I had my son try a trial class at KJ Elite Sports, and unfortunately our experience was very…read moredisappointing. My son is in first grade and has special needs (ASD), and the owner was fully aware of this before the class. During class he was doing flips, which the main coach didn't correct or redirect in a constructive way. When that coach subbed out, the next coach stepped in and immediately resorted to yelling and using threats to try to "fix" his behavior. My son didn't understand why he was suddenly in trouble, and instead of helping him, they isolated him for the rest of the class. What hurt the most was at the end--every participant got a high five from the coaches, but when it was my son's turn, the coach very deliberately pulled their hand away from him. That was unnecessarily cruel and humiliating. I would never recommend this place for families, especially those with children who may need a little extra patience and understanding.
