Best experience EVER for my puppy!!!…read more Not only is the boarding exceptional but so is their dog training. I HIGHLY recommend Atlanta Dog Trainer Pet Resort. I will only board my dogs with them as I have tried other places and Atlanta Dog Trainer Resort goes over and beyond to make my puppy happy while we are out of town.. he loves them too!!! I found them on Yelp and when I asked our vet for a boarding recommendation, they mentioned The Pet Resorts. I called to schedule my dog's "vacation." They took down all of my information and sent me an email with everything we agreed upon, including a furminator bath and groom. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. They also seemed very knowledgeable. I received an email and phone call reminder of our dog's stay with them. They suggested that I fill out the new customer packet prior to arriving. However, I had printer issues and was not able to. They printed it for me when I arrived and I filled it out in their spacious lobby. It was lengthy and thorough. Their nightly rate of $40 per dog is for their Standard Runs, $52 per dog for their Pet Suites. Add $5 per night per dog during Holiday periods. Half day fee for pickups after 1 PM. Pick-up and drop off anytime during their business hours. When I picked up my fur baby, he looked so good! Probably the best groom he's ever gotten. We were very impressed. They also gave me a report card that accurately described his personality. He was definitely tired when he got home. The Pet Resorts board cats as well. They offer a pet taxi to pick up and drop off your pet for an additional charge. We will continue to use TPR for our dog's future vacations.

I have been a loyal customer here for years, I even stuck with them through the new ownership…read moredespite their negative reviews. This year, I made a reservation well in advance for my dog. I was informed by Clyde's that my reservation was cancelled at 2:45 pm the day before I was supposed to leave to go out of town. My reservation was supposedly filled by another pet on their waiting list, though I highly doubt they have a waiting list. I believe this is a petty attempt to "teach me a lesson." I received a text message from them at 2:18 on the Thursday before my trip that if I didn't send my dog's Vet records over by 4 pm that day, my reservation would be cancelled. I am a full-time working mom trying clear my desk before I leave to go out of town. I worked that particular Thursday from 7 am, until 7:15 pm, so I did not see their message until I left work at 7:15 pm. I immediately texted them back apologizing, explaining the situation & stating that I would have the records sent over asap. You have to text because it's the only way they communicate, they will not answer the phone. My vet sent the records over via email first thing Friday morning. I texted Clyde's to verify that they received the records, and they told me my reservation was cancelled. I followed up via text, again this is the only way these people will communicate with you, and they said they would check with management to see if there was anything that could be done. After several hours and several follow ups, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled and filled by someone on the waiting list. I am not a new customer here, I have taken my dog here every year, I have always provided updated records prior to his stay, and I have always provided prompt payment. This is not the way to treat a longtime, loyal customer. If I was not lucky enough to have a plan B, this could have derailed my vacation. I would never board with them again, and I would discourage others from doing so as well. They are extremely unprofessional. Additionally, it should be noted that they do not allow Saturday drop offs & pick ups, so you are basically forced to book an extra day on the front end & back end of your vacation. They tack on extra fees, and never provide all of the services they say they will. I used them because I thought the amenities were nice for my dog, but no amount of amenities is worth this headache.

WARNING: If you boarded your fur baby during the dates of June 9, 2022-June 12, 2022, please know…read moreyour dog has been exposed to KENNEL COUGH. As 2 of my 3 caught it at the facility. Please keep an eye on your fur babies and if they start coughing or have diarrhea, take them to the vet to get them checked! I picked up my 3 dogs yesterday and 2 of them have KENNEL COUGH!!! To say I'm upset is an understatement. I was in contact with the lady that runs the facility. She told me yesterday morning that my dog, Togo had a one short 2 cough spell but that it wasn't hindering him. I became concerned at that point. I know I am not a vet BUT I am a groomer and I have worked at a vets office before, so I do know some things. I picked the dogs up and the coughing got worse! Well to top things off my dog, Spirit started coughing. The owner wanted me to keep her informed, so I did let her know that Spirit started coughing. Then to top that off, I had to groom ALL 3 of my dogs when I got home. Now I know they are going to stink or be dirty when staying at a boarding facility BUT when my dog, Monty had dried dog poop all over his belly, that is unacceptable! They were absolutely filthy and smelled so bad! When this was mentioned to the owner (I have the messages,) all she had to say was, I'm sure that is from when Spirit had loose stool in the run. Um.....did you not clean the run? And why would not rinse off my dog? I'm not asking for a full blown bath but you could at least rinse him off! I also would like for y'all to know that even though I was notified about the one short 2 cough spell, when I picked up, my dogs where still in the same run. They had not be quarantined from other dogs in the same area as they were. I sure hope those who had dogs staying there were notified that their dogs had been exposed to not one but two dogs with kennel cough, as this is HIGHLY contagious. I even said that to the owner. I have all the messages. I want to also say that she seems to be so nonchalant about it. She has not even offered to pay for the vet bill and still charged me for boarding. Well with the timeline the way that is of when the coughing started, one of two things happened: 1. There was already a dog there with kennel cough and they failed to quarantine, notify incoming boarders and failed to properly clean/sanitize. 2. There HAD been a dog there with kennel cough and they failed to properly clean/sanitize. Either way my dogs are now very sick and refuse to eat and drink water and they did catch this virus at the boarding facility! Please DO NOT EVER USE THIS BOARDING FACILITY. I will be making sure to ask any future boarding facilities for their general cleaning procedures, to make sure this doesn't happen in the future. **Anyone is more than welcome to contact me and I am more than happy to send videos, pictures, etc.**
