In the early morning of November 13, 2025, my wife and I visited Capitol Chevrolet, where we met with Johnny Epperson, the Service Manager. Johnny greeted us warmly and immediately provided us with an opportunity to express our concerns in detail. He listened attentively to our complaint and worked with us to find a fair resolution. The outcome of our discussion was satisfactory for both my wife and me, and we left feeling happy and content with how the matter was addressed. As I mentioned, "Johnny made it right." I am grateful for Johnny's honesty, professionalism, and compassion throughout the process. He is truly a valuable asset to DGDG. I've been bringing my Caddy here for over 6 years now for all his repairs and routine maintenance. But the last time I picked my car up, I noticed they're charging a 3% surcharge on all bills paid by credit card. Sure, they don't charge that if you pay by cash/check/debit....but let's be real here, the cost of car repairs can be in the THOUSANDS at times. Not everyone has that kind of cash just sitting around in their accounts. Plus if I'm being honest, I wanna use my credit card for points/miles/etc., so that's a nonstarter for me. Sorry guys, but either bake that into the actual repair costs themselves, or take that shit up with the credit card companies if you can't accept that it's literally the cost of doing business. The DGDG monopoglomerate isn't a small mom-and-pop shop and I'm pretty sure they're not exactly hurting for money, so this is really just greed and lack of appreciation for customers. read more

This review is for the Service Department. We had an excellent experience with Sales. Service, however, has been a nightmare. Our Hummer EV SUV needed service for several issues. Worked with Edward "Eddie" Jimenez and had a ZERO star experience. - Poor customer service - does not address customer concerns and blames customer for his mistakes. This is not unique to Eddie, unfortunately, and this has been the experience for the past 4 times we have brought the vehicle to this center. - Repeatedly fails to complete requested and agreed upon repairs - Blames the customer for his mistakes and incompetence - If you are a woman - you will be treated as if you are incapable and dumb. My husband wrote down each issue and this list was shared with Eddie Jimenez who confirmed that the 3 issues would be addressed. - Eddie made it a point to tell my husband not to send his wife next time if he wanted the job done correctly. - I have never had issues when taking our other vehicles to Honda, Toyota or Subaru. This has been a RECURRENT issue with GMC Capital Service Center - Management does not address customer concerns - STRONGLY recommend avoiding this place and taking your service elsewhere - Writing this review in order to save others the time and frustration that both my husband and I have experienced with this center. read more

I made an appointment for an oil change for my 2024 pickup after making the appointment I called to get a price since their website does not mention it like the Chevy dealership next door does. The price I was told was 129 dollars when I got there the service writer CJ gave me a price of $219.00 I told him what I was quoted and he could have cared less. Purchased a car from them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. After 30 days my check engine light is on, and my stop start does not work, and it was sold not working but they claimed that it was just the cars way of saying it's been sitting awhile. They refused to let me use my own financing and when they finally allowed it, they made me come back the next day with a check rather than a draft from my bank I had in hand. Olivia Alvarado was extremely pushy, gave as little detail as possible when signing contracts, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience because I was using my own financing. She would not even put my bank as a lean holder so now I have to go to the dmv and pay to do it myself, almost as if she punished me for using my own financing.. she is not customer service oriented and a sketch ball. Oscar Escamilla ran my credit for probably 10 different banks even though I already had a draft in hand. After getting my bank on the phone to explain the draft he blew up verbally at my banker via speaker phone and said "we don't accept drafts" because they wanted cash or check in hand. Let me remind you I live about an hour and 40 away, so they made me come back the next day because they refused the draft. All in all, very sketchy experience, now the car has a check engine light on and the stop start function still doesn't work even tho they said it was just because it was sitting for awhile. Here's a SHOUT OUT to Eddy Jimenez (and the Management) at Capitol. Having just purchased a 2016 Suburban, (my 2000 Yukon totalled) from the Capitol dealership, I decided to visit again in hopes of having a little problem fixed plus have some items checked. What a difference two decades make re: car gizmos. My experience with sales (in another review, posted last week) was so good that I wanted to drive down for an apparent fix despite the distance. First cruising on the freeway since purchasing Behemoth and I'm in love once again in my 7th decade! Eddy taught me how to do a lot of settings, tactfully pointed out that I needed to shove the parking brake all the way down for best results (duh), that the adjustable back support (my former car was named Lumbarjack) was slow and functioning just fine, etc. etc. He was -- invisibly -- patient with this little old painter of huge canvases (I disappear when I walk behind them), never talking down to me and without any complications. A clear communicator and fun too. I'll study the handbook some more, as there are still functions to delight in... Meanwhile, don't hesitate to use this dealership's repair shop. Although I didn't have to get anything repaired (that's a recommendation right there, eh?) where they could have charged me, a quality place is easy to figure out. This is one. I just bought my 2015 GMC TERRAIN SLE 2 just a few months ago from a different dealership and i take my hat off to them for taken good care of this vehicle till up to the time I bought it. However I wanted to make sure that my GMC was all that it could be and that all was well in all areas of the vehicle. I bring my cars here regularly for service and I've always had a good experience. It's usually at least a 2 hour wait for oil change and routine maintenance . Before they would do a complimentary car wash at the end of your service but because of COVID-19 they are no longer doing that which is understandable. As Sean Delgrande says, "Be happy" (take it somewhere else) I usually take my 2017 GMC Sierra to Moore GMC in Los Gatos for service and have had nothing but good service but they've been closed due to this whole covid thing. So, on April 21,2020, I went to Capitol for my last free oil change before it expired and have a recall serviced. I also had a big staple in my left rear tire that needed to be fixed and the tires rotated. They didn't honor the free oil change nor did they repair the tire. They did however charge me $150. Three weeks later, with the truck sitting the whole time, I get an On-star message that the left rear tire is low on air. I take my compressor out to fill it and find the tire in question is full of air but that the left front tire is flat. So apparently they failed to reset the tire sensors for the new tire positions. This morning, I called Kurtis, the service writer, to find out "what's up?" Not returning my call makes me wonder if they really did any of the work and if so, was it done correctly? I also took it into Goodyear on DeAnza where they're charging me to reset the sensor but, as they're Goodyear tires, they'll repair it for free. As soon as Moore GMC reopens, I'll cuss them out for being closed and making me go to DGDG. read more

Everything you would want your vehicle service to be. After checking me in and going over what services I needed, Kurtis called a Lyft for me to get me to my next appt. He called throughout the day to keep me updated on everything that they did. At the end of the day, they were going to have to keep our van overnight. I called Kurtis back and said that would be no problem, but he said the technician had decided to stay and get it all finished that day. Kurtis also offered to let us pickup the next day since it was late, and we would have to rush over. Everything went smoothly and Kurtis answered my questions and addressed my concerns. I know you always pay more at the dealers, but at least now I can say that I trust I'm getting better service. Such a nice change from years ago. Thank you GMC service, and Kurtis. read more
