If you need really straight pieces, don't be afraid to ask to pick out the pieces or tell them specifically what you're needing. They are so kind to help you get what you need. read more

The place to go for moulding and trim for older houses, such as mine. I needed to replace some picture moulding and they had almost the exact style I need. Close enough that it will work. I also bought a really nice back door from Randall Brothers years ago. Service can be a bit slow. You might have to stand around for a while until a sales rep is available. This is not Lowe's or Home Depot with dozens of aproned associates roaming the aisles. Plenty of parking. read more

I have been dealing with Randall Brothers for years but the lastcouple the service is non existant to get a quote takes forever to get a replyand you have to push them to get it then to place the order doesnt happen unless you call all the time or send email pushs to gety any info my last order has taken 8 days so far and still no joy read more

I understand that everyone can be busy at times however I left 3 messages over a 4 hour period that went unanswered even as of this review. I finally got ahold of another sales rep that couldn't be any ruder. Their very very short time to be open (4pm) and never on weekends also makes it very inconevenient. They do not want my business and I also chose not to give it to them. I'll stick with Home Depot or Lowes for now (besides they will price match) and I have better customer service even with it being Home Depot or Lowes. read more

I was doing a repair job in my home and I needed a special piece of moulding to match the piece I was replacing. I drew a picture of the item with dimensions noted, and emailed it to Jeff who told me Randall Brothers would be capable of replicating what I needed. The next day he called me to tell me that it was my lucky day. They found one piece in stock and it was mine at no charge. We have a craftsman style home with unique molding that you can't find at Home Depot. I called several building supply stores and none had what we needed. I sent a picture to a salesman and he immediately told me what I needed and provided a quote. Same day we had what we needed. A local hardware store with a selection of hard to find items for older houses. If you need trim, molding, or wood pieces for your house and you don't want to go the salvage route, Randall Brothers is a great option. You'll pay a bit more for anything there than you would at Lowe's or Home Depot, but that's the trade off for a better selection from a stand alone location. Parking is on the side of the building facing Marietta, close to the World Congress Center parking and CNN Center. There's not a big sign for the store and it can be easy to miss if you're zooming along Marietta like most people. read more

Randall Brothers has outstanding quality millwork and hardware that is almost impossible to find elsewhere. But I currently have a little over $2000 worth of new windows sitting on our front porch that are not the correct size due to a miscommunication over measurements (I sent to them measurements clearly marked for exterior brick opening, and not the interior wall opening). Randall Brothers did not ask about the measurements at order time, did not direct me to the Lincoln Windows online measurement guide (which I later found myself) and does not offer doing the measurements as a service. While I understand that in the end blame is mine/my contractors for not fully understanding the PO. I feel that Randall's sales people should have helped spot this and should at least engage with us on fixing the problem (offering to give us the reorder without markup, splitting some portion of the re-order cost, something). Instead their sales people are blaming me and my contractor, who "should have known better". Real customer service happens when solving a problem and to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. Over the years, we've spent more than $20,000 at Randall Brothers because of their reputation and products (replacement of all windows in my home, crown moulding in 3 rooms, 2 sets of doors, plus assorted normal framing lumber). Our reorder will go through a different Lincoln window distributor and I strongly advise folks to look elsewhere if this is the kind of customer service that can now be expected. read more

In my experience it is hard to find any warrenty longer than a year on wood doors unless you have a well covered porch. Ga is notorious for brutal weather conditions such as humidity, rain and now a days harsher winters. Without knowing what is was that happened and how they were installed It is unfair to just make a blanket statement. If you have a lot of weather pounding on your doors best to try and get a Fiberglass door. My experience has been class A with Randall Brothers. read more

I called to get a price on a door and followed up with an email to K. Kelly with the specs. No reply. Called the following day and she said she was working on it. No reply back from her. Called again 2 days later and she said she would call the vendors and call me back. Never heard from her even after my multiple calls, so I gave up. I guess they do not need my business. I purchased some window frames from there as they were not standard sizes windows. They charged me 3 times more then regular price store. I went back to look for the laundry bi-folds and I sent them a link from the Lowe's store with photo and exact specifications of the doors and the look. They gave me a quote. A few months pass by and I decide to buy them so i send the n. of the quote and ask them to order it. I sent a check in and they told me it was arriving in 2 weeks. I live out of town so I booked a flight to come back in 3 weeks to take care of the work there. ..... 2 weeks pass and I email the same person I have been emailing before to ask the exact date the bi-fold were coming in. Nobody replied.....got busy and wrote again to make sure they had them. No reply. I called and the receptionist transfered me I left a message. Nobody called me back ...... so days later I call again left a message, nobody calls me back. I finally went in Atlanta for those few days. i had little time to do anything and I assume calling and email would eventually get me someone ......but never did. I specifically told them i was in town and had to leave shortly. i come back home and finally I receive a call that the doors are there. I ask the contractor to go pick them up. ........ a few days later I ask the contractor to send me a photo to make sure the doors are what I ordered. He did and the doors were not what I ordered. So I call back and this time a sales person does answer the phone. i tell them what had happened and he apologized and said they can refund the doors. I said I wanted the doors I ordered not a refund and he said ok. So I bring back the doors ready to pick up not what I ordered but something else since now the one i wanted for some reasons cost 400% more. ..... then they call me back and made me notice that my contractor has painted 1 side of 1 door with white primer and they could not accept them back ....... I told them that if they would have answered the phone when I was there this would have not happened and it was not my fault I had to send someone else to pick it up. The manager came back and said he could get it back for a fee........because 1 door was painted. the stock fee was $22...........so not only i had to pay to flight tickets to get back there because of their incompetency, They wanted me to pay $22 for a stock fee for a problem they caused. ........and i found out later that the person that i emailed was no longer working there and that is why he wasn't answering. But not sure why the general phone wasn't answered and why the messages I left in the sales department voicemail wasn't checked.......so they have decided to lose a customer for $22. Not knowing that my all subdivision is going to change their windows and I was chosen to pick the vendors ........so stupid. I will never go back, not even if they will be the only ones in town. What a waste of time. read more

Beware buying from this distributor of wood products ie windows and doors. They do not stand behind their products. We purchased doors from them all failing within 5 years of purchase, Randall Bros refused to stand behind them and would not honor any kind of refund or replacement even when it was clear that they were all defective. read more

Phoned 3 times over 3 days to speak to a sales person. Receptionist said she would get someone to call me. They never did. These guys obviously don't need the business. Appalling customer service. So I took my $2300 worth of business elsewhere. I would highly recommend avoiding this business. read more
