They then told me i needed to drain all the water out in case we get another cold snap and that they really couldn't tell me when they could come out to install due them being very busy. Told me to drain the water and use a wet vac to get as much water out of the tub as i can- so i proceeded to do as directed, that night i got to thinking about it and just had a bad feeling, so in the am i immediately started looking for a 2nd opinion. That is when i found my life saver Tim- called him- he called me back the next day (friday) and i told him what had been told to me- he said that doesn't sound like a bad circuit board and said he could be out that following Monday- Tim came Monday and within 10 minutes found the problem- just sound bad wiring from the electrician, he fixed it! I am so thankful for Tim! He is very professional, and honest. If i could give Tim and Total Spa 10 STARS i absolutely would! He is your guy for Total Spa Repair! However that changed when I purchased my parent's home which had, at the time in the Spring of 2023, a 4 year old above ground pool purchased from Gallaghers and serviced by them from the beginning. When I noticed rust on the bottom of the pool wall, I took pictures, sent them to Kelly via email. She was unaware if the pool was "registered", said the warranty would not be valid without this & that since I was not the original owner, the warranty would not be valid. She said, on phone - I still have the message, that the pool was not back-filled by the installer & that it was the responsibility of the owner to get a good installer. I knew they recommended the installer, but she refused to give me the name (emails). I found out from a contractor the name of the installer Gallaghers was recommending, I contacted them, and they confirmed installation. The contractor stated he told Gallaghers in 2018 that the installer was doing a poor job by not back-filling, they didn't listen, and that lots of customers were now having problems. During this time I had Gallaghers come twice to explain (to myself & new tenants) taking care of a salt water pool and they stated the pool (with the rust) was good for another year. A week later they said they needed to come a third time to ground the pool due to the rust, however the electrician told me later he did this right after installation, so what they did - I have no idea. Interesting, just weeks after this when I had another pool company come to examine the rust we discovered a leak in the liner, sand was escaping from under the pool due to the lack of support from not being back-filled, and I had to pay 4K for back-filling, pool water, a new liner, & installation. Gallagher's can no longer be trusted to be honest, ethical, and back up their warranties. I considered taking them to small claims court, but don't want to spend the time & effort, so I have written this review.

I called the Reisterstown store to ask for help and the guy just laughed like it was a big joke. I spent over $7000 to be told, "we can't help you. Call the service department on Monday." When our pool and deck were installed 21 years ago by them, I added a side deck myself and the woman actually wanted to bill us because she thought they built it!!!! This company overcharges! Terrible company. Never use them again.

We did look at the return policy before we purchased the pool cover to make sure we could return it and there was nothing stating we could not return opened items. We didn't take the pool cover out of the box, we only opened one side to see if we liked the material and we didn't. Today on 9/10/24 my fiancé went to take it back & the employee would not allow the return because he said it was opened and didn't know if we tampered with the pool cover. I tried to call today 9/10/24 and they put me on hold for over 10 minutes so I did decide to hang up. Also while in the store on 9/09/24 we had to wait over 20 mins for an employee to come out of the back room to assist us. There were other customers that were waiting as well but they decided to leave because of how long it took. We will NEVER shop there again & if you do good luck.

The limelight collection is even better than I imagined it would be. Sometimes we select one color and other times we just let it rotate through all the colors. Glad to have finally made this purchase back at the end of 2020 - the hot tub is so therapeutic and relaxing. I especially enjoy it on frigid nights during winter when the sky is clear and I can star gaze for as long as I want. :) Everyone at Capital Hot Tubs has always been wonderful. Purchase, delivery, and installation all went smoothly. Anytime we have needed assistance, they are quick to respond whether it is a question about a replacement part or water quality or even when an exterior panel needed to be repaired, the staff go above and beyond. We are fortunate to live close by as well. Our filters needed to be replaced last week so I just stopped by on a whim and Evelyn was very kind and helpful (Hi and thank you again, Evelyn! I enjoyed chatting with you about hot tubs, family, and pets, too!). :)

The purchase costed more than Costco or an online retailer, but It's well worth it. There are a lot of logistics when purchasing a hot tub such as delivery, installation, electrical, setup and so many other factors. And also warranty. These folks did an amazing job from electrical to set up and so many other items that's needed when setting up a hot tub. The best part is they provide amazing service afterwards. I've had to call for maintenance a few times and capital hot tubs takes care of it. Recently my control display died and Jay came over and took care of everything and was courteous, professional, and he knew his stuff. On top of that Jay also fixed another item under warranty that I wasn't even aware of. If you're looking for a real hot tub please don't buy online. Instead go to these folks and they will make it great and also after.

He came out and measured my yard and was extremely professional. He answered all of our questions and even had one of the owners sit down with us to address any questions he couldn't answer. We even brought up the bad reviews we read online and they had responses for those. Seeing how we wanted a fiberglass pool built by River Pools and Browning was the only company working with them in our area (more on that later) we signed the contract and off we went. The first crew that came to our house were exceptional. This team that dug the hole and put the pool in the yard did a fantastic job. We even bought the guys lunch because of their hard work and skill. At this point we are thrilled that the project is going so well. The concrete and paving crew was also amazing. They did a great job and we were very happy. Now this is when everything takes a complete turn and sugar turns to sh*t..... The landscaping crew was awful. I mean atrocious. They attempted to turn our backyard around the pool into a ski slope. They made zero effort to level things off (which was in the contract) and tried to bury huge chunks of concrete in the yard. I called the project manager and even sent photos and videos of these gentlemen doing this and he did nothing about it. My wife and I had to go outside and literally yell at them to stop doing what they were doing. Our original PM never showed back up to our site. Browning sent another gentleman who flat out told me "as far as we are concerned the project is done." Hot tub still not delivered, pool heater still not delivered but the project is done? I wind up having to contact another company to get our yard in order because of Browning's refusal. More money spent. Wait, it gets worse. Included in the contract was a year of pool cleaning services. The first month of service they send you the A team. The pool looks amazing after each cleaning. After that month here comes the F team. Guys that literally spend 5 minutes at your property and send a report that the pool is clean. I called the service department to complain only to be told "that is the standard time it takes to clean a pool." Frustration is building at this point. Next I get a phone call from service that says "if you want to use us for pool cleaning next summer it will be a $200 fuel charge PER VISIT because you are out of our area." I wasn't out of your area when you wanted six figures from me but now all of a sudden I'm too far to do business with? Lastly, Browning came to winterize the pool after the first season and drilled a hole right through one of the deck jet lines. Did the guy say anything? Absolutely not. We didn't find out until the next summer. I called Browning and told them what happened and I get told they will send a team out to look at it. Two guys alone out and they cannot fix it because it is under the pavers and concrete. They tell me they would let the service manager know and he would call me. I made calls to Browning for a year and even emailed the owner and never received a response. The feature was never fixed and Browning has never contacted me about me about making it right. If you are considering a pool or hot tub project you should not consider using this company.
