Uni Granite is quite possibly the worst company I have encountered since being here in Georgia…read more They are untrustworthy, they're scam artists and do shoddy work at best. Richard came out to give an estimate on quartz countertops, installation, etc. At this point there was only communication, no work had been done. A couple of days later Richard and his crony showed up to cut the bar and install a usb wall outlet. I had to run out quickly to get the correct size outlet plate. When I returned the crony had completely ruined my walls! The wall where the bar was, had a large hole in it and the area that was cut to install the wall outlet was cut on a slant. I mentioned both issues to them when I returned, and they were both very nonchalant about it. It was at this time that my antennas went up. However, I had to play this game, because they had already cut my wall down. Fast forward.... So, the contractors arrive (without an appointment). At this point I'm just happy someone showed up at all, with the bar being cut down, I didn't have a faucet, etc. The contractors bring the quartz slab, and it's not what was discussed. I specifically, repeatedly..... stated that I wanted Sqaure edges. However, what I received was rounded. The guys very sloppily installed the counters. They weren't flush against the existing walls and the seams were irregular. They finish the job (Both holes are still there) and leave. I look and notice the faucet is on the ground. I yell for them "Hey, i think you forgot to install the faucet". They reply "we don't do plumbing". I'm sorry what? At this point I contact my credit card company. I then call Richard and explain everything that happened. He tells me they shouldn't have touched my faucet, etc., etc., etc. Richard comes out with his crony to install the faucet, patch up the holes, etc. I ask Richard for the owner's name and number. He says "Me", I say "you're the owner" he says "yes". In the end Richard called and made unauthorized charges to my credit card, lied about being the owner and just is a full-on scam artist. The owner Michael came out to repair as much as he could. But all in all, I wish I had gone with another company. They are horrible people, and their work is below sub-par. Save your money & time and look elsewhere.

I wouldn't use them again or recommend them. when you spend that much for granite you expect a…read morequality job. Granite is supposed to be seamless. mine came in three pieces. They joined two pieces together and now it had an ugly seam where it was joined. I contacted them to come back and fix it and they never responded.

I HIGHLY recommend Solo! Our neighbor recommended Solo Granite and Marble since they did beautiful,…read morequality work for him. We had a small job, using a remnant to replace a wooden top on our vanity, which is a piece of furniture. Mariela showed us around the remnant area, offering a large selection and explaining the difference among granite, quartz, and marble. We chose the piece we wanted, and she marked off the side/corner area that we wanted to use. As the shop began work, Victor saw a flaw in the granite that had character but might be a risk to the piece in the future. We went to the shop and chose a different side/corner of this beautiful piece of granite. The turnaround time was fabulous! I called on a Friday, they came out to measure on the next Tuesday, they ordered a special color of silicone to go well with the granite, and they installed on the next Tuesday, maintaining excellent communication/check ins the whole time. Victor Sr. and Victor Jr. came to install, putting in the new sink and faucets (which we had supplied to them when they came out to measure), and they set it up perfectly for us, managing around a faucet and vessel sink that gave a bit of a challenge. We were thrilled with the quality, the turnaround time, the price, the professionalism, and the fact that we could support a small, family-run business.

Great experience in the garden department but actually went in to purchase a refrigerator and…read moredishwasher. Three employees with no customers in the appliance department made us feel like intruders. None of them wanted to help - they were just talking, one sitting on a washing machine telling personal stories so I don't know why they were so unhelpful. One of them finally came and sort of "answered" our question but didn't really know and kept glancing away back at his friends obviously wanting to get back to talking to his fellow employees. We gave up and went to Home Depot to buy our appliances. I will never consider Lowes for future appliance purchases.

Anyway, Lowes doesn't install anything even though you pay Lowes to do it The subcontract out the work to a company who subcontracts out the work. Not only did the subcontracts subcontractor damage our brand new dishwasher, the also danaged our cabinets, and left half inch razor sharp metal objects sticking out of the space between the dishwasher and the cabinets on each side. Used zip ties to clamp off our kitchen sink water supply damaging the faucet and left us with no kitchen water. And finally half way thru the job scammed my wife out of another $150 in cash saying they needed it to finish the job. All in we paid Lowes the $150 to install and had to add in another $$150 to the inept crew and $100 to an emergency plut to get water going again. Now Lowes has agreed to reorder the dishwasher after extensive heated arguments and they denied any responsibility, but told me they would notify the sub contractor who would talk to the subcontractors subcontractor. I have spoken with the subcontractor and got a lot of we understand and we are sorry and we will make it right but time will tell In the meantime the company I originally paid to do the job (lowes) was unapologetic and stood solid that they weren't at fault. Proceed with caution with them they clearly don't vet the contractor or the subcontractors at all, and hold themselves harmless for screwing you over.
