I must say the customer service and hospitality were superb. I manage a large catering company in the Baltimore-Washington area, so I know what good customer service is. Marty at the front office was so accommodating and even offered us an upgrade when one of the smaller cabins wasn't available. The cottage we got was so perfect for us and had every amenity we could think of. Hats off to Marty and Jasmin !! Tent sites were very clean and fairly spacious, tho ours was a tad hard to back into especially with other guests in their sites with their cars parked. The bathroom and showers were very clean - solid water pressure and the water got really hot. They werent too far from our site either. The camp store seemed to have really anything you needed during camping. The water spicket at the tent site was nice to have for cleaning and putting the fire out, as well as the picnic table. They said there was a 1mi trail that leads to the beach - well we found a trail right close by that is 1mi BUT this trail does not lead to the beach, not sure where that trail is. But Breakwater Beach nearby is a must do, especially at low tide. Overall I'd come back to this site, my first real camping trip was a success

We reserved and paid for 5 campsites one weekend, and referred a number of our vendor to this location as well. Despite that, the campground would not hold reservations for the following weekend without full payment in advance. We asked them to hold it for three days and were told "policy is policy". Also, apparently one of our campers taking their child to the comfort station in the rain, so they drove over. Apparently they had barely parked for a moment before somebody in a staff shirt came out berating them for parking there. At 2:00 a.m. Ridiculous. But again, apparently, "policy is policy", logic and business sense be damned. Terrible way to treat a business looking to grow a relationship and not only paid for a number of sites, but directed campers there as well. EDIT: Astonishingly hostile, shrill, and unprofessional phone call received at 11:30am on 6/12. Owner/manager (?) called about "nasty" reviews and "slander" (note: nothing above is "slanderous"...just because someone doesn't like what you have to say about them, doesn't make it untrue). Generally just confirmed my initial impression surrounding the lack of professionalism exhibited by this establishment. If they are willing to call someone up and, instead of try to address and rectify any misunderstanding are INSTEAD looking for a fight...clearly these folks are just a hot mess. DEFINITELY stay away.

I wrote a quick "check-in" expressing my disappointment. Shortly after "publishing" my comments, I headed to walk on the beach. I hadn't made it far and heard someone calling me. Except for my husband no one knew me so I ignored it at first. But she persisted. It was the manager and she had in the very short time since our arrival and my posting my comments, read my disappointed online post. She was extremely professional in her handling of it. And, fortunately for us all there was another room available due to a last minute cancellation. She moved us to it, a better room, for no additional charge. Fortunate because even at the end of September this place is fully booked. Fully booked months in advance, year round, because of its incredible situation overlooking Nausett Beach. What I had read in the reviews was that the ADA room had met all the requirements of a former wheelchair dependent guest. And, while my husband and I are not dependent on that type of facility, that guest was. The Inn only has one ADA room (Cottage #8) and it was apparently the only room available when we booked back in August. Her handling of our disappointment was superb and the availability of a substitution was, as I said, fortunate. I would suggest, however, in the future that if a guest is being given the ADA room, that they be told at the time of booking. Most other properties that I've dealt with have done this. The client then knows what to expect and can make a decision to accept the room or not. We are here for another night and look forward to enjoying this incredible location.

Hard to beat the location! Located just next to the parking…read morearea for Nauset Beach, the rooms offer incredible ocean views, and you can simply walk right onto Nauset Beach. For these reasons, it is a pretty spectacular place to stay. When you arrive early you are able to park and use the beach until your room is ready, and stay on the day of your checkout. This is a very nice option that helps maximize your beach time. This seems to be an old property that is being modernized, so you have to set your expectations accordingly. The main bedroom was very nice with a wonderfully comfortable bed, but the bathroom needs some love, and looks a bit untouched since the 50's. While clean, some might not like that. We were also surprised that a blow dryer was not included, we asked and they said they did not supply them for fear of everybody using them at once and tripping their breakers. This can be a deal breaker for some, and I had to run to CVS to buy a blow dryer, a first! A simple continental breakfast is provided, but I recommend that you may want to supplement with some of your own cereal or oatmeal as the muffins go quickly. The checkin/checkout/reservation process was pleasant and touch free. If you are looking for an opportunity to feel like you are staying at the beach, and don't mind a little bit of a rustic setting, then you will absolutely enjoy your stay here

They have a very friendly and helpful staff A nice continental, breakfast of boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit, and plenty of coffee!!!! They have a free shuttle that stops and picks up every 30 minutes during the summer right in front of the hotel! You could even bike to downtown from here. Best kept secret in Providence town There were only two downfalls. There are no microwaves in the room, although they are available. The bathrooms are on the small side, especially the sink. Jennifer is a wonderful host and is so helpful on the property and what's going on around town. The area is quiet, clean, peaceful. The cottages are fully furnished with all you need in the kitchen. Each cottage is appointed with everything, outdoor showers, bbq grill even charcoal to get you started. And they are Clean. This matters. Some cape cabins or rooms tend to be musty or messy. Sorry, but I've been coming here for 45 years and nothing's changed. Cottage grove cottages are impeccable. This is a quiet refuge from kiddos. Sorry, but that's my take on it. There is no pool, no playground, none of that. Plenty of those elsewhere and that's where the kids are. Go enjoy that if that is what you need. This is quiet and wonderful for adults, couples, singles, artists, empty nesters or anyone wanting to get away from screaming, kids crying and yelling, parents, cursing, car horns.... Ah. Back to serenity. Isn't that better? This is the best there is. Close enough to PTown, Wellfleet and Truro.
