is why I gave the 3/5 stars. I will remain more aware of what I order "to-go" as I understand and see, now, that this is more likely a dessert to enjoy in person in the physical store. Aaaaaamazzing. Wings were cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of breading so you could taste the chicken & sauce. The Honey Habanero sauce was my favorite. I'm all about the sweet/spicy. we tried to call and place an order before they closed. They would answer and hang up right away. After calling like 5 times we decided to drive there and wait for our order. We got there at 8:15, they close at 9. All the chairs were up, the trash cans were put away and the cashier looked like she hated her life. We then waited about 15 min for our order and they got it wrong! It was wrong on the receipt and we didn't even know because she didn't give it to us. So then we had to order again. While we were waiting for our order the cashier comes out and turns off all the tvs and the "open" sign. Forgot to mention these weren't young workers. One man literally had a gray beard. I wanted wings for an NFL watch party I was having. I placed my order online at 12:55 and it said Oder will be ready at 1:20. I showed up at 1:25 and had to wait until 1:42 to get my food. I get it home and my order is WRONG! Very upsetting because in person and over the phone the manager was very short and rude and not caring. I can't believe someone put her in a management position. I have been here twice and this place has legit wings. I like to split 10 wings between 2 flavors. So far I've had the medium, ATL, and spicy ATL wings. Those spicy ones are no joke. The kick starts as soon as you bite in. As for overall quality, the wings they use are good quality (not too fatty, not too small) and usually come out steaming hot with a good amount of seasoning or sauce. The fries are pretty good, but better with the seasoning. And one order of the regular fries can easily be split between two or three people. The fact that they have three flavors of Kool-aid is also legit. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, store has fresh decor and is clean. This is my fiancés favorite wing spot and we have been coming to this location for a while since it's so close to home. Food has always been amazing, unfortunately the service was lacking the most recent time. We ordered around $50 of food and sides, and the cashier girl had an AirPod in one ear and was having issues hearing us place our order, never took her AirPod out though. She had to be corrected a few times before the order was sent through and paid for because some items had incorrect flavors and such. We received our bag of items and head home, we realize that we are missing fries that we ordered. Fiancé goes back and explains what was missing, Manager on site was super helpful and made our missing items and included and extra for the trouble. Cashier girl was running her mouth about the temperature in the restaurant makes it harder for the workers and other excuses I really wasn't trying to hear as she was butting into the conversation the manager and I were having regarding the order. I got the missing items and head home, come to find that 1 of the 3 sets of wings we had ordered had no flavoring on them. It wouldn't have been an issue, if this wasn't one of the items we had to correct the first time because the cashier placed it wrong. Again, I go back and ask to speak to the manager again and explain the issue. Again super nice and understanding, true props to the manager because I could tell he was trying his best to do the right thing. We got our set of wings remade and all was fine. ATL Wings is easily one of my top favorite spots for wings in the valley. The traditional wings are crispy, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. Their dry rubs are the way to go--my favorites are the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. The fries, though tasty, are a tad too salty for my liking. The restaurant is fairly basic with no frills, but the food more than makes up for it. This location is always busy (for good reason!), so expect a little bit of a wait to get your food. read more

Been a loyal ATL wing fan for 3 years. My son and I bought wings last Saturday evening. I always order ranch plus an extra 8 oz of ranch because we loved it so much. Picked up our wings and went home. We both sat down and opened our boxes and first thing we noticed was the wings were much bigger than normal, which wasn't a problem, however, they tasted absolutely awful. Also the ranch wasn't the same ranch. It was awful as well. I did not get my 8 oz ranch and was given 2 ranch and 3 blue cheese. Ended up throwing $33 in the trash. Post-Quarantine Update: Review 2/5 stars Wow ATL... I'm not sure if the pandemic hit hard or what really happened with this company. I'm going to set some locations are closing down as well. I used to be a regular here, However with the service and the lack of consistency of experience over the past year, it really makes me sad to say that this place is going downhill. The food is not as good as it once was, wings I have a special crunch, I think they're cooked As fast as possible without the attention to detail that was once there. I mean I get it it's wings but when you're dealing with a large customer base and regulars all the time. It's important to keep the consistency up. To visit ago, I had an issue with being overcharged. Fries are extremely greasy. But I wasn't gonna leave a review about it. Now this time they forgot 24 wings of mine, when I went back drove all the way back they gave me a really hard time about it. Saying I was trying to get free wings out of them, when clearly my order was missing a lot of it. Yes they have Kool-Aid. But it taste watered down. Bathrooms are a mess. When we walked into the restaurant, it smelled of old grease, there were food crumbs on the floor, and the wrap around windows were streaked and dirty. We ordered a to-go order. We ordered 10 wings extra crispy. We only received 9, and the skins were rubbery. They were the worst wings I ever tasted. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, which was good except the lettuce was wilted and not fresh. We order five deep-fried biscuits with syrup. Instead of putting the syrup in a separate container, they poured it all over the biscuits, which leaked out the sides of the to-go container. I would not recommend this restaurant. I was working at AZ Compass for a basketball event and needed to call an Uber to go dinner before going to airport. My stomach was growling and I was going to walk into the first decent spot I saw walking down the street. Man, I'm happy I saw ATL Wings. Given the fact that I had to eat another meal in a few hours, I just opted for a chicken sandwich (like $4.89 after tax or something....less than 5 bucks) to give things a try. The chicken was definitely dropped fresh and was piping hot. I asked them what their hottest sauce was and they recommended a dry rub to me, but I preferred something on the wet side. I went for the "Lucky's Red Sauce," which was a super unique hot sauce/bbq/honey hybrid combo. Definitely not overwhelmingly hot, but certainly hit the taste buds overwhelmingly well. Lone gripe that I have is that the sandwich comes totally plain. No LTO, no cheese, no nothing. A few veggies certainly would have hit the spot, but it does come with ranch (although I didn't need it). In terms of COVID, the staff was definitely on point. Despite the fact that dine in IS allowed in Arizona, they opted to shut the dining room down. Everyone wore masks/gloves, and there was sanitizer everywhere in the spot. Ordered 36 wings (honey hot, ATL dry, & sweet and tangy) and a side of the bacon and cheese fries. All of the wings were over cooked and way too crispy. I like a little crunchy, but these were cooked to the point of the meat being dry. Sweet and Tangy - bad and entirely too salty. The honey hot are generally my favorite and the flavor was still good on those.....The ATL dry rub wasn't bad either. But again ALL were way too overcooked. The bacon cheese fries? Inedible. Soggy, burnt and tasted like old grease. After spending over $50, extremely disappointed. Complete waste of money. The 2 stars are only for the honey hot and ATL dry rub flavors. My fist visit was great. The wings were large, juicy and flavorful. The next visit the wings were more quail sized and so dried out it reminded me of the Griswold's Christmas turkey. After an apology from the manager we tried one last time with the same disappointing results. This restaurant had a niche market for the area and they could have dominated if they would have had the staff and crew that could maintain a high standard. I try to make my way to ATL Wings at least once every two weeks as they literally have the best variety of flavors wings in town. You have the option to get traditional wings or boneless wings and with that you can add different flavors. Dry rub which consist of ATL style, spicy lemon pepper, ranch, garlic Parmesan and garlic pepper. Or you could do BBQ which has honey barbecue, Cajun barbecue, extremely hot habanero, honey habanero, sweet and tangy the list goes on. If you're really trying to do it you can get the red hot flavors which consist of mild, medium, chef special, Cajun hot, hot and ultimate tonic. Think I'll pass on that one... CC is the best when it comes to getting your order in as she is awesome at the counter. If you're not sure what you want she pretty much knows the menu without looking and can help you to decide on which flavors to get depending on your mood or if your serous to step it up a notch with the tonic or make it a combo and get the best value for your meal. (Long run on sentence... oh well) Tonight I went with garlic parm & lemon pepper along with Cajun fries and the salad. I have always loved their wings but choose to go elsewhere due to the distance but decided to get ATL since my friend never had it. I placed an order at 7:30 to pickup at 8:20 on a random Wednesday night, when came to pick it up I noticed the restaurant was practically packed up for the night (chairs being put on top of tables, kitchen looking cleaned up for the next day). When I got my order, I asked the cashier (a shorter young lady with tattoos) if this was my entire order. She said "Yes" but after a 20 min drive home and opening the boxes I noticed my fries and other sides weren't packed. I tried calling multiple times between the times of 8:40-8:50 with the team letting the ringing go to voicemail. This scenario makes me believe that they had already cleaned the fryer and refused to cook any of the sides I ordered. The wings were good but I can't help but express my disappointment for the team and their lack of customer service and lying to my face about my entire order being there. I been judging wings for years and have tried many. For the last 7 years I have rated wings I had in the small village of Cashel, Ireland as number one. I have been there 4-5 times and drive out of my way to have lunch there when visiting in the summer. I then tried ATL wings a few months ago. I bought the medium and they were okay.
