My Lexus ES350 car's brakes had broken when I slowly left the Gas station and was going to drive back home at around 5:00pm today, I could not drive the car then I called AAA. Waited about 30 minutes the AAA people arrived, he suggested me do not drive the car, should tow the car to the Auto repair place, I found Atlantic Auto Repair from yelp, most of the Mechanic was closed or would close very soon, but Atlantic Auto Repair opens till 7:30pm. I told AAA people tow my car to this Mechanic place. When we arrived Atlantic Auto Repair, I didn't wait long time, Edgar quickly checked my car and showed me very detail about the issue, they explain very detail what is problem with my car, how it caused the problem, and why have to replace the brakes of the back tires also the rotors. They showed me each parts need to be replaced and explained very detail. They think even more than you could think, they worry more than you could worry, they consider all your conditions for you. After showed me the detail issue, Edgar and his crew gave me the list prices for all the replacements. It was getting late at that time, if in other place they could over charge you more for over time or just for your this kind of bad situation, also they could just let you wait one day to fix everything. But at Atlantic Auto Repair they always give you the most honest price. They did not over charge for the repair like the other places. It was getting late, getting close to 7:00 pm, most of the stores had closed already. Edgar told me, he didn't want me left the car there and have to come back to pick up the car tomorrow. Without delay, he and his crew drove to a far away store which still open to purchase the parts for my car at once. Actually when they was checking my car, at the same time they was making phone calls to the store to check if they have all the parts available for the car. When they came back, they continued working on my car and replaced all the bad parts with new ones. They treat you not only the customer but also even like the family. After they replaced all the bad parts, they added the brakes oil into the car, also they found out the brakes lights of the car was not on, then they quickly got the new ones, replaced the both brakes lights for me without extra charge. While visiting my friend in Long Beach a few weeks ago, I brought up the issue I was having with my truck brakes & right away he recommended me Atlantic Auto Repair, since he had his car repaired there a few times. I called & they're were open so I headed their way. When I showed up, Edgar, the owner right away started assisting me. He brought up to my attention & they were a little busy & to get my brakes repair was gonna take a day. So I decided to leave my truck, same day, in the afternoon, they called me saying it was ready. I came here to check my truck! it was leaking water and I took it to another shop in the LB and they said my water tank wasn't working and needed to get replaced! This is my first time going to Atlantic Auto Repair. When I arrived around 4PM I was warmly greeted by the main auto mechanic and described the problem I was having with my car. He had one of his mechanics do a road test to reproduce the problem. His mechanic took me out for a 10 minute test drive and determined that the control arm and stabilizer bar link needed replacement. Problem was accurately diagnosed and fixed correctly at a fair price. I left my car at 4PM and my car was ready by 10AM the following morning, and this was all without an appointment. No attempts to upsell on any other repair. Overall experience was great. The waiting area is a little small but the service is worth it every dollar. read more

Called them and 10 minutes latter they send the tow truck to pick up my car, the transmission was messing up, 3 days latter Edgar the main Mechanic called me and told me my car was ready, I stopped by in the morning because I couldn't pass by that afternoon. I brought my car here to get it repair. For a month now, my brakes been making this funny noise that makes everyone look at my car, it sounded like a cat screaming. I call this guys, made an appointment over the weekend & dropped off my car. I drop it off Saturday & picked it up Sunday. I told him that my car was having problems with the electrical and he told me to check under the staring wheel, but I'm hard headed and I took it to him instead in North Long Beach. I went here last week to get my car looked at because the engine light was on and my car was shaking. Edgar told me to bring it in and they will check it.
